Original appointment they were late by approximately two hours. Showed up at 5:00 pm to install when it was getting dark and at dinner time. Had them re-schedule later date.

Called Window Works at 4:30 pm to ask about getting an estimate. They said they could have someone come over around 6:30 pm. I was initially impressed. Salesman arrived on time and spent until 8:30 pm explaining about their products and service. Left for 30 minutes so we could have dinner and came back and stayed from 9 pm until after 10 pm trying to convince us to use them for our siding and windows. Refused to provide a written estimate. Did not provide list of references. Played games with pricing. showing us a high price (they called this the "good for 1 year" price) and then offering first 25%, then 30% and finally 35% off to get us to sign a contract the same night. "sign now or this price is gone forever" Could not do the stone work that we wanted. Wasted 4 hours of my and my wife's time. Everyone else who gave us an estimate managed to do it in around an hour. I read Window Works Angie's List reviews, so I expected the "high pressure sales" that is mentioned in several reviews. I have no problem saying no to salesmen so I didn't think it would be an issue. Their tactics here are very deceptive and manipulative. They show you a high price as the one year price and give various discounts until you think you are getting a good deal and then threaten to take away those discounts if you do not sign a contract that night. I had already scheduled other estimates and had contractors take measurements and promise to send me estimates that I had not received yet. It would have cost them nothing to give me a decent price, even if it was only good for 2 weeks or a month to put some pressure on you to make a decision, they went with the all or nothing, I'm taking my ball and going home approach to negotiating. They also did not provide a written estimate with the required detail on exactly what they would be doing to my home for the money I was paying. The "estimate" they wanted me to sign and pay a deposit on says "24,623 2/27/2015 good for one year siding soffit/facia gutters windows" and that is it. I will never do business with Window Works because of the way this "estimate" wasted my entire evening and how the pricing was handled.

This was one of the best buying experiences I have had yet. The sales rep was very nice and knowledgeable, installers were very professional and efficient. The price included ability to finance as well. Very smooth experience from demo to install. The product itself....cannot rave enough about them! They are awesome!! I have an older home that had single pane windows with storm windows. Now I have beautiful windows that keep the home warm and the noise reduction is amazing. Overall value was completely worth it. I will use them in the future if I need anything else they can provide. Hands down one of the best companies I've come across on all ends.

I was given this referral from a friend at work. It was a great experience from beginning to end. They explained in detail their product in a language you could understand. Their windows are superior and you don't have to worry about this add on or that add on. The installation went very smoothly and they even replaced some rotten wood by the patio door. After the installation -- on the same day a representative of the company came out to make sure everything went well. In all I had 7 windows and an oversized slider door. What a difference with my gas bill! Can't wait to get the other windows done.

The storm doors were suppose to be somewhat energy efficient thickish with 2 panes of glass, air sealed at the edges of the door with a bottom threshold. The storm doors were somewhat heavy, but you could see cracks through them. Nothing was air sealed, I had to complain to get them back out, and walk them through all the holes in the storm doors. There was only one pane of glass.

They were excellent 'salesman' but fell short in delivering a formal pricing quote- which they never did, or in providing references. Based on the informal pricing they provided and their sales pitch and eagerness to offer even 'better pricing', I was seriously considering them. I dropped them from consideration when after waiting over 8 weeks for references (and at least 5 follow ups with them clarifying that I was waiting on references, and their commitment that they would get them to me), they contacted me stating they had references that they would send me but they were only drive-by references and I could not contact the homeowner. They said that it was their policy not to give out names of homeowners/references that I could contact. I told them that I really wanted to do business with them, but with no references I was dropping them from consideration. They are very 'sales oriented' in a negative way, and I would not do any project with them unless they are able to provide multiple references that you could contact. I would also not accept their initial pricing (which they gave to me very informally) as their model is set-up to wheel and deal....they even proactively contacted me wanting to schedule a meeting with their manager so they could offer even better pricing (when pricing was not even an issue, I was just waiting on references).

They were fabulous. They were great. They did a tremendous job. They were so neat and tidy. We got a couple of other estimates. They were so professional when they came to do that initial visit for the estimate that we contracted through them. We were tremendously happy and they did a great job. Every day that we use the door, we are so glad that we called them. We would definitely use them again.

The in-home sales presentation was somewhat high pressure. We purchased two picture windows, with an estimated time of installation between 4-6 weeks. They were ready in 4 weeks. The installer was courteous and flexible when he called to schedule installation. Two installers arrived on time and installation was done quickly and neatly. We are very pleased with the quality and appearance of the windows. Good customer service...we received a follow-up call a week later to make sure we were satisfied. Aside from the high-pressure sales pitch, it was an overall good experience, and I would use this company again.

I used WindowWorks before and will, most likely, use them again for window replacements. Their windows are good quality and the price was also good (at least the deal that I was able to get). In my case, the installers that came out were first rate. It is a key reason of why I'm happy with WindowWorks since even the best windows are worthless if the installation is not done right. The installers were prompt, professional, and very good at their trade. They were detail oriented and wanted to make sure I was completely happy with the installation. So, I gave an A for the product and the installers. The B marks are for the office people I had to deal with toward the end. Since WindowWorks has been advertising like crazy, I'm assuming in order to keep up with the volume of business, they had to quickly hire people. And that's the problem. The initial sale and setup I did was with experienced folks but toward the end I dealt with the newbies, who were not professional, lacked product knowledge, and I generally did not want to deal with them (good thing is I only had a couple such interactions). We'll see if WindowWorks invests in the right people and trains them right next time I need windows. If they do, I will buy from them again but if I'm not able to talk with someone experienced, professional, and customer focused, I will take my business elsewhere.

lThough it was nearly two months from the time we contracted until the work was finished we couldn't be happier with the result. The two installers who came out were extremely professional and took a great deal of pride and care in their work. They finished in two days and kept the worksite orderly and thoroughly cleaned up before they left. They did several additional procedures at the contracted price to insure a quality job. This is the second time we have used Window Works and we will definitely use them in the future should the need arise.

