Doug was professional and well versed regarding his products. He came out & discussed what was wanted. He provided the choices of blinds & colors. After his initial visit we changed what we wanted. Doug provided a new quote without hesitation. He was a pleasure to work with. Not only did he install the five blinds in our family room, but he also installed one of the blinds that was removed in a bedroom. You can tell Doug takes pride in his work.

Doug Johnson was amazing. From the beginning, he was professional and courteous. He was extremely knowledgeable and helped us pick out the right blinds for us. He stayed in touch until the blinds came in, then scheduled an install for the next day. He had them up in no time and asked if we had any questions, etc. He even removed the old blinds from our home since our trash pick up wasn't for another week. Doug was truly a class act and we are going to hire him again to do our upstairs windows. We were thrilled with his professionalism and will be referring him to our neighbors and friends as well. I got the name of this company from Angie's List. I chose him based on good reviews. I called him and set up an appointment for an estimate. He came out and gave us an estimate which we accepted. We liked that he made color suggestions but allowed us to make our own minds up about the final decisions. We gave a deposit and waited for the orders to come in. He took down the old blinds and installed the honeycomb shades first. The valances took longer because the actual place making the valances were backlogged with other orders. He came out a second time to do the valances. We are very satisfied with Doug and his work. We will use his company again and highly recommend him!

Working with Doug was one of the best decisions we made during our renovation process. Doug is very knowledgeable about window treatments, a reliable business owner and does installs wonderfully. He carries great selections and knows exactly how the products will look and function - their pros and cons in individual cases. Doug will not try to sell you the most expensive, rather he offers options to fit your needs at various price points. He also stands behind his products - so that you could still call him if you need adjustments or repairs down the road. I can't say much about Doug's pricing as his was the only quote I asked for. However, Doug promised that his pricing was competitive and he offered Angie's List members a discount. In short, Doug is the contractor to go to for window coverings.

Doug was prompt, professional and is very good at what he does. Also, his price was about 20% less than Budget Blinds.

Doug was prompt and professional. I intended to order valances and shades for my kitchen and laundry room, however, Doug said I probably would be happy with just shades. I was impressed by that, because he didn't attempt to sell me more than I needed. He was right, I am happy with just shades. I hadn't purchased shades or blinds in a long time, so I relied on his expertise as to what I needed. He did not try to sell me more the expensive shades. I can't say how his prices are because I didn't compare. He had them installed in no time and I am very happy with them!

The process was excellent from start to finish. Owner, Doug Johnson listened to our needs and provided a great solution by recommending Solera Soft Shades. We were looking for a new look that would also provide additional privacy, which we didn't have with our old shades. Doug was very responsive to our design ideas. He had a good selection of Hunter-Douglas and Greber products. We placed an order with him. The window treatments took about 4 weeks to arrive. Doug installed the window treatments. He did a fine job. These window treatments are very common and standard items. I was surprised at the cost. But these items are pretty much the same all over. I would use Suburban Window Fashions, Inc. again if I needed window treatments.

We liked his promptness. He came quickly. The shades were here quickly and hang quickly. It was all within a matter of less than three weeks. He just did what he promised.

fine. hard to schedule with him if you work. Hours were not easy and had to change them 2 or 3 times. didn't always get the e-mails i had sent him. ordering hunter douglas is pretty much a no-brainer. Always quality products. install was fine once we could agree on a time. No issues. cleaned up and took with the old shades and all the packaging. As i was not in a huge hurry,this was not an issue. would probably use him again

It was very good. They were prompt and they did good work. We had them out twice for two different sets of windows. My interaction with them was fine.

Doug installed our faux wood blinds quickly and efficiently. He even went out of his way to make sure the product packaging materials were recyled (which is a big deal for me) as our recycling pickup was the day of installation.

He is a personable individual, who is obviously well-trained to offer customers suggestions (when asked); his installation of our kitchen blinds was quick and perfectly executed. He's well deserving of 'A's' across the board! We will not hesitate to contact him when we are ready to tackle the windows on our enclosed front porch!

And also with Suburban Window Fashions there's no arriving late, or not showing up at all, or shoddy workmanship that seems to be the case with so many others...none of that. Suburban's the best!

It went wonderfully! Doug was very knowledgeable and helped me to find the right shutter style for my home. When I told him that the Hunter Douglas roman shades were too pricey for me, he went out and found a contractor who could make exactly what I was looking for for a much more reasonable price. Doug is great! He has worked in this industry for years. The biggest thing I appreciated with him was his patience. My husband would go back and forth trying to decide what we wanted. He never pressured us or made us feel rushed. His installation was great everything looks perfect and works! I joked that he could be a marriage counselor with his calm manner. It is nice to work with someone who takes pride in his company and what he does.
