I initially purchased a deal through this provider on 11/18 $100 for up to 4 hours of cleaning. It took 2 weeks to schedule an appointment. Emilia's was not responsive. When they did respond, responses were short and not helpful. There was no sense of urgency from Emilia's. Since you pay for the service up front, I was very concerned that I would not be able to book a date within a reasonable amount of time. Emilia's told me I would need to provide all products for cleaning, even though their page says they use ECO cleaning products, I was not offered that option nor was there any indication that they actually use ECO products. The employee they sent over was 20 minutes late to the appointment. I was worried they were not going to show. I never received a call stating the employee was running late. The employee did a good job. I was disappointed however, that I paid for 4 hours but only received 2 hours of cleaning. It made me feel like the "special" was a rip off. If it only took 2 hours to clean my house perhaps issuing me another 2 hour service or compensating for the duration of time would have been nice. After the employee left I never received any follow up call or action from Emilia's. Since I did like the employee that cleaned my house and despite being late she did a good job. I sent an email to Emilia's asking for bi-weekly cleaning quote. I then received an email saying Emilia's did not service my area.... I was very confused and asked if something changed since they literally just cleaned my house. They said yes, and that there were not any employees that could take on a bi-weekly cleaning of my residence. I'm very disappointed. The initial cleaning appointment was more or less for me to see if the service did a good job and if the employee they sent over was trust worthy. So it was basically a waste of an appointment. My advice is go with another provider on this site.... Emilia's clearly doesn't care if they get your business or not.

I have used Emilias cleaning for over three years. Emilia is great. My assigned cleaning woman comes every three weeks. She does a great job - cleans bathrooms, all floors, counters, dusts, vacuums and does any misc chore I suggest such as wiping shelves of refrigerator. The owner Emilia is very easy to reach and responsive to emails. I believe the price I pay is fair for the work performed.

Deep clean seemed to be a whirlwind of cleaning but came home to a very clean house (including baseboard). Deep clean ran us about $255. Our monthly cleanings are always a pleasant experience to come home to (clean house, made bed, scrubbed oven). When we do see Alicia, she is very pleasant and professional.

This was a big deal purchase. I think it was fine; my wife did not complain so I am assuming everything is good.

Emilia's Cleaning replied to my emails promptly and provided a contract explaining all the work to be done. Teresa arrived on time and was very friendly. She did a great job cleaning and making sure nothing was missed. We now feel confident showing our condo for sale.

We've been using Emilia's for well over a year now and are very pleased. Sylwia comes to our home once a month and does a spectacular job. Having one person dedicated to our home is a major plus. We never have to explain things over and over again--she just comes to our home, knows where all our supplies are, and gets to work. She pays attention to the details and our house is always left super clean and organized. Price is competitive, and Emilia is very accommodating with scheduling. There were some hiccups initially, and previous reviews from a few years ago might highlight this, but Emilia has taken every step to correct issues. Communication and scheduling are vastly improved, and I have no complaints whatsoever, especially over the last 12+ months. Highly recommended.

We had a plumbing emergency in our old condo and Emilia was waiting and prepared so as soon as we could get in and clean up after the construction to get our tenants back in, she was ready. In our current residence, she has regularly cleaned our 3 story townhouse for 4 years. She has been flexible for us with timing and day of the week depending on what is happening in our lives. She has been receptive to requests from us and always gotten things done for us to our expectations. We have and will continue to recommend her cleaning service to our friends and neighbors.

I have been using Emilia's Cleaning for several years. I first had the company do a move out cleaning in an apartment. The apartment was spotless and I got my full deposit back. After a year or two I contacted Emilia for regular cleanings of my current apartment. Emilia showed up to give me an estimate very quickly, within a day or two of my request. She quoted me a price of $60 per cleaning of my one bedroom apartment with cleanings every other week. The same woman comes to clean the apartment every time. She does an excellent job and leaves everything looking neater than when she got there. She does a full cleaning and even washes dishes. Emilia is very professional and has been flexible the times I have had to reschedule. Agnes, who cleans my apartment is nice and is dog-friendly so I do not need to crate my dog on days she is there. I keep a pretty messy apartment and find she straightens up as she cleans. I recommend this company to anyone who needs cleaning services. Emilia is easy to work with, her staff is great and the cost is very reasonable.

