I called twice and left vmails and received no call back. I am calling AL to get a refund.

Three women worked on the house, and they were all very sweet and courteous. They had great attention to detail and were very careful with our things. I highly recommend!

Overall, it went very well. The cleaners were prompt and called to alert me that they were on their way. They did not bring their own supplies, but that was expected. They did not dilly-dally around. Once they got their instructions from me, they went immediately to work. They worked very fast as they had other jobs to complete that day. Nothing was broken during the cleaning. Once I found myself "in the way." So I went into a room and allowed them to clean without distraction. They were courteous. I gave them a $30.00 tip for a job well done.

These ladies are simply amazing. One lady came to give an estimate first, and two showed up on the scheduled day. They were efficient, professional,and thorough--simply, they were amazing! I am so very pleased with their performances and would recommend them to anyone needing a house-cleaning job!!

Jadwiga was excellent about communicating by e-mail and phone regarding the scheduling of the cleaning appointment for our 2-bed, 2-bath condo. We had no trouble scheduling for the Saturday morning of our choice. Jadwiga's daughter, Krystyna, arrived at our home on time with two cleaning ladies. She asked if we had any specific questions/ requests, mentioned that Jadwiga would come at the conclusion of the job to pick up the two ladies, and then she left. The two women got to work immediately. They were pleasant and professional. We had some errands to run while they were working, which they were completely fine with. I was under the impression that they would clean for the full 3 hours since that was the deal we had purchased, but at just under 2 hours, I received a call from Jadwiga saying that she was outside of our place. Luckily, we were nearby and I was able to go let her in. We had one other quick errand to run, so I asked her what time she thought they would finish up. I was pretty surprised when she said they would be done within the next 10 to 15 minutes. We came back 10 minutes later, and they were wrapping up. Jadwiga asked me to inspect their work, which I was glad to do. Our home was sufficiently clean, and I thanked them all for their work (and tipped accordingly). I suppose maybe it just didn't take 3 full hours to clean our space, so the fact that they were only there for a little over 2 hours doesn't bother me, but it seemed to me that they were possibly rushing to get to their next job, so I'm hoping we didn't get short-changed because they had too many appointments booked. Overall, it was a positive experience, and I would recommend their cleaning service to others.

K&J Cleaning is great. Jadwiga texts to confirm your appointment and texts again about 30 minutes before she arrives. Since Jadwiga runs the business and does the cleaning (usually along with her sister), the rates are excellent (you don't end up paying a middleman; which is better for everyone). The ladies were extremely friendly, hardworking, and very efficient. I've never seen the place look so nice. Jadwiga provided the best rate, most thorough cleaning, and was the fastest. Absolutely wonderful overall. K&J Cleaning is my 1st choice!

everthing she cleaned was done well started upstairs and then downstairs was fast .

We purchased K&J' services as part of the daily deals advertised via Angie's list. It took a week or so before I was able to schedule a housecleaning, which we suspect was due in part of the number of purchases made through the daily deals offerings. In addition, their email address posted on their website was inactive so the only way to contact them was through the posted phone number. The housecleaners were an hour late but notwithstanding their untimeliness they were very nice and polite. The cleaning was thorough and satisfactory although we think there must have been a mixup in communication because we had anticipated that they would bring their own supplies including a bucket for cleaning the floors but they did not bring supplies. Luckily we had sufficient supplies on hand. We didnt have a bucket though and they ended up using a garbage can as the bucket.

I was extremely happy with the work K&J Did. They responded to phone calls, and communicated ahead of time that they were running a little bit late (the area I live in has a lot of traffic so it was definitely understandable as it was right around rush hour). The two ladies who came to clean my apartment were fantastic. They were helpful, they spoke with me about the the areas on which to focus, and scrubbed my apartment from top to bottom. They even stayed a few minutes after to finish up a couple of things they wanted to finish. The work completed ranged from a deep cleaning of the bathrooms, sweeping, mopping, washing, and dusting areas of my apartment I didn't even know had dust. They deep cleaned my sinks and stove top as well, and even moved the furniture to get the dust that was underneath. In short, my apartment looked like it did the day I finished moving in. Absolutely superb work, and I would not hesitate to call them again. Highly recommend these ladies!

I purchased this as an Angie's List Big Deal. Unfortunately when I emailed the company to schedule the cleaning the email bounced back as it is no longer a valid email address. I called the phone number(s) given and left 3 voice messages and have still not had any response. I also called Angie's List helpline to see if they could help me contact the company, I spoke to someone who said they would call back in 2 days....that was 5 days ago. Still no response from either company.

bought the deal on angies list to try out the company. Judwiga came with her colleague Stella - they were thorough and did an excellent job. They were also very friendly and wanted to be sure all was how I liked. I will definitley call again. Judwiga quoted for cleaningmy home, and while I may not use them weekly (just moved into new home so trying to save some $) I will definitely use K and J next time!

Nice ladies, but they did a very poor job. I had to leave while they were working, when I came back I immediately noticed some of the obvious spots in the bathrooms while they were still there and had them clean those, but after they left we just kept noticing more and more of their poor job for the next week as we were slowly exploring our space and growing into it. Some examples of things left dirty - the grime that accumulates around the faucets, light switches, kitchen cabinet handles, etc. Would not hire again.

