I asked Dan to add another man, due to the number of boxes. They had us moved out and then moved in, in 5 1/2 hours including travel. The move went smoothly. The hourly charges were as quoted, with no surprises. I would use them again.

The office personnel were very pleasant and answered all of my questions. I got a quote and then called back later that day to book the move. A crew of three showed up exactly on time, brought the wardrobe boxes and other free wrapping materials as promised. They worked tirelessly, even though it was very, very hot. This was a young crew, but they worked hard and never complained. The crew was polite and nothing was damaged whatsoever.

They were excellent, hardworking, and had a very good price. They had so much to move, and there estimate was accurate. They also provided wardrobe boxes when we forgot them. The movers are very nice, very hard working, and very strong. All of the movers really cared about our things as if they were their own. I've seen movers that have less experience, and it makes all the difference to have people who really know what they are doing. I had a bad experience moving my piano on a previous move. They moved it perfectly. It was worth every penny! Thanks for such a great experience!

Great experience! The crew arrived on time. They were professional, efficient, and careful. As far as I can tell only one item broke, and from my perspective -- I was present when it broke -- the break was unavoidable. They are a little pricey, but well worth the cost. I highly recommend this moving company.

They were friendly and careful with everything. They had plenty of materials to protect everything and even called another guy so it would get done faster. They were great!

They moved our entire apartment on a hot summer day. They were quick, polite, helped us move furniture in the living room, and the estimate was very close. I chose them partly because they were sending five people instead of just four like the other companies. That made the move go much more quickly.

Both I and my boyfriend used A-Available for our move (we were combining households). They did an excellent job. They were on time and the team of 3 worked very well together. They packed up the old house quickly and drove to the new house and began to unload immediately, without even taking time for lunch. They asked where each item should go and carried some very heavy items all the way to the third floor without complaint. They were very polite, quiet and neat. I found no damage at all. My boyfriend had many paintings that he was worried about, but A-Available brought painting cartons and moved them all without incident. Also there was no extra charge for cartons or other supplie, as with some companies. Finally, we had to change the moving date at the last minute, and they worked with us to find a way to do it, despite the fact that they were very busy that weekend. The owners themselves answer the phone and are extremely helpful and polite. Overall, we were very pleased.

These guys were great! They were easy to work with from the beginning to the end of the project. They were on time both days. They communicated well. They worked quickly and carefully. I certainly recommend this company.

The crew (Ralph, Kirk, and Sam) arrived on time and got right to work. They asked questions about my furnishings that showed they'd been briefed on the details I'd provided while getting an estimate and making the reservation. Ralph, Kirk, and Sam were friendly, polite, and a pleasure to work with. It was a challenge to get my large entertainment center out of the condo, but they managed it with patience and good humor. Overall, the move went very smoothly and I was very pleased with the care that Ralph, Kirk, and Sam took with my belongings. I also was pleased that the actual move time was right in line with the estimate I was given on the phone.

Everyone was great. They were on time. They took good care of our stuff. My only complaint was, that the truck they brought was too small and as a result they had to make two trips which, needless to say, turned what they had estimated would be a 5 or 6 hour job into an 11 1/2 hour job (at $127 an hour for a 3 man crew). I wish that they had asked a few more questions, when we booked the job. Maybe we just have a lot of stuff for a two bedroom apartment, but if a ''full'' two bedroom place is close to the limit for what a standard truck can hold, they should say so or send a bigger truck. Still, they did a good job and I would use them again. And $1,500 didn't strike me as outrageous (but I was expecting to pay $700-$800).

I was very impressed with this company from estimate to completion of the job. The estimate was accurate, the guys were hard working and honest. We had a lot of stuff, and the guys did a great job moving everything. There was a couple of things broken, but I think that was due to my packing, and not their moving. The estimate said ten hours, and they were only 15 minutes off. The guys never stopped, even for lunch. They ate while they were working. We had four different estimates, ranging from $1500 to $3800. They were the cheapest estimate, and got the job. I would definitely hire them again.

