Sears non home warranty has been very convenient, but it has gotten pretty expensive. It does work as advertised. You don't have to go through paying someone to come out to give you an estimate and someone else can let them in. They have qualified repair people and it's been a great convenience not to have to make decisions every time. The appliances themselves are reasonable priced, but the additional warranty is costly. We have been using Sears for about 20 years.

Purchase a new Trane XR80 - 100,000 BTU Furnace with a 20 Year Heat Changer Warranty. Contacted Sears 6/2012 regarding the warranty and was told by their Parts Department the MFG no longer makes the part and it's not availabe. I may need to buy a new furance. Spent over 30-45 minutes on the phone be bounced from one Rep to the next (Customer Solution, Parts, Water Heater, etc). Sears knows the part isn't available but wants to charge $75.00 for a Tech to come out and tell me the part is availale.

I chose to use Sears because I had bought things from that particular salesman before. They were fine and I didn't have any problems. The gentleman has always been good to me. I thought that the quality was not fabulous. It was for a condo that I was selling and it wasn't top of the line stuff. Their responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism were fine. I would probably use them again in the future.

They came out, were prompt, on time, and reasonable with the door. The guy was really nice and gave me some tips on other stuff with the garage that I have never before. They were great, but they haven't done the work done yet. They were very professional, came when they said they were going to come, and answered all my questions. I explained it was a rental and I didn't need all the color charts, because I didn't really care. I just want a durable and decent price range and that's what he gave me.

They are very good. In terms of responsiveness, they came right away. They were punctual. They are professionals. I am still using them.

I think they are dependable and have the same service people come back, which makes the experience more comfortable.

They are quick, good, cheap and they do a good job. I will use them again in the future.

They were great. The carpets looked as though they were brand new when they were done. Their price was fine. They did all the work which was adequate.

We had an appointment with Sears around the Memorial Day holiday weekend. On the day of our appointment, an automated service called to advise they would be late. However, they never showed up at all. They then rescheduled our appointment for 06/02/11, which was going to be handled by a subcontractor. The subcontractor also failed to show up at all.

They had good people to come out but I disliked the time limit they give to come out. I would use them again in the future.

Our kitchen is absolutely beautiful. Sears has provided very good service to go along with the beautiful kitchen. They were out to fix the refrigerator and dishwasher very quickly. There was no charge for their repair work due to the warranty.

I told them to do the roof first and they did the siding first. They disappeared for a couple days after they did the siding. If it would have snowed it would have ruined my brand new furnace. They would only stay for a half of a day when they were working. They had to take the storm windows off and they put them on the side of the house. They fell and broke when the wind blew. From the house to the garage the electrical wires were tangled so I wasn't able to get into my garage. I was very disappointed. They were only responsive to me after i complained with the BBB and the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture. I demanded that I get my money back for the roof since the siding experience was so awful. They gave me a limited warranty and the siding has seams. I wasn't happy with anything. I dealt with 5 people and it was very frustrating.

Overall, everything worked out well.

It took them about a month to start their project. We had asked that it been done within a three week period. They kept saying they were having delays with their shippers. I would have to call to find out what the status was. They finally told me they took someone else's order to use for mine because I threatedned to cancel after a month. The person who sold us the tile and carpet was used to doing only the kitchen. She didn't make it clear that we needed to add the trim at the bottom. They only added the backboard where it was already tiled in the bathroom, so my husband will have to go back and replace it around the rest of the room.

I knew what I wanted, it was on sale. It was ok I guess because I bought it online and had to pick it up. It was hard to navigate sears to find where to pick it up. There was not a lot of direction on the pick up.

Two men arrived at the stated time. They were not very willing to move furniture to clean underneath, but eventually moved what we requested. One rapidly put on an advance spray to loosen dirt. The other brought in the hoses from their truck, for cleaning fluid and vacuuming, doing a little damage to corners and newel posts in the process. While they cautioned me that some stains were so bad they wouldn't come out, I remember a carpet cleaner from years back that really worked hard to clean stains. The Sears men did not put any special effort into it. The carpet and, especially an area rug, does look brighter. Though I asked them to be careful with our newly painted walls, they chipped and scraped them a little. They also broke a leg of our sofa.

I originally made an appt w/Johnny on the Spot but after sitting around my house for several hours the service man called and asked me to reschedule because it was late. I got the impression that he wanted to go home. Because of their overall lack of customer service I called Sears. My appt was for 8am and James called me at 7:15am to say that he would arrive in 1/2 an hour and he did as promised. He moved furniture around for me and made my 8 yr old carpet look fantastic. You would never know that I've had two kids and a puppy. I am VERY pleased.

Sears has a great service agreement that covers all of the appliances that you buy there. It's almost like an insurance policy and I had it covering nine appliances. I pay this amount annually. The servicemen who have come have always been very professional, neat and courteous.

I USED THIS SERVICE ONCE BEFORE. IT COST A BIT MORE THAN EXPECTED BASED ON AN AD FOR A "SALE PRICE" BECAUSE I WANTED SCOTCH GUARD APPLIED ON THE HIGH TRAFFIC AREAS. THE WORKER CONVINCED ME TO GET SCOTCH GUARD ON ALL THE CARPETS BECAUSE THE PRICING WAS SUCH THAT IT WAS ONLY A LITTLE MORE EXPENSIVE THAN TO DO ONLY ABOUT HALF THE SQUARE AREA. THE WORKERS WERE VERY POLITE.

NICE PAYMENT PLAN FURNITURE WAS ACTUALLY DAMAGED WHEN BROUGHT TO HOME, BUT THEY IMMEDIATELY TOOK CARE OF EVERYTHING AND SENT NEW MERCHANDISE
