Description of Work: Replaced 8 Windows. The Windows seem ok. Had a issue with one and they honored guarantee to replace within reasonable period of time. Biggest complaint is with install crew. Not professional, they did a bad job cleaning up which is not good if you have kids, and primary language was Eastern European. If your biggest concern is reasonable quality for a reasonable price consider using them. Be warned that sales people do use some hokey tactics, and take too long.

Description of Work: This company sent a sales rep to my house, from which I purchased Windows from. However they made the Windows without verifying with my township, they did not follow the egress regulations. I believe this should be day one stuff, know your township egress. When I tried to contact them regarding the issue I kept getting the run around, I had to call supervisors/majors and record all my phone calls. I had to goolge who owned the company and guessed different email address until I worked with the Vice president of the company. This individual (The vice president came off very rude and talked to me as if I was uneducated of a peasant ) I was hoping to have the Windows installed before winter came, not the case. | |However I was able to obtain a refund. I would stay far away from this company as possible.

 + 8 moreJoe is in the designer room and provides the pictures and specs before the project begins. All cabinetry, faucets, tile , etc. was received before the project began, as not to waste the customer's time waiting for products. There was a supervisor, Dana, who oversaw the work and was very professional. We were informed on a daily basis as to the progression of the work, if problems with plumbing, electric, etc occurred and what solutions could be offered as well as the price. The bathroom was gutted within one day, and there was a clean up each evening. The other rooms were covered with plastic and taped to minimize dust and other particles. The quality of the carpentry, tiling, drywalling/taping and painting was excellent. We were very pleased with the finished project. We had purchased a new fiberglass door in 2010, but had a problem with the seal on the glass. The whole door was replaced, no questions asked and no extra cost. Homewerks stands behind their work.
Description of Work: We have used Homewerks in 2010 also for our bathroom remodeling. The second bathroom was done in November 2011 because we were pleased with the results and professionalism from Homewerks.

 + 0 moreThe crew of 2 showed up right on time and immediately got to work. These guys were the hardest working guys I have seen in ages. They didn't even take a break until they were almost done. They got the whole job done and cleaned up in about 8 hours. I was very pleased with their work and I am very impressed with the quality of the doors and windows, I just love them!
Description of Work: I had 8 new double hung windows installed and 2 new entry doors and 2 new storm doors.
