Great service. Phil came out within a couple of hours of calling. Fixed lock on back door that I have been having problem with for years which previous locksmith could not fix several years ago. Price was also reasonable.

This is why you use Angie's List! Before coming out Phil asked me to describe the problem, and send pics of the front door assembly. He recognized that we had a Baldwin door-set and that there is a common fault that occurs with this brand. Instead of charging me for the parts that he figured I would need, he told me to contact Baldwin and that they would probably send the necessary parts for free, which they did. A few days later, the parts arrived and Phil came out to do the work the next day. Because I knew he could have come sooner and just charge me for the parts that I ended up getting for free, there was no way I wasn't going to use Phil to fix it, whether he was available right away or not. What he did was too big of a sign of his honesty. Anyway, he arrived when he said he would, and replaced the bolt. He also saw an issue with the latch and fixed that on the spot as well...all for what I felt was a very reasonable fee. As you can tell from this review, I cannot recommend Phil highly enough. Great guy and great service!

I called Phil on a Friday evening after finding solid reviews on Angie's List. Phil came out with 30 minutes and went right to work. Was very professional and explained what he was doing and why. He quickly re-keyed 2 deadbolts and 2 knob locks and made me the spare keys that I needed He was here about an hour. I was so glad that he answered the phone and was willing to come out so quickly. I'm glad I found his company and he seems like a good guy to do business with. I will definitely keep his card.

He was extremely responsive, and helped out right away. Our keys were stolen to the house, and he came over within an hour to replace the locks. Very punctual and informative.

Phil was absolutely professional and nice. He was at my house quickly, got me in to my house in no time, and most of all, was trustworthy. He showed me evidence of him being licensed and bonded and checked my ID to make sure I was really the homeowner. This may seem like a given, but one locksmith I called hung up on me when I asked if they were licensed and bonded. I was very stressed about the situation. But, the whole time, he was very friendly and professional. I was impressed and saved his number to my phone in case I ever need it again! Would definitely recommend.

Phil was very responsive and flexible in when he could come to our new house to fix a lock, replace a knob and deadbolt, and rekey all the doors. When he got there, he let me know which type of lock to get and then said he would just come back in a day once I had received the new lock. Super friendly, knowledgable and did a great job.

Phil came within a half hour of me calling him, replaced the broken latch, filed down the top of the door a bit and adjusted the strike so that the door would open and close properly. The whole process took about 20 minutes.

My better half's purse was taken from her while in downtown Chicago on Friday. I called AA Phil's on Satarday morning and got Phil on the phone. I told him the story and what I needed (all locks in the house to be re-keyed, including the garage). He said he could be there in half an hour. Phil was at the front door in just under half an hour. He went to work immediately and was quite efficient and methodical about his work. I spoke with him nearly the entire time he was here (it did not seem to bother him...). He told me a little bit about the history of his business. He has been at this for quite a while and it shows. A very professional and experienced lock smith. He took a customer call while here (someone locked out of their car). I was amazed at how much he new about the lock on the customers car off the top of his head.I highly recommend AA Phil's.

We called Phil after hours to dig a broken key out from the lock in my front door. Although it was rush hour, Phil was there in less than 20 minutes. The key was broken off fairly deep in the lock, so it took some expertise to get it. Phil did it in a short amount of time and we were on our way. Quick service and professional work at a great price. I recommend Phil highly and without reservation. I will definitely recommend him to anyone who needs a locksmith.

Phil came within an hour of calling him. He took the lock apart fixed the insides and lubricated the whole thing and it is working like a charm now. He also checked the locks on my other 2 doors and did a little maintenance/repair on them too. I would definitely call him again.

We needed a lock replaced to one of the outside doors to our house. I think the lock on the door was an original lock and this is an old, old house. I contacted a different provider who kept missing appointments. I called Phil's and he was working on another job but said he would be there at so and so time. He then called and let me know he is on his way, remember, this is same day and he was here w/in about 90 minutes after my call (although he was a little later than he said he would be). He had been working another job. He did an excellent job and it was quick.