I was the worst customer ever... I was never home, slow on my paperwork and generally not available to keep this process on track. The folks at Window Works were patient with me but still managed the process for my by calling me with gentle reminders to fill out paperwork, submit permits, schedule appointment. That is the customer service component that you just don't get everywhere. Good customer service is part of their company culture. And, they make really good window! I have had water between the window slats for 3 years. Window Works was doing widows in the neighborhood and stopped by my house on a sales call. When I asked for a quote, I really expected to see a much higher price.I didn't think twice about signing the paperwork. I am every pleased with my windows, the people and the entire experience!

They did a good job and they come back if you have a problem.

The sales person was knowledgeable. The company had the 26 windows manufactured on time. The installation crews were on-time, professional and even cheerful (laughed and sang songs). They cleaned up extremely well after their work. We were so pleased we had them come and do an additional 3 windows. We may well call them back for more next year (we have a lot of windows!)

Very nice windows. Replaced a picture window, 2 in the basement, and a semicircular in a bathroom. They all look fantastic and installed quickly and professionally. The only thing I disliked was he cost and sales pressure. I think the windows where tops though.

It went well, the guys were there for a few days and were neat.

11/06/2013 - Several months ago at one of the 2013 Area Expo shows this past spring I talked with an individual from Window Works on that I was thinking about new windows for a second home I own forty miles away from my primary home. They called several times to set up an appointment with me to meet with someone to give me a quote for the windows. But because I couldn't see on when I would be able to get there, I finally begged off and informed them that presently I had several other projects going that needed to be done first and I would not be able to do new windows right now but would consider them in the future. This past Monday evening they called again to see if I was still interested in having someone get with me. Finally after some discussion, as the second home is almost an hour from my primary home, I agreed for a 10:00 am Wednesday morning meet at the second home. They called to confirm on Tuesday morning and the individual on the phone asked to confirm that both me and my wife would be there. I informed the individual that my wife would be at work and would not be able to be there. After some further directions to the property the meet was confirmed for Wednesday morning at 10:00 am. The salesman was quite prompt in arriving at second home. He asked if my wife was there and I informed him that she would not be there as she was working. He informed me that there was some low pricing going on but would be over by the end of the week. I informed him that didn't matter so much as I was not going to make a decision today, as I intended to get 2 or 3 more quotes before making a decision. I asked if he could go ahead and check the windows, show me some options they provided and give me an approximation of what it would cost. He informed that he would have to go back to his car to gather the information. Upon his return he didn't have anything other than his original notepad. The salesman asked if we could meet at my primary home so he could present to both of us. I informed him that wouldn't be happening as even though I would be letting her know what was going on it was going to be my decision. Even though he himself had driven 1 1/2 hours one way, he refused to provide me with any information on what they had to offer or to even measure the windows. I see by another review in Angie's list that this may be a policy to have all owners present, but they must not have wanted the work even though it entailed all eleven windows in the home, one of which was a large living room window. They need to realize that having all owners present is not always possible. Besides the salesman wasting 3 hours in his day, they wasted mine. I do not recommend them due to this experience of no quote or product information.

Everything was fine. Their prices were reasonable as we had another estimate to compare it to. They cleaned up very well after them on the most recent visit. I would recommend their services to others.

I was satisfied with the door however the price was too high. I told the man who came out that I wanted two locks on the door. I would recommend that any future customers have a clear understand on the work that is to be done.

We are very happy with them and have had no problems. They cleaned up well after themselves. My daughter has also used their service and was very happy with them.

The work was completed in a timely manner. Getting the windows in went smoothly. They cleaned up well after themselves and I felt comfortable having them in my home. I had received one other estimate from a company I had previously done business with and wasn’t entirely happy with, which is why I decided to go with Window Works. I liked the quality of their work better than the other company I had worked with.

Everything was fine. They were reasonably prices. They were on-time and cleaned up well after themselves. I am thinking about using their service to replace a bay window.

They have a very strict customer service policy which is rigid and inflexible. The policy does not seem to be friendly towards people that work. Maybe most of their customers are retired or house wives? I spoke with someone on Monday morning and made an appointment for Tuesday (the next day) on my lunch hour. They told me that someone would call me that same Monday afternoon to confirm for the next day. I explained that I had meetings all afternoon but they insisted that the appointment would be cancelled if I did not answer. I had to make special arrangements with my boss to answer the darned call - so annoying- am I really going to forget in those few hours? Then, the guy came out on my lunch hour. He showed me a sample and measured. However, my time was up and I didn't have time to wait for the actual quote on the spot. I asked him to email me the quote. He said this was against their policy but that he would do it. I never received the quote. The customer service people have called me 3 times to see if I am happy. I told each one that I never received the quote. I also contacted them on their instantchat to tell them I never received the quote. They have admonished me several times for circumventing their system of never emailing quotes. I think it's kinda funny that they keep calling me yet I've never received a quote. No way in Hades would I use this company after this. They are not considerate of my time.

I called her to ask where the quote was and never got a response. IThe only thing I could guess is because we weren't goinh to purchase that night they didn't want anything to do with us....