I hired the K & J crew to come by and do a professional cleaning of a rental for a client, and they did a beautiful job. They were enthusiastic and went above and beyond what I expected; they even came back to touch up a few minor details at no charge. The price was also great for the quality of work. I will be hiring them in the future for any house or apartment cleanings in Chicago, no doubt.

I purchased a Big Deal Coupon on Angie's List for this service, so the price was very fair. I have a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment. The owner was very responsive and came for the cleaning along with another lady. I explained what I wanted cleaned, and what I wanted avoided (fragile glass). The owner was just wonderful. She cleaned beautifully, went under rugs, removed sofa cushions to vacuum, and paid close attention to details. The other cleaner who accompanied her did not seem to understand English and even tho everything was presumably explained to her, she needed just cleaned surface and needed to go back and complete what she missed. As an example, the toilet paper roll in the guest bathroom was empty. There was a clean roll sitting right next to it. She didn't think to even put it on, but more importantly, there was a pile of dust and dirt in the toilet roll holder which was not even wiped down. That said, once I pointed it out she went back and did a thorough job...I just thought some things were obvious and I don't enjoy policing my help. After about an hour and a half, another lady came to clean. She was superb, and if I were guaranteed she and/or the owner would come back, I would definitely use this service again. I will likely give this service another chance because nothing I requested went undone. They aimed to pleased and I couldn't ask for more than that. For $5., they will bring their own material and I think that's probably worth it, because by the time I washed and folded all my own rags, I probably would have given someone $5 to do it and use their own products.

K and J Cleaning did an amazing job cleaning my apartment. It was spotless when I arrived home and they cleaned every nook and cranny. They cleaned areas that past cleaning services did not clean well. I had started to think I was the only one that noticed these areas needed cleaning, but K&J cleaned it all. They arranged everything in such a nice way as well. Things were sparkling and I was very happy with the results. I would recommend them to anyone for cleaning and I look forward to having them clean my apartment again!

We had a great experience. We have a 3 bed/3 bath 2,300+ sq. ft. duplex in East UK village, with hardwood floors throughout. We also have two kids aged 2 and under, as well as a big black dog that sheds a lot. On about 7/9/12, I purchased a coupon available through Angie's List which entitled me to 3 hours of cleaning for $75. My wife and kids were out of town, so I decided to use the coupon to give the house its first real deep cleaning in two years. On about 7/11/12days after I purchased the coupon, I talked to Jadwiga, one of the co-owners of the company. I explained what I wanted and asked that they come before Sunday, 7/14/12. Jadwiga worked her magic and agreed to come on Friday, 7/13/12, along with another cleaner. Jadwiga and the other cleaner, a fabulously hard-worker named Stella, arrived at my house at 7:25 a.m. They instantly went to work. I provided most of the materials that they used, but they brought their own rags and, I believe, stainless steel cleaner and a couple of other items. Jadwiga and Stella worked tirelessly. After each portion of the house was cleaned, Jadwiga would review their work with me while Stella moved forward. They moved all of the furniture in order to clean under and around everything. They picked up all of the counter-top appliances and knick-knacks on the granite kitchen counters in order to get every crumb and smudge. Although they did not clean the blinds or the refrigerator, they told me that they just did not have time to do so. I acknowledged that it would take them at least another hour or two, so I'll have them do that the next time. They did clean my microwave, oven, and range, however. After they had cleaned for 3 hours, Jadwiga left to go to another site. Stella stayed on for an additional 70-80 minutes to finish the last couple of rooms (we have endless wooden floors, so it took them a lot longer than they anticipated) before Jadwiga returned to pick Stella up. I paid an additional $30 for Stella's extra time and as a way of showing my appreciation for their hard work and willingness to clean my house on short notice. They did an absolutely phenomenal job and I intend to retain their services on a monthly basis.

Overall..Well I was supremely pleased with their work, the place was spick and span, granted I do have a studio. But the Before and after results were just priceless simply because I dont have the time to do alot of what they did. They arrieved on time, gear in tow. Sufaces were cleaned, the bathroom was cleaned, living area vacummed and cleaned. Cothes put away, shoes arranged neatly and tidily, garbage taken out. like I said, they were awesome, efficient and simply priceless!!!

I hired Jadwiga and her company to do a thorough cleaning of my two bedroom condo. She and Stella were a little late because they couldn't find parking but Jadwiga called me to let me know they are running late so that was fine. Once they came in, they worked very efficiently and quickly and I was thoroughly impressed with the amount of work they were able to accomplish in the limited time they had, and the quality of the work. They cleaned the bathroom top to bottom, cleaned baseboards throughout, handwashed the floors. I was most impressed that they moved all the movable furniture to clean under/behind it. All in all, the condo looked amazingly clean afterward and I will gladly hire these ladies again in the future. They were pleasant and extremely efficient, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a cleaning service.

It was for an already pretty clean and empty unit I was preparing for renters, so just a basic cleaning but they showed up early and did an excellent job! They were very nice and I would call them again!

It was our first time using a housecleaning service, and it was fantastic. Two friendly, extremely hard working women showed up on time, and knocked out our disgusting bathroom, filthy kitchen, family room, living room and dining room in about 2.5 hours. Oh, they also hand scrubbed our hardwoods! Best $100 (80 plus tip) we've spent in quite a while. The best part? I called K&J at noon on a Friday and they were here at 8am the next day. It was great. OH! our dog is thrilled too, because of all the lost bones and balls (treasures) that were rescued from under the couch.
