Good price, very happy with the blinds installed one month ago. Timely, punctual. The new blinds are great, and Doug quickly narrowed our choices to the right product, no pushing of high end items we didn't want or need. Installation was orderly and efficient.

I needed new shades for my toddlers bedroom. Mr Johnson arrived with a broad selection of samples. I liked the materials so much I decided to replace my living room and master bedroom shades as well. I selected Hunter Douglas Soft Touch motorized shades. Lead time of several weeks was acceptable with updates on progress provided by text. On installation day Mr. Johnson arrived on time. Installation was painless: accurate, no mess, and completed by mid-day. Really appreciated Mr. Johnsons thoroughness, I am referring him to other people in my building. Model contractor.

A wonderful job, the gentlemen came out and measured and offered many choices we ordered all materials from him and then he came out and installed all to our specifications. Great job, wife is very pleased. Also he made very valuable suggestions.

Another great experience and beautiful window coverings! My husband and I were extremely pleased with the window coverings in our study and great room supplied earlier in the year by Doug of Suburban Window Fashions. So we decided to also replace old blinds in the kitchen eating area with beautiful new white Normans louvered shutters. We also chose a Hunter Douglas Duette Power honeycomb top-down/bottom-up design shade in gray for the master bedroom window that has both a remote and wall power unit. The prices were great and we love the look and quality. Plus Doug is a pleasure to work with!

The experience with Suburban could not have been more fulfilling. The estimate was accurate and fair, and the service was performed in a timely and professional manner. The blinds dramatically enhance the appearance of my home. At the conclusion of the installation, I regretted I did not have more work to offer Doug. My husband and I had recently moved from California to Illinois and needed new window coverings for our townhome. We chose Suburban Window Fashions because of their very positive reviews. And Doug exceeded all expectations. I knew I wanted grommet drape panels to cover out great room windows that already had blinds. Doug supplied many sample books of fabric colors and textures as well as showed me various grommet and pole sizes and colors with the pros and cons for each and drew up custom plans for each. I could not be happier with the results. Doug listened to all my thoughts as well as supplied ideas. The end results were as though he had read my mind but improved upon it! As for the deck slider covering, I had no clue what to do. Doug made some excellent suggestions and I chose the Hunter Douglas Applause Vertiglide that stacks to the left and is almost out of sight when open. Finally, my husband wanted a shutter in the study. But an unusual one where both the louvers and each entire panel could open separately against the wall. Doug installed two stacked shutters that are amazing and just what my husband hoped for. We highly recommend Suburban Window Fashions. The quality is superb, the the prices with the Angie's discount are great and Doug has the patience of a saint!

A great experience! Doug's awesome and I would definitely hire him again. The entire process, from choosing the blinds to getting them installed, was easy as could be. The new blinds look great and are a major improvement over our old window treatments. Doug noticed a manufacturer error on one of the blinds and made sure they corrected it. I might've been able to live with the error, but he said he couldn't. I really appreciated that. Not his fault at all, but he made it right.

This was my first experience using Angies list and I have to say all went better than I ever expected. We needed blinds for our new sunroom and Suburban Window Fashions was perfect. Doug returned my calls immediately, brought the samples to my home and in a few weeks came back to install my new window treatments. Doug also cleaned up the garbage and cut up all the packaging. Blinds turned out amazing and go really well with the room. Even cut a couple as my floor is raised in one part. Doug was professional and quick with the install.

Doug came out and showed examples of the woven woods I requested. He answered all questions and provided a quote that was the best of 2 other companies. Window treatments came in within the timeframe he provided and he did an excellent job with installation.
