It was an excellent job and everything was cleaned up once they were done. I can't wait to bring them back to finish the rest of our house.

 + -1 moreHORRIBLE! NEVER HIRE THEM! The owner came and looked at what needs to be done and gave a quote in April and told me they were booked 3 weeks out. After confirming on a date, he called the evening before and canceled on us twice. His reasoning was other customers gave him more work than what was agreed and his did not realize his company had grown big and he doesn't have enough people. Is that my problem? Finally he came today morning, an hour late and says I have to pay him $500 more because he did not account for staining the deck balusters. Why would I pay for a half *** job? I have clear text messages on what needed to be done and had agreed upon. Seems like he was never interested from the beginning. He wasted 2 months of my time. Should probably change the name of your company to LOW QUALITY PAINTING. Don't take up a job if you cannot do it and don't change your quotes after you have agreed upon it. Probably pull this guy off your listing. People don't need to waste their time on such companies.

 + 0 moreSalvador and his crew were absolutely amazing. He was responsive when it came to the quote and gave me a fair price. I had about 2300 sq feet of ceilings to scrape and paint and a 4 day timeline to do it. Salvador noted that this was a lot of work to do given the time frame, but agreed to the work. His crew came in the first day and completed the scraping. He brought in the right number of workers to complete the job on time and within budget. When they were complete, they looked brand new, like there had never been popcorn there. The best part was the clean up. I had heard that this type of work was extremely messy, but they were able to contain the dust with the draping and then clean what dust was left. I would hire Salvador and his crew again for painting needs or other renovation work.

 + -1 moreHaving used Salvador and his team to drywall our basement ceiling, we knew his team was the right fit for our job. We were nervous with the extremely high price tags we received from other local contractors which to us were completely unreasonable and non-starters. Honesty, integrity and a great work ethic is what you will get from the High Quality Painting team. After our job was complete, we were overjoyed when we saw their trucks at our neighbor's house a street over just days later. We plan to use them for refinishing our deck and exterior painting once the weather is clear. You can't go wrong with these guys.
Description of Work: Both bathrooms upstairs, the master and guest needed a complete overhaul. The flooring in the first bathroom was causing the water to leak to the main floor when there was any sort of overspray or water spillage when taking a bath. The shower in the master was completely unusable due to a faulty shower basin that caused leaking to the carpet. Both bath showers were completely unusable. Other contractors had come in with extremely high prices with no guarantees that the price would not go up once we got down to the studs. Salvador came in with a fixed bid for construction materials and labor and stuck to it. We purchased all of the cosmetics including tile, paint vanities and fixtures. The guest bathroom was fairly straightforward. The layout stayed the same with a new shower, new tub, new tile floor, new vanity and paint. In the master, we flipped the shower and tub making a big, big shower with a bench and all new tile floors, new tub, new toilet, new vanity, paint, and a small privacy wall for the toilet. Our builder grade, original 80s bathrooms are now brand new, clean and classy.

 + -1 moreSal's team are top-notch pros. I have already hired them again to do a bathroom remodel and plan use them to stain my siding once the weather is better. I was amazed at how clean and precise the framing and drywall install was. The electrical was all cleaned up with recessed lighting installed, saving me money and the effort in finding another company or expensive electrician. The finish product was primed and ready to go making the painting a breeze for me.
Description of Work: Drywall and lighting for the basement ceiling. I had removed the drop ceiling only to find out the job was a lot bigger than I anticipated. New ceiling and recessed lighting - primed and ready for paint.

 + 2 moreWe were left high and dry after our original contractor bailed on us and decided to try and piece together the rest of a MBR bathroom remodel hiring out each of the remaining work, starting with the drywall. Enter Salvador and his amazing team. Not only did they give us a great quote on drywall, but they ended up taking on the whole project - drywall, tiling, installation, plumbing, etc. - and did an amazing job. They were on-time, worked throughout the day, communicated extremely well throughout and made some great suggestions. Most importantly they were able to get it done on time, something we never expected given how far behind our original contractor put us. I would hire these guys again in a heartbeat and plan on doing it again soon!

