A Available Moving Co. did a great job in moving me. The employees moved me without any damage to my things. They were very professional and explained what they were going to do and everything went according to plan. I would use them again if needed.

There were three guys who did the moving (can't remember their names now) and they were fabulous. This move took place on September 13, i.e. the day of the monsoon with lots of humidity. It was a HORRIBLE day to do much of anything outside. The apartments are on the third and second floors, respectively, so there were tons of stairs to climb as well. They moved everything carefully and kept it dry. They were friendly, professional and awfully good sports about everything, considering the crappy weather. They also finished sooner than they estimated and charged accordingly. I chose this company partly because they were close geographically, but mostly because they were so highly recommended on Angie's List. There were so many rave reviews that I didn't even comparison shop, I just called A Available and scheduled the move. The guy I talked to when I first called to set up the move was extremely helpful, easy going and made me feel like I would be in good hands. I will definitely call them again for any future moves (not for a few years, I hope). I would also award them fun bonus points for using pink moving trucks--you don't see that every day! And a little extra whimsy is sorely needed during the stress of moving.

UPDATE - Member's response to Service Provider: I didn't take this issue up with the company because I didn't stop to think they might be able to do something for me 10 months after the job. Obviously, I should have, so I apologize for that. On the other hand, he could have contacted me to make this right after seeing my report. And, note that I did not 'trash' them and I didn't feel compelled to give a bad review. I do know when the damage occurred - though I don't know specifically if it was when A-Available was moving the furniture out of my house, during transit, or when they were moving it into storage for me. No other people or items touched this furniture for the 6 months it was in storage. In this situation, I simply reported the truth and shared my experience honestly in order to maintain the integrity of Angie's List and to give other consumers additional information to use in selecting a mover. I honestly don't see this as a 'bad' rating, just a truthful one based on my experience. Dan's defensive and angry reply solidifies my position in not being willing to use his company again or recommend him to others.

The team was great. As I said above we moved out of a 4 floor townhome. They did not complain at all about moving furniture down so many floors. They were right on time and moved us very quickly, but with no problems encountered. At the new location, they moved several pieces of furniture around inside the house for me, as I was trying to fit big furniture in a much smaller house. They were helpful and professional throughout the whole process.

The employees were extremely polite and hardworking. Fast, strong and efficient. Just what you need from movers. Could not really ask for more.

A-Available Moving was dependable and I would highly recommend them. The packers were thorough and careful. We didn't have one broken glass. They worked for about 4 hours straight. They didn't charge us for the hours, but rather by the boxes packed. The next morning we met them at the storage unit. Again, they were very thorough. They unpacked all of the furniture so I could inspect it before loading it onto their truck. We then went to my apartment and loaded the remaining boxes and furniture (from a 3 story walk-up). We then drove to the new condo where they unloaded everything in about 3 hours. The movers were courteous (they took a sofa we didn't want to my sister-in-laws house) and didn't mind moving furniture from room to room as my wife changed her mind (go-figure). Again, I highly recommend these guys. Very professional, courteous, and worth the money.

This is the most professional moving company that I have EVER worked with. The owner came out to give me the estimate. He was on time and very knowledgeable. He explained all aspects of the move in detail. He gave me a quote for packing and moving, packing part of the house and moving and just moving. The day before the move the packers came and oh my, they introduced themselves and went right to work. On moving day the crew that arrived was truly a delight. They each introduced themselves and shook hands with every member of the our family. They had company T-shirts on. Then they went work. And they did not stop until the job was done. After all items were in the house, the crew asked if we wanted them to move any items to different location. This company knows how to get furniture into the difficult spaces of a bungalow. This company is family owned and it shows. They are professional, careful and courtesy. Once you talk to A-Available, you will see that you don't need to get any more quotes.

I was extremely pleased with the service. The movers were very professional, careful, and efficient. The team-leader was in communication with us at all times throughout the process and made sure we were pleased with the results. The price was very reasonable.

They were on time, they had a great attitude. While they were packing up in the basement we had to slow down while I disconnected the washer and dryer. By the time I went to search for a wrench and got back, they had moved on to another area to load items rather that waiting for me. And later when I reminded them about the washer and dryer they informed me they had already packed it. They were constantly moving. The house took about as long as they estimated to pack. I was very happy with these guys. My kids were occasionally underfoot, and not only were they careful around the children they would chat with them. They made the daunting experience a lot easier by working hard and being very cheerful while they worked.

The experience was excellent. They were on time and polite. They were efficient, quick, and clean. I would absolutely hire them again in the future and I've already referred them to others.

