AA Phil's 24 Hour Lock & Key

Called Friday a.m. - and was given a and quot;be there in 20and quot; Was there in 20 min (or less) Opened the door magically (ok, he knows whats he's doing - so not so magically) quickly. Professional in every way.

My 87 y/o mother was locked out of her apartment located in my house. I calledPhil and he came out promptly and my mom was in her apartment in seconds. He was very personable, professional , prompt and most of all reasonable. I would without hesitation recommend him and would hire him again!

Our Andersen sliding glass door lock was no longer working correctly. It would lock, but not quite catch completely, and you could still pull the door open a bit. And, if you locked it with the key from the outside, it would not allow you to open it from the inside. I explained what was going on to Phil over the phone, he told me that if he couldn't get it working, he wouldn't charge me the service call of $75. He told me what time I could expect him, and he called to let me know he was on his way. He worked on the lock a bit and was able adjust the timing of the lock and got it working again. Nice guy, I liked his responsiveness. I will call him again when I need a locksmith!

Once I noticed that I had no back door lock, I contacted Phil and he obliged my hours and my imminent need for repair. Even though I scheduled for when I should have been home, of course that was the day the train ran into problems, and I was going to be late for our scheduled meeting time at my house. Because the back door (obviously!) was accessible, I contacted Phil and explained the situation. He went ahead and repaired it without me there, left keys for me, and mailed me a bill. I got home and everything was all fixed - absolutely no effort on my part (other than a phone call!). I would certainly never hesitate to contact him again - a great value and a professional job!

I slam the trunk closed, and everything is locked; doors and trunk. It was late, so my wife picked me up, and then the next morning I searched Angie's List for a locksmith. (I don't have any type of roadside assistance service, or even add-on insurance coverage for towing, lockouts, etc.). Phil had good ratings, so I gave him a call. He was at an appointment that morning, but said he'd be able to unlock my car around 1:00. He told me upfront it would be $85 dollars. He called me back around that time, and said he was on his way. We met at the grocery store parking lot, and I showed him where my car was parked. It took him all of about 10 minutes to take a thin rod and hook, slide it inside past the door window, and lift the inside trunk release lever. Best part: this was done without causing any scracthes, marks, dings or anything on my 2012 automobile. I didn't grade the pricing because I'm not sure what the going rate is for this type of service, if you don't have any type of roadside assistance. But it sure didn't take long (which is actually good). He did have to drive about 30 to 45 minutes to get to me, however. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate at all to use Phil again. Two thumbs up!!

I called at 8:00 am on a Sunday Morning and he was there at 8:45 - 9:00 am in the morning, on a very cold morning. He picked my lock and had me in my home withing 30 minutes. It was very cold so picking locks in cold weather can take a little bit of time. I have used Phil's service several times to replace locks and open vehicle and residence locks. He is fast, courteous, reasonable and prompt.

Phil came out within 20 minutes of my call. He was very professional and changed the lock on my front door and re-keyed several other locks so that I only needed one key. Would definitely use him again!

The gentleman who answered the phone was not very friendly, I therefore decided not to use him.

I called he gave me his base prices over the phone and his payment options. When he arrived he offered his credentials, and asked for mine to be sure this was my address. He examined both locks made the changes and keys accepted his payments and was finished with the job within 45 minutes. Very business like and called to check that I was home before arriving.

Phil was easy to work with and did exactly what I needed. After my initial inquiry, he showed up the next day (our moving day) exactly as I requested. Even though there was a lot of commotion with the move he got the locks changed on the both my doors. He made sure they could use the same key and made me as many copies as I needed (which was 4). He was totally professional and the price was super reasonable. He even fixed my deadbolt that was installed incorrectly by the previous owner.

the guy was great, called him when i was locked out of my house, he said he would be there in a half hour and he was right on time! he took care of my problem quickly and even made me a couple extra keys in the back of his van. would definitely call him again if needed!!

I got a great recommendation from a neighbor about Phil ages ago and had been meaning to have our deadbolt fixed and our doorknob changed for a couple of years. I finally called him and he was very friendly, informative, and upfront about costs. I hesitated when he suggested a daytime appointment for the next day and asked if he ever made appointments after 5 pm. It was 4:15 at the time, and he asked me if I would be home by 5 that day. I said yes, and we met at my house less than an hour later. He was finished by 5:30 and I was a very satisfied customer!

Phil came within 1 1/2 hrs of me calling him in the morning. His work was of good quality and there were no surprises. I would recommend him for this type of work.

Excellent job. I called Phil on a Sunday and he was here within 30 minutes. He completed task efficiently and advised me to call the door knob makers to take advantage of lifetime warranty. Also made excellent copies of keys.

Phil answered our call right away (on a Saturday!), and was here within the hour. He did a great job, was very personable and professional, and it cost exactly what he said it would. I wish there was a grade higher than "A"-- he was GREAT!

Called, he was here in 30 minutes, and the whole process took about an hour. Was able to clean and not replace front door lock cylinder; then cleaned, repaired and rekeyed an old deadbolt lock to the rest of the exterior locks.

He was prompt, worked efficiently, was punctual and met me at a time that worked with my schedule. I would use Phil again for any of lock issues.

It was great that he was able to come out the same day. Great work and offered suggestions on how to remedy the situation of not having keys for the locks (call manufacturer, etc.).

EXCELLENT! He called to let me know when he was coming, which was promptly within the set time period. He assessed the job, gave me a quote and had the job done quickly and efficiently. The locks work great and Phil cleaned up after himself. I would highly recommend this company!