Description of Work: Sal and his crew helped me finished my basement after the previous company I hired dragged their feet for 6 months and ripped me off. Avoid EAGLE TOP CONSTRUCTION and/or DAN CREAGER. They have stolen thousands from many customers! Back to High Quality Painting. They did not ask for a penny up front, which was awesome! The guys were very reliable and would show up at 7:30 am every day and worked their butts off to finish my basement. The previous contractor had done framing and put up drywall. Sal's crew did the following on 1600 sq ft. -painted all walls, ceilings and steps coming down to basement -installed new handrails and posts -assembled and installed newly purchased IKEA kitchen cabinets -installed lighting, vanity, mirrors, toilet, shower in bathroom -installed tile in kitchen and bathroom in basement -installed ductwork for fume hood -installed and painted trim -installed backsplash in kitchen -installed shelving in pantry and above fridge

Salvador and his crew really went above and beyond to make sure that all of the new materials and paint colors matched the old ones perfectly. They were on time and on budget, they cleaned up after themselves, and they were also just really nice guys. I have more jobs for them and will be calling them again soon. Highly recommended.

 + 1 moreSalvador Garcia, the owner of High Quality, responded in a short time to my "Snap Fix" (Angies List) kitchen project. I read the good reviews about him on Angies List and after we met and he saw what had to be done in the kitchen and family room, we agreed on a date and time to start: January 4. He and his crew arrived at 7:30 and he explained to them what needed to be done. His crew: Neo, Eduardo, Louis, and Jose arrived everyday on time and quickly went to work. Projects got added on which they accommodated. They all hail from Guatemala and Mexico but speak perfect English. I can't say enough about their workmanship. They took such care and cleaned up the work site at the end of every day. They seem to enjoy working together and make a great team: professional, respectful and accommodating.

Description of Work: My husband and I used this company for a variety of repair & services: painting, drywall repair(water damaged from roof) and installation of the following: oak floors, stairway railings/handrails and ceramic tiles. Stairs were sanded & stained. Our ceiling was textured, they added a skim coating throughout & did some repair. Ceiling looks especially impeccable & smooth. We found Salvador & his assistants to be punctual, reliable, honest & reliable. At the end of each day, the working area was immaculately cleaned, taking with them any debris. The assistants greeted us every day and were still here at the end of the day to answer any questions or inquiries. They were very courteous & professional.

As they we were leaving I forgot I had a small area on the wall in my kitchen that need to be painted over due to having cabinets replaced. Withour a hassle they did it on the spot before they left! Great service. I have more projects to be done and they will be first people I call.
Description of Work: They installed two high (12-14 ft) ceiling fans in guest room and den/office. They had to run a electrical lines in both rooms as well and make a hole in the ceiling for fans then paint over the drywall.

 + 0 moreSalvador came and gave us a price to fix holes in our bathroom ceiling caused by a leak and several holes and channels cut in the family room ceiling that were made to install recessed lighting. Salvador's price was better than the estimate we received from a family member in the business (go figure)! In both rooms chunks of dry wall had to be replaced, spackled, sanded and made paint ready. Salvador's worker arrived on time, worked solidly and finished in one day. We had shrouded the walls and entertainment unit with plastic, but he covered the floor and there was minimal mess. Flawless finish! Planning to ask him back for more work.

We had gotten quotes from all Angie's list companies and while he was not the lowest bid, but not the highest either, what sold us was when he said he would have the interior of our house look beautiful. His team did just that. The painters were very detailed with their wall repair, sanding of surfaces, their removal of a soffit area in a bathroom and the entire paint job. They were very courteous and always on time. Each evening the paint crew cleaned up well and when they moved our furniture back they also vacuumed and cleaned surfaces. We are going to paint our exterior in the fall or next spring and High Quality painting will be our first call to get a proposal. These days it is a little harder to find a company which not over promise and under delivery. High Quality exceeded our expectations and we are completely satisfied with the entire interior painting project. It was a pleasure doing business with Salvador.