They were just wonderful and I would definitely use them again. They made my move easy! Because of their attitude and helpfulness, it was the least stressful move I've ever had. There was a very tricky delicate glass display case that I was very worried about. They were able to partially disassemble it and pad the pieces and then reassemble it and it came through without a scratch.

They had us down for seven and a half hours of work but they had it done in only five hours and charged us only for five. Dan is one of the owners and was awesome. They showed up early. There were three guys on the crew, Kevin, Mark and Wayne and they were great. They were also very accommodating.

They are efficient and reasonably priced and very professional. I would definitely recommend them.

The movers did a fantastic job. They were so careful with everything. Not one single break or scratch. The three men were very professional and never even took a break all day!

I was very pleased with the service. The workers were friendly and accommodating. They removed small or breakable items as needed from the China cupboards and bookcases, put down cardboard in the garage to protect the furniture from moisture and asked questions appropriately.

The crew was excellent. Punctual. Courteous. Helpful.

They did an really good job. I would use them again.

A Available was incredible! I was reluctant to go with them, because they gave me an estimate over the phone. I was swayed by their estimate, however, because it was about the same as everyone else ($1900), but it included the cost of supplies and materials in the hourly rate, whereas most other companies add the cost of supplies at the end. When the guys showed up, I couldn't have been happier. They were some of the nicest gentlemen I could ever hope to meet. They were polite and treated our things with the utmost of care. I was blown away by how careful they were. The best part of all? They worked so fast that they ended up being $700 under budget! Plus I didn't get hit with an extra $400 in charges for supplies, since they were already included in their hourly rate. To be honest, A Available would have been worth it at the $1900 they quoted me! The next time we have to move, I will not bother calling around for an estimate-I will use these guys every time.

They were great! I can't say enough about this company. The first time I used A-Available was in 2001 and I called them at the last minute when we realized that we were not going to be able to finish the move ourselves. I mean the DAY BEFORE the move and they were there and did a great job. This time we had some issues with closing on the house, then repairs, that delayed the move then a family illness that again delayed the move but the guys at A-Available were flexible and always good natured and reassuring. I was so impressed! They worked hard, were careful of our belongings and from the owners and office staff to the movers everyone was cheerful, reassuring and hard-working. Moving is really tough but A-Available makes it much more bearable!

Excellent - packing crew arrived exactly at the time stated and were fantastic. Moving crew arrived the next day exactly at the time stated and worked hard all day - Dan had estimated the time the move would take place and he was right on - and the crew worked diligently the entire time - they were very accommodating, polite, and careful with our belongings - The other estimates that I had gotten were slightly lower in price -mainly because they estimated less time - but A Available planned to send the largest crew - and given what I saw and how diligently the crew worked - I made a great and economical choice. Would definitely use these guys again.

We were totally satisfied and would recommend them. If I had to move again I would use them.

I called them on a Saturday and scheduled the movers for 10:00 on the following Wednesday. They showed up right on time at my house with the furniture which means they arrived early to pick up the furniture from my friends' house. They were done in less than 1 hour. They did everything I asked. They had to take the doors off the hinges to move the dresser to the attic but that was done quickly and the door replaced. The painted piece was moved without damage. The 3 man crew was extremely pleasant and uncomplaining. All telephone conversation with the company was friendly and efficiently handled. Problems: The dresser I had moved to the attic was replaced with a taller piece. They would have left the mirror from the dress hanging behind the taller piece if I had not noticed and told them to move the mirror. They moved a heavy box on our porch to get our new pieces in and did not move the box back. Not worth a down grade but you do have to watch.

Excellent! Very friendly, careful, and thorough. We would definitely hire these folks again. More expensive than some, but it's worth it to get things moved and not broken.

4 men arrived on time at the old house. We had more furniture than the phone estimate figured, but the guys were nice and worked very hard. The guys went above and beyond when needed. One "bad" thing, they did not have a dolly/ hand truck, which would have sped up load/unload. They borrowed mine at the new house. BEWARE - THEY DO NOT TAKE PLASTIC, AND NEEDED A CHECK OR CASH. WHO HAS $1500 IN CASH?? THEY NEED TO MAKE SURE YOU KNOW THIS BEFORE 5:00 PM ON A SATURDAY. Except for the money snafu, everything went well.

We talked with Dan regarding the details of the move and he was extremely helpful. He very clearly explained the associated costs and gave us a 1 hour window when the movers would arrive. The movers arrived within that time frame and were very efficient and courteous. I would highly recommend this company.
