I found Emilia's on Angie's list and called and talked to Emilia. She set up a time to come out and look at the school to give me an estimate. The first cleaning was $110 (totally fair, given the state the school was in). Now two ladies come every other week and clean from top to bottom. They tell me what cleaning supplies they prefer. They usually can get the place done in 1.5 to 2 hours.

DO NOT USE THIS CLEANING SERVICE. They left us with $700 debt and shattered shower doors. According to the cleaning lady, the door "fell" while she was scrubbing the inside sliding shower door and proceeded to shatter into many pieces over the floor. We were not home while they were cleaning and do not know the truth. Her reasoning was that the upper rail support was loose, leading to the door falling & shattering over the toilet, and cracking porcelain bathroom tile on the floor. This created a disaster two days before our new renters were supposed to move in. Keep in mind this is an 8 year old building, very well taken care of, with excellent and sturdy construction, and the shower has been used daily and cleaned/scrubbed by 4 previous renters for the past four years without any problems. How the sliding glass doors "fell" while they cleaned are a complete mystery to us. How hard were they scrubbing to "push the door out"? Negligence in cleaning? Not being gentle but careless with glass? They were extremely defensive, blaming the accident on a weak upper rail support, never giving an apology or being remorseful for the door. Terrible customer service in handling the situation. I asked for insurance information and although their website states they have insurance, she would not give me her insurance information. DEMAND INSURANCE from any cleaning service! When we asked why they proceeded to clean the door if they knew the rail was weak they answered "we didn't know it was loose." In the end, the door & tile cost over $700 to replace, plus our time and pain of fixing everything. This was all out of our pocket because they did not claim any responsibility (which means anything that they may break in your house they will not claim any responsibility). They also still charged full payment, and when we checked up on their cleaning, STILL FOUND dirty window ledges, dirty doors (they refused to clean anything "outside" of the the home, meaning they won't cleaning the front door or windows when we had asked them too). I cannot believe we had to double check their work and still found an incomplete job. This condo was practically clean when they arrived, and they left it still dirty and damaged for the end total price of $700. The president, Emilia, handled the situation in an unprofessional manner. We know they are a small company and understand that they cannot afford to pay for the damage, however her accusatory manner of handling the situation left us extremely upset and not to mention was a huge pain to fix. Yes, if it was an accident I would expect a little remorse-it would make a person more likely to feel sympathy for the situation and not make it a big deal. I highly do not recommend using this service- if something goes wrong they will only upset you more, not claim liability, and you will pay for anything they break. It's not worth our time to go through small claims court- I would rather forget them and warn others!

Emilia's is thorough. My house feels CLEAN when they're done (even my shower which can be difficult to clean.) I like paying for the job, not the amount of time it takes them to do it. I don't feel like they rush to get done quickly. The first cleaning was slightly higher. $90 is the "maintenance" cleaning cost. She recommended I buy a new mop, and when I forgot, she did it for me and I reimbursed her. Very convenient.

They have been outstanding. The first time they came, the house hadn't been cleaned well for a few months, and needed extra work. Emilia brought extra help, and they spent extra time to get it done well, for no extra charge. Since the first time it's been one lady every week, who is quiet, nice, works hard and does a thorough, excellent job. We are very happy to have found Emilia's service, and would recommend them to anyone.

I found Emilia on Angie's List and gave her a call. She was able to schedule an interview appointment the first week. She was very thorough in going through the house and asking detailed questions about what we wanted cleaned and how we wanted things cleaned. Later that week she brought Margaret by to show her exactly what we wanted done. Margret has been cleaning our house for a few months now. She does a magnificent job! Everything in the house is spotless by the time she is done. I'm also amazed at how quick and organized she is in her cleaning.

I have been very satisfied with using them. Their price is excellent, their service is excellent and the cleaning woman who does the work is easy to work with, very cooperative, nice to have around the house and she's a very good cleaner. I have used another cleaning service before and I immediately noticed a difference after the new cleaning woman from Emilia's started. (We had to do a top to bottom cleaning when she first began.) Even though she speaks Polish, she's easy to communicate with & if there's something that's complicated, I can tell Emilia and she will pass it on to her. Just a really good experience. I will continue to use them.

I was surprised when she finished before her scheduled time. I did try to get the maid to stay longer but Emily was comfortable with her maid finishing in such a short time since the price is based on the job not on time. The maid left feeling bad, her last words to me were "too much money." So, at least she got it. If the cleaning was the best ever, it would make sense. But my usual cleaning company (who was booked), is more effective. They can clean the same area plus another bedroom and hallway more efficiently, with attention to detail (hand cleaning hardwood floors) for $60 and great customer service. I will just book ahead from now on. In addition: I have more concerns after reading the companies response. She implied that she used Windex on the whole house but I have a special cleaner for my hardwood and floor boards. I gave them directions in both English and Polish. The Windex was to be used on my granite and marble and I was never told it would be inconvenient to do this.

Emilia met me and checked out my house. She then brought over Margret and told her everything that needed to be done and showed her around. Margret worked very hard and was a cleaning machine. I have had her clean twice now and it was wonderful to come home from working to a clean and organized house. It is so relieving to know that I can get on with other important things in my life because my house is already cleaned and done! Well worth the money! My house looks great!

Eva is awesome! She goes above and beyond! She is amazing with my kids- she brings them little treats. They can't wait for Fridays! She has a good attention for details. My house is always gorgeous when she leaves- until my kids get home! I bought a Polish-English dictionary to help communicate with her. Even with the language barrier, she is very funny and we always find a way of communicating!
