Everything went well, the way you'd want and expect it to go. Roofing crew cleaned up the property every day and hauled away all debris. Jerry Jaworski ( I guess he's the owner ) promptly answered all my questions ( E-mail is the best way to communicate with him ) and the job was completed as per quote. I'm very happy with RK.

OUTSTANDING BY EVERY MEASUREMENT. Jerry from R K Roofing was outstanding to work with. He was very responsive to my initial inquiry, and prepared a proposal which he dropped off in person on a timely basis. We were immediately impressed with Jerry and his presentation, and after two other outstanding proposal requests were received, we contacted Jerry to accept his proposal. Jerry also stopped by in person to show us shingle samples, for our selection. R K Roofing was able to begin, and complete the work, within 2 weeks, which was terrific. Their workers were very pleasant and worked extremely hard, and in two long days the entire job was completed. We are satisfied on every level, and cannot recall ever being as impressed with any contractor or service provider. We would firmly recommend Jerry and R K Roofing.

Great job on the gutters and soffit and when they removed them, also found the much of the fascia boards had rotted out the roof. They replaced all this. Also, when I first called them, they came and replaced missing shingles before they did any other work. Finally, after installing downspouts, I asked them to move them from the alley side to the yard side and they came and did this with no additional charge. So I must say worked out great! For all this, didn't charge me until all the work was done which I thought was pretty amazing and I thought I got a reasonable price for the work done. Only problem was scheduling at times, but this was in part due to the weather. Once I found out they were there when my wife called me to tell me they had come when I hadn't expected them. But all in all, they did a great job and looks good and seems to be holding up very well.

R K did a fabulous job. The guys were very professional and kept the area clean while working. I have dogs so this was greatly appreciated. They arrived right on time and visited with me a bit to relay the logistics of the job and the roof looks great! In fact, the house has a totally different look with the architectural shingles, it looks really rich! I would certainly recommend R K Roofing, they get an A++.

Excellent...in one day. Crew came at 7:15 am and worked until7:30 pm Addressed issues that they found , repaired them at a very reasonable cost. They attached our bathroom exhaust properly, replaced wood that was rotted and moved our installation that was covering the vents.

Jerry from RK Roofing was amazing to work with. I work at home and am on my computer all day, and he communicated with me awesomely through email, text, and phone, always the perfect way for the situation. When he went to get the work permit at the village hall, there was some issue with the water bill, and he paid the outstanding bill so that he could get the permit and start the work on time. I thought that was very classy and immensely professional and helpful (and we reimbursed him, of course). His price was super fair, the work was done within a week of scheduling, and everything looks great. We ended up needing some extra things, like I requested they clean out the upper gutters since we couldn't reach them with our ladder, and they obliged. They hooked up a bathroom exhaust fan, and they were very reasonable about the shingles they were removing and the wood they had to replace. They cleaned up very well. Nobody likes needing a new roof, but this was about as painless a process as this can be! I would definitely hire them again and will refer them!

They were very professional throughout the project. They tore off and re-roofed same day, and came back next day to install new gutters. Everything looks great!

Did excellent job and clean up, would recommend them to do your roof

First, our older roof had deteriorated and had a leak in an upstairs bathroom. I found RK Roofing on Angies List to be very competitive on price with many satisfied customers. On June 1 2018 they did an excellent job, completed a new roof all in one day! Then on July 21st, we had a major hail storm, just about everyone on the block who checked, had damage. Our insurance adjuster found enough damage, even on the new roof, to shorten its life expectancy, so they issued a check for a replacement roof and for a new shed roof. RK Roofing did another new roof for the house plus the shed, on September 1st, again all in one day although the hours of daylight were less than in June. The cost of the June 1st roof including the permit, and several pieces of new plywood was $5551. The cost for the Sept 1st roof for the house and shed combined was almost exactly the same, $5559. The price was competitive enough that the local contractor who lives in our neighborhood could not compete, so two of my neighbors also had RK Roofing replace their roofs.