The over the phone quote was very detailed and easy to understand, unlike other movers who tack on a number of extraneous charges. After ''phone shopping'' I requested an in person quote. Tom Fries came out and was very detailed, looking in every cabinet and closet. He sat down with me and went over the quote in detail and answered all my questions. I expressed my concern about moving into a newly constructed condo that would have fesh paint. He said he could not guarantee that they would not accidentally brush their back against a wall, but to keep additional paint on hand for any touch ups they would work w/ me to fix any perceived problem. I liked his honesty. I was quoted 4 men at $157/hr, estimated 8 hours, travel fee $78.50, and $930 to pack estimated 65 boxes. The quote was competitive with other companies and I felt he was being the most detailed and accurate in his estimating. They were my preference for movers, but they did not have my requested date available.

People answering the phone for a quote were personable and prompt and personal (they listened to what my particular situation was and did not just send an electronic email quote only). Sent a large enough truck and 3 good movers as I had a lot of stuff, located in 2 places on second floor apt and a large storage unit in the basement of the building. Also, when we arrived they unloaded in the alley and in the front to accommodate the building entry restrictions and the load placement. They put in an 8.5 hour day and barely stopped to take a drink. Lead person was professional in his approach.

Nothing was broken, very careful. They were super-friendly and stayed late finishing. They were very careful not to scratch the floors. If we move again, I will definitely call them.

The crew was very fast and polite. Took great care in making sure that things were in the right place. Would ask questions to make sure that things were on the right floor so I wouldn't have to carry anything up or down stairs once the were done. Even helped set up and move a few things around the house before and after. Well worth the money.

THEY WERE FANTASTIC. WORKED HARD AND QUICKLY, VERY CAREFUL AND EFFICIENT, HANDLING SOME AWKWARD FURNITURE. NOTHING WAS BROKEN OR LOST. ORIGINALLY IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE 3 GUYS, BUT ONLY TWO CAME TO LOAD, HOWEVER THIS WAS DISCOUNTED FROM FINAL TOTAL AND DID NOT SEEM TO MAKE AN UNREASONABLE IMPACT ON THE TIME IT TOOK. THE THIRD GUY ARRIVED TO HELP UNLOAD. (THEY WERE UNDERSTANDABLY BUSY AT THE END OF THE MONTH.) IT WAS THE FIRST TIME MY HUSBAND OR I HAVE HIRED MOVERS, BUT WORTH EVERY PENNY. GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS, THEY DESERVE IT!

THE 3 GENTLEMEN THAT WERE SENT TO WORK WERE TERRIFIC. THEY WERE COURTEOUS, ACCOMMODATING, PATIENT, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, RESPONSIBLE. THEY WERE ON TIME, PACKED AND MOVED EVERYTHING WITH CARE. THEY TOOK PRIDE IN THEIR WORK AND I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM OVER AND OVER AGAIN. WHAT A FIND - FINALLY MOVERS WHO ARE GOOD AND HONEST.

MY HUSBAND AND I WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THE FIRST ROUND OF MOVERS: BRIAN, JOSE AND DAVID. THEY HANDLED THE FURNITURE WITH CARE AND EVEN ROLLED OUT A MAT ON OUR KITCHEN FLOOR AT THE NEW PLACE TO PROTECT IT. DESPITE THE HUMIDITY AND HEAT IN LATE JULY, THEY WORKED VERY HARD AND IN AN ORGANIZED MANNER. IT COST US $522 FOR 4.5 HOURS OF WORK INCLUDING .5 HOUR TRAVEL COST. WE WERE SO PLEASED WITH THEIR PROFESSIONALISM AND THE COMPANY'S PRICE THAT WE WANTED TO HIRE BRIAN, JOSE AND DAVID AGAIN, BUT THEY WEREN'T AVAILABLE. JOE, ANDY AND GAVIN WERE EQUALLY HARD WORKERS AS THE FIRST SET OF MOVERS. HOWEVER, JOE, ANDY AND GAVIN HAD A LOT MORE WORK CUT OUT FOR THEM. THEY MOVED A LOT OF HEAVY MUSIC EQUIPMENT AND ODD-SHAPED BOXES FROM THE MAIN FLOOR, MORE BOXES FROM THE BASEMENT AND A COUPLE OF THINGS FROM OUR HOT AND STUFFY ATTIC. IT TOOK THEM 3 HOURS TO MOVE AND .5 TRAVEL TIME WHICH COST US $406. WE DID ENCOUNTER A MINOR PROBLEM WHICH ONE OF THE OWNERS RESOLVED QUICKLY. WE WOULD HIRE AA AGA

MY HUSBAND WAS HOME WHEN THE FURNITURE WAS MOVED OUT AND HE WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE TWO WORKERS. THEN I WAS HOME WHEN THE FURNITURE WAS MOVED BACK IN. THE TWO YOUNG MEN WHO MOVED THINGS BACK IN (MIKE AND MATT) WORKED VERY HARD AND THEY WERE EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL AND CAREFUL WITH OUR FURNITURE. THE GENTLEMAN I SPOKE TO ON THE PHONE WAS COURTEOUS AND HELPFUL. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM HIGHLY AND I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.

