Emilia's Cleaning Inc

I used Emilia for 3 months. It was fine in the beginning where the semi-regular crew still shows up. In the last 2 months, my house has been cleaned by crew who never cleaned my house. And the specific of my cleaning requirements were not documented and trained to new crew. I'm very busy with my work with 2 young kids. I don't have time to train the new crew every time. In the last 2 cleanings, only 1 person showed up with no knowledge of my requirements and without any advance notice to me. I found out when the crew arrived. When I brought this concern up to Emilia Zivoin, she acted very unprofessionally and notified me on the spot that they are terminating their services. I manage company facility management services with $50+ million spend. I can't believe a cleaning company owner behave so unprofessionally and gives attitude to their customers. If owner behaves this way, I can't say anything positive about the services and crews.

When they arrived, the cleaning was good. The overall problem was we could not consistently adhere to an agreed upon schedule. The problems varied from cancellations to late arrivals to no-shows. They cost 2x more than our former cleaners so our expectations were pretty high. In addition, we were asked to provide supplies which was fine but an added cost. In the end, they told us they could not provide a dedicated person to our home bi-weekly due to several staff changes. It was disappointing.

after exchanging emails for 3 days confirming schedule the day service was supposed to happen i waited at home for 1.5 hours, leaving several messages as no one showed up, only to be told by Emilia she had the day wrong. poor start and i did not keep appointment.

She arrived on time and did a thorough job. We were able to negotiate extra time to complete the entire cleaning. I was very pleased with the work done.

First appt...the person hired had an accident and couldn't make it. Rescheduled promptly but a different person. Could not communicate with her (language barrier). I was not happy with the quality of work...ring still around sink drain, crumbs on kitchen counter. Disappointed....I will not rehire

I almost cried when I saw how clean my house was. Anna was very thorough —she even managed to find my son’s missing watch; we thought we had looked for it everywhere. We have now hired Anna as a monthly cleaner through Emilia’s.

We contacted Emilia's Cleaning Inc in August and were surprised at how promptly we received a response. Anna was sent to us and arrived on-time. The place appeared spotless when she was done. We were very satisfied with her work and decided to continue with Emilia's Cleaning Inc. on a monthly basis. Anna is very nice, easy to communicate with, and really delivers a clean house. After a couple of cleanings, we noticed some areas of the house that needed some additional attention. These were reasonable, minor requests (within the scope of the agreed-upon services) that Anna accommodated with no issue. Emilia's Cleaning Inc. is a company that strives for exceptional customer service through timely communication, accommodating their clients, and delivering the quality product they advertise. We expect to continue using their services and would happily recommend them to our family and friends.

Great, responsive and thorough service! Been using Emilia's service for several weeks now (on an every other week schedule). Whenever I've reached out with an email inquiry, I get a response almost instantly. The woman who cleans our house does a very thorough and was responsive to my requests. I appreciate that they charge us a flat rate, as opposed to hourly. I think the rate is fair for the high quality of work and reliability!

First she wanted to know where the supplies were, I said you are suppose to bring your own and she said let me go to my car.(What?) I thought she did a good job and typed her $20.00. She left and I did not check anything. Then I found that in the bedroom she did not dust everything. The shelves that the TV was on. She did not dust or vacuum behind the table that I was using for a night stand, there are only three small legs and you can see through it and it is easy to clean all around it, nothing was touched. If she did not want to move anything she just dusted around it. In the hall way I have a hall table with a shelf at the bottom and she did not touch it. I asked her did you clean the top of the refrigerator and she said yes she did. No she did not nothing was cleaned as nothing was moved and the dust was still there. I have a shelf in the kitchen and she did not clean anything on the shelf. I had some splatter marks and nothing was cleaned. I am very disappointed as she had 4 hours which for what she had to do should have taken her 3 hours at the most. I am sorry that I tipped her and I am sorry that I used this service. I don't know how or why they got on Angie's list. Makes me hesitant about Angie's list as they are suppose to be checked out. I will not use them ever again. Very disappointed in Angie's list as well.

The ladies showed up late. They were polite but limited in speaking English so it was difficult to communicate with them. They did not want to use their cleaning supplies and appeared irritated that I didn't have any. I took the time to complete the questionnaire identifying what I needed/wanted done but it didn't appear to be shared with them based on what they cleaned. The point was to save me time from having to clean and I still had to clean anyway. It was a waste of my money.

Wonderful! From start to finish it was a pleasant experience and we were so impressed with the attention to detail.

We were able to initially contact Emilia's Cleaning without any problem, but subsequent attempts were difficult. After we were finally able to contact Alex, we managed to schedule the cleaning service. The cleaner who arrived was friendly, worked at a steady pace, was able to work around us without any problems, and cleaned everything very thoroughly. We were particularly pleased at the attention to detail that our kitchen received, including some hidden spots that don't often get cleaned. As such, we would recommend their housecleaning service, and are strongly considering using Emilia's Cleaning services again.

I was extremely disappointed and I told them I never wanted to see them again. The young lady that they sent didn't do half the things that needed to be done. Their price was average. Some things were good, most of them were bad. She arrived on time. The only thing I don't like is when you call these agencies now, no one wants to come to your house and look at it. Then you explain everything to the owners, and then when the person comes they don't know half of what was told and what needed to be done. She was right on time. I would never use this provider again. They wanted to send her back out, and I told them no. She should have done what she needed to do the first time. I didn't pay her the fee that they had requested. I wrote a check for a lesser amount. There was no question regarding that or any other comment after that.

It was a good job but not great. Very nice staff member and trustworthy. The work wasn't quality enough to equal the price.

We were very pleased with how clean the house was after a 4-hour cleaning session. We'll definitely hire again.

So far it's been great. They came out with a very fair price. They have been really good about communication and the actual cleaning service has been really good.

I have used them for a year. I leave messages and they won’t call me. They don’t tell me when she is not coming in. She is supposed to come in at 11:00 but sometimes she comes in at 12:00 or 12:30 and I am not warned. They could improve on the quality of their work. I have to tell her, make sure you do this, make sure you do that and she’ll do it but then she won’t do the whole thing.

They cleaned things I didn't even think about cleaning. I was just looking to have the dust removed and they went above and beyond and made my place look new.

I highly recommend using this company. My house looked fantastic. Setting up the appointment took a few days as we exchanged voicemails, but I will be hiring them again.
