RK Roofing did an outstanding job of roofing my house. The owner Rafael is professional and kind. His craftsmen are respectful dheerful, efficient and detail oriented. They did a fantastic job of adjusting an ailing roof. They did a tear off, fixed the many rotting boards on my 80 something year old house. The roofline is sharp and level again and soffit/faschia work has really improved my home's safety and beauty. They are true professionals and Rafael gave an exceptional price for what they did.

Rafael responded promptly to our request for an estimate to replace our 17 year old roof which was damaged in a recent storm. He brought several samples of available shingles for us to choose from. He was extremely busy, but was still able to work us into his schedule sooner than expected. His crew was punctual, friendly and meticulous. They worked diligently and were on the spot with the estimate. Several of my neighbors were impressed with their work, and are using them as well. I can recommend them without hesitation.

Overall they did great job on our house. We would definitely recommend RK Roofing to our friends. Their quote was very reasonable. It's not the lowest but is lower than some others. The shingles they use is recommended by Consumer Reports as best value. Once contract is signed, Rafael is very good at informing us when they can start working on our house depending on their progress on other houses as well as the weather, which is very understandable. Once started, they have 4-5 guys working on it very hard and the re-roof was completed in less than 3 days. They kept us very informed about how many boards are replaced which charge additional. They would ask us whether we want to replace some of the boards that are in okay condition that don't HAVE TO be replaced which we appreciate. During the work, they clean up well and keep things well organized during the day and at the end of the day when they leave. They would ask us how we want to run the gutter as well as many other details which we have options. The soffit, fascia and siding on gables are all done professionally. My husband is handy himself and knows a lot about building houses. He has some special requirements/ways that we want to be done. RF Roofing did all that to our satisfaction. We are very happy about the quality of the work. We also really like the fact that the entire project was done quickly. Once they started it, they took our project as a priority and completed it soon.

Wonderful! My husband likes to call our roof a 'work of art'. Rafal and his team were very responsive, professional and even happy. The estimate we received was one of the lowest and with his great reviews on Angies list we knew we had found our roofer. They came a couple of weeks after we signed the contract and went to work. We were told that they are paid by the hour not the job. The team of four worked over three days (we calculated about 120 hours of labor) to attend to every detail with perfection. When there were choices to be made they discussed the pros and cons with us and let us make the decision. Rafal was always available by phone and responded within minutes. Nothing was rushed and they did a thorough clean up. Our roof now looks beautiful and elegant and the price was right!

Rep came out to the house and went up on the roof and told me that I may have a ventilation problem based on the black streaks on my roof. He also said that I might need to have a lot of wood replaced. I had other roofing companies come out and they said the black streaks are just mildew and not a sign of a ventilation problem. I might need to have some wood replaced but the other companies said that they didn't think I would have to replace all of it, beside they would not know how much needs replacing until they tore the roof off. I do not trust RK roofing after what they told me.

The team of 4 guys showed up and we discussed what was to be done. The foreman wanted to know if I wanted the major structural boards replaced, or if I would like "sister" boards installed. Sister boards are nailed to the existing joists to take the place of what was damaged. I elected to go with this option, which saved quite a bit of money. The team immediately got to work putting tarps down to collect nails and stuff that fell off the roof. Then they got right to stripping off the old roof and putting the debris into a trailer. Once the roof was off, they got to work fixing the damage to the structure. The roof should have been replaced 10 years earlier, but was never done. The water damage was severe. Once the joists were fixed, they put on new decking boards and shingles. They also cut to length and installed the new fascia boards and soffit boards. The only thing left for me to do was to paint the boards once they were done. I was a longer day than they expected, but they did a very good job and I highly recommend them.

Rafal was very prompt in his communication from the start. He kept us updated and answered all ourquestions promptly. The estimated was delivered quickly and i was able to get samples to help us determine what color we would like. The crew arrived on timeboth days (as it was a two day job). They were polite, professional, and cleaned up really well each day. I would recommend this company!

Rafal's team was great! They Arrived on a Friday morning and worked all day Friday, Saturday and part of Monday. The project was expected to take two days, but our roof turned out to be a little more challenging they first thought. The crew was very nice to work with and I had no complaints. They had the best quote amongst five quotes I had recived. I would definately us them again.