The deep cleaning they offer is excellent. I have had it done twice and was very happy both times. Was impressed with the details -- refrigerator cleaned, ceiling fans dusted, etc. We also get the monthly cleaning most of the time (this last deep cleaning was because we'd skipped a month). The monthly cleaning is less detailed but still good. The bathroom is always very clean which is the most important to me. They are on time and I give them my key with no worries. Compared to some cleaners it is a little pricey but I do not have to call to schedule every time; Emilia schedules, which is more convenient.

Emilia's crew is amazing! I started using them in Chicago in 2011, have moved 3 times and keep having them clean twice a month for me. Emilia's ladies are professional, respectful and do a great job cleaning. I always get notified if there is a change in schedule a head of time too. I highly recommend them!

First, I have to say, that I don't write reviews. I don't have the time.... However, in this case I have made an exception. Here goes: I specifically asked for 2 people to clean our home because I had a time crunch. On the day, one girl came 30 minutes earlier than told. She then tried contacting the other girl who was supposed to clean and finally got through to her and the owner of the company and learned that the girl's child was sick and she couldn't come. The girl that was here was overwhelmed at the thought of cleaning the whole house. She started moving but wasnt very thorough. About 1.5 hours later we learned another girl could come. I understand that the above situation can happen and you can't predict sickness, so on it's own, we would have let it go. However, the clean itself was sub standard. It was actually the worst clean we have had. A few reasons why: 1. A good scrubbing wasn't done in the bathrooms. I think the first girl was rushing because she thought she would have to do it all herself. 2. Pieces of rubbish were put in the toilets and weren't flushed. When i noticed some paper clips at the bottom of the toilet, i inquired and one of the girls took them out. 3. While the floor was mopped, it wasn't a thorough mopping and we can still see some liquid/old food residue in places. 4. Items were still left all around the house on top of other objects so they could get under. e.g. shoes, toys, boxes were put up on beds or benches to clean under, but they weren't put back in its place afterwards. So i had to go around the whole house and do that. 5. Above being noted, they didn't move other furniture like past crews have, to actually clean behind/under some things. I found little toys behind/under a bench that all cleaning crews have moved aside to clean behind. Rugs were not lifted up and cleaned underneath. 6. Rubbish bags were left outside our back door unbeknownst to us and this morning rubbish was scattered everywhere on our porch as some animals had torn them apart over night. The kitchen was cleaned the best and I believe it was the second girl who came later who did that. When I clean my house, I do a more thorough job than these people did. I'm sorry to write this negative review, but I wont be using these people again and want other people to hear of our experience so they can make an informed decision.

Stop listing companies that do not service my area.

very very good! our initial cleaning with Emilia's Cleaning went so well that we hired them for bi-weekly service. we could not be happier. maggie is our gal and she is wonderful. she comes every wednesday and does an amazing job. i always look forward to coming home after maggie has been. she is polite and thorough and it is very patient with our 2 crazy dogs. they will cater to your needs (for example, we don't need our gym or office done every week) as each customer is different. emilia is also easy to work with and very flexible. i would recommend emilia's cleaning service time and time again.

The cleaning service provided is top notch. Emilia's is extremely professional, responsive and arrives at the job site at the agreed upon time. I have used Emilia's on a regular basis for going on 6 months and expect to continue the service on a regular basis.

Emilia's was outstanding! They clean my place every 2 weeks. She takes pride in making sure everything is actually clean My place was SPOTLESS! I could have eaten off the floors. I am so happy when I come home after the place has been cleaned. I would recommend them to anyone!

We have the same housekeeper each time who does a great job cleaning our 3 bedroom home for our family of 4. Prices are reasonable, she does a thorough job and very reliable.

Emilia, Ania and Patricia did an excellent job! They cleaned years of dirt and grime, which couldn't have been easy! In the end, they needed an extra hour past our estimate, but I have no doubt it was needed. They even found some loose change, and left it on the table. The only reason for the B for punctuality, is that our appointment was changed twice (and we had a good drive to get there) and there was a mix-up with the starting time. Would hire them again and recommend them to anyone.

She got all of this done in 3 1/2 hours but I purchased 4 hours. As she did more than I asked for, I was not about to look for another 1/2 hour of work. Can she help it if she was efficient :) This would have take me 8 hours plus a back ache. Well worth the money.

Emilia's Cleaning is great at what they do. They are affordable and are very thorough. We began using them on a monthly basis in January 2015.