WE WERE THRILLED. WE REQUESTED THE SAME CREW FOR THE SECOND DAY, WHICH WAS ACCOMMODATED. THEY WERE ON TIME, EXTREMELY CAREFUL AND HARDWORKING, EASY TO COMMUNICATE WITH, AND VERY CONCERNED ABOUT OUR STUFF. THRILLED! THE ONLY THING I WISHED THE COMPANY OWNERS HAD HELPED WITH IS GIVING US A BETTER IDEA OF HOW TO TIP THE WORKERS. WE ENDED UP AT 15%, FYI.

WE HAD LIVED IN OUR OLD HOME FOR 17 YEARS, SO WE HAD QUITE A BIT OF STUFF TO MOVE! THE MOVERS WERE ON TIME, THEY WERE VERY HARD-WORKING, AND WERE EXTREMELY POLITE. IN ADDITION, THEY WERE ALL VERY HELPFUL, BREAKING DOWN THE BEDS AND SETTING THEM UP AGAIN AT THE NEW HOUSE, PLACING THE REMAINING FURNITURE WHERE WE WANTED, AND EVEN MOVING THE FURNITURE AROUND IF WE CHANGED OUR MINDS. BECAUSE OF ALL THE FURNITURE AND BOXES WE HAD, IT ENDED UP TAKING TWO TRIPS, BUT THERE WAS NEVER ANY SENSE THAT THESE GUYS WERE GOING TO SLOW DOWN! OUR NEW HOME IS BRAND-NEW CONSTRUCTION, WITH WHITE WALLS EVERYWHERE, AND NEW HARDWOOD FLOORS THROUGHOUT. THERE WASN'T A MARK ON ANY WALL, AND THE MOVERS TOOK EXTRA CARE TO BE SURE AND NOT SCRATCH OUR FLOORS. A AVAILABLE MADE WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN A TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCE VERY STRESS-FREE.

TERRIFIC CREW, PROFESSIONAL, ON TIME AND MET THE ESTIMATE EXACTLY. WILL USE AGAIN.

THE MOVERS WERE ON TIME. IT TOOK ALL DAY, AND TWO FULL TRIPS TO MOVE US! ALL 3 GUYS WERE AMAZING. THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. WE HAD TO TIP THEM WELL.

DAN, ONE OF THE OWNERS, SENT FOUR GREAT GUYS AND TWO TRUCKS BASED ON THE DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB. WHEN THEY ALL ARRIVED ON TIME, THEY GOT RIGHT TO WORK. THEY WRAPPED MOST OF THE FURNITURE IN BLANKETS AND PLASTIC, MAKING SURE TO ALSO BE AWARE OF THE WALLS IN BOTH THE OLD AND THE NEW HOME. THEY WERE ALSO INVENTIVE. MOVING INTO AN OLDER HOME MEANT THAT SOME FURNITURE WOULDN'T FIT UP THE STAIRS THE CONVENTIONAL WAY. IN ONE SITUATION, THEY PULLED A BOX SPRING THROUGH THE SECOND FLOOR WINDOW. IN ANOTHER, THEY SLID OUR DRESSER OUT THE WINDOW AT ONE ANGLE SO THAT IT COULD BE PULLED BACK IN AT ANOTHER ANGLE. UNFORTUNATELY, THEY COULDN'T GET ONE PIECE OF FURNITURE INTO ITS INTENDED DESTINATION, BUT THEY TRIED VERY HARD BEFORE GIVING UP. IF I EVER MOVE AGAIN, WHICH IS HOPEFULLY NEVER, I WOULD DEFINITELY USE A AVAILABLE MOVING.

IT WAS A THIRD FLOOR MOVE AND TOOK 8 HOURS. EVERYTHING WAS DELIVERED IN ONE PIECE WITH NO BREAKS OR SCRATCHES. VERY COURTEOUS, CLEAN AND PROFESSIONAL.