Jerry was great! They used the materials I selected from their website, and performed the work as requested. The crew came when scheduled and completed the work promptly, with Jerry there right on site :-). He had a separate guy come back to do the gutters, and all work was completed promptly. We selected RK Roofing because of the positive reviews, and the experience was just what we hoped. We especially liked that we weren't asked for a big down payment, as last time we paid a contractor in-advance, it took FOREVER to get that contractor to show up and complete the work. A+ to Jerry and his business, and would definitely use their services again!

Definitely recommend this company! Jerry, although I never actually met him in person, was great to work with about my roof. Nice guy and responds promptly to messages. Very reasonable price and the guys did a really good job. They were done in one day and everything was cleaned up. Would use them again for sure!

We spent much time perusing roofers and reviews on several sites as well as Angies list. We conducted pre-interviews with more than 6 roofers. We narrowed that list down to 3 in-person finalists for interview by price, specs and gut feelings that any one of the tree would do the job reliably. We decided in favor of R K Roofing, came to contract terms and arranged for installation. Jerry, the owner, had agreed to match specifications and length of warranty to match our wishes and competitors' specs and features. This assured a quote based on a level playing field. RK met all of our requirements with a marginally lower quote than the others. Price was a factor, but with add-on costs there are still variances once a roof is torn off. Jerry's crew came on the scheduled day with their own trailer for scrap, and they took reasonable care to avoid damage to our property. I suggest anyone having work done be on site at the time of the work. Our only issue with RK's work came when we observed the crew using only four nails per shingle rather than the contracted six nails per shingle. This would have voided an extended high wind shingle warranty. An immediate call to Jerry and translation for the crew leader corrected the matter. This was our only significant problem with the work performed. There were some fascia and soffitt repairs included in the work performed to our satisfaction. RK also installed or improved recommended vents for roof circulation, kitchen and bathroom exhausts, We really wanted to be sure this was the last roof we will ever need on this home and now we are confident that's the case. I hesitated sending in the review until we observed how it held up through a Winter, and so far so good after nearly a year installed.

I was amazed at how quickly the work went. They took great care not to harm any of my flowerbedsor surrounding areas. Extremely professional and pleasant to work with. Would definitely recommend RF Roofing.

Each time the workers were fast, cleaned up after themselves and there work was excellent. If I had more work to be done I would call them again.

They came out on Monday, October 30, and worked from around 7:45 a.m. until nearly dark. I could not be home for part of the day but had my neighbor keep an eye on them. She said they worked very diligently and consistently. We are very pleased by the results we've seen. They noted some issues and promptly took care of them after checking with us.

It went very well. Jerry always returned my phone calls very promptly and the work crew were a great group of guys who worked hard until everything was completed. They were always polite and conscientious, and always willing to explain how and why they were doing the project the way they were doing it.

We hired Jerry to do a tear off. The new roof came out perfect. Work area was picked up wonderful too. Jerry does wonderful work. I would not hesitate to hire him again.

Not typically the job that they do (replacing a few shutters), but I had worked with RK previously on 2 separate occasions (roof repair, then full tear off roof job) so Jerry was very gracious in agreeing to help out. I contacted many others first and they all turned me away due to the small scale job or steep roof. The guys were right on time, did excellent work, and were very professional. Every interaction I’ve had with Jerry at RK Roofing has made me glad that I decided to work with them. You can’t go wrong with RK for any of your roof needs.

Initially had the guys out to inspect the roof after closing due to a new water spot that was not noticed during the final walk through. The crew was very good, took pictures, and make some fixes, but pointed out that the upper section of roof was in bad shape (provided good pictures) and would need to be replaced soon. After a month or so and a few more rain storms it was obvious that a roof replacement was necessary (active leaks into attic and rooms). Jerry was able to work some magic to get the roof replaced before we had a 10 day vacation. From the signed proposal to completed project it was under 3 weeks. Crew was employed by RK and not subcontractors. All were very professional and courteous. Response time from Jerry was always immediate and communication was clear. Team seemed to do everything properly and thoroughly. Very happy with the final product and feel confident that we got a good price for high quality work.