Rafal and his crew were very courteous and prompt. After work began, it was discovered that one section of the roof had multiple old layers still in place (left by a previous roofer). Rafal negotiated an extremely fair price for the additional labor and materials (new sheathing). They arrived when they said they would and the cleanup after the job was so good, you wouldn't have known they had been here. It highly recommend RK to anyone needing any sort of roofing or repairs.

Owner was responsive to getting to the house for an estimate and came in 40% under other contractors estimates. We were under some time constraints but with the bad weather, we had to fit in our project between rain storms. We had ceiling damage that had to be repaired inside, but had to get roof fixed first. Team was on time, on budget and finished in under a day. They went the extra mile by coming to us on a Saturday. Clean up was excellent. Neighbors commented that they didn't even know the team was there! Good job! Thanks, Angie's List!

Rafael came out and provided a full estimate with the price inline with Angie's list advertised deal. Work was started and completed on the agreed to date. Permit, new/extra vents, flashing, replacement of wood as needed were all covered (w/minimal extra cost). Work was completed in one day and clean-up left no trace of debris. Great execution and quality work. Highly recommend R K Roofing.

They informed us that they do not work on cedar shake roofs. We are going to get a refund for the Big Deal. We were able to communicate with them quickly.

I called RF Roofing because of their great references on Angies. They quickly responded to my request for an estimate. The estimate was very fair, and the Owens Corning shingles they proposed had the best ratings on independent websites. They were able to schedule me quickly, and they showed up and did exactly as promised. As the 2-day project progressed, I had some questions along the way, and Rafael was very quick to respond. He answered my questions thoroughly and his team did a great job. They showed me where a few boards needed repair and they fixed things well, and at a very fair price. They put the turtle vents in places that were not visible from the road, and seemed like they really cared about doing the job like they would be doing their own house. Later a friend in the trades and knowledgeable about roofs, said that they did a very professional job. A company with the best ratings, using the best shingles, and giving me the best price -- what's not to like? My whole-hearted recommendation.

My roof wasn't that old but the original installation was poorly done. I had several leaks. After shopping around, RK Roofing was the second lowest quote but also highly rated on Angies List. Moreover, the new roof warranty was for seven years and transferable if I should sell the house. The owner Rafal was patient, courteous and professional. Speaks good English and is very responsive with phone calls and emails. He sent a team headed by Stanley who was fast and knowledgeable. They worked all day and cleaned up well. I had wanted an unsightly gutter spout removed and a larger gutter installed, and I thought Rafal said we could take care of it. When he and his men arrived to do the work, he said that structurally a bigger gutter wouldn't fit on the fascia. I know I mentioned it to him when he came to do the estimate, but now can't remember if we had agreed on the fix or not, as our communications transpired so quickly with lots of phone calls and emails. So I can't really assign blame, but it's the only dissatisfaction I have with the roofing project. Overall, I have no regrets going with RK Roofing. Would definitely recommend them.

They came exactly on time. Work was done quickly. They did everything professionally and clean-up was great.

From the initial contact with Rafael to the ending day with gutter and downspout installation, everything was flawless. Rafael was always available for questions and his crew with Stanley (foreman) was excellent. They used a haul away trailer for debris instead of a large dumpster which was great. No eyesore dumpster in the driveway. No debris was left behind after the tear off and installation. The work roof was completed in 2 days and the gutters/downspouts were finished in 6 hours. The flashing, gutters and downspouts were all matching color and blend in beautifully to the roof color. Overall the price was the best and the quality of the crew and the work was excellent. Highly recommend these guys!

Rafael and his team came out and knocked the job out in half a day. Great working with and no concerns about shadiness, which I got the sense from others that bid for the job. His price was reasonable and was actually able to come out the next day after giving quote to complete job.

From start to finish, R.K. Roofing was a pleasure to deal with. The owner, Rafal, provided a quote that was fair and the finished product is exceptional. The team arrived early, 8AM and finished by 5PM. All debris was removed. I had a great experience with Rafal and his crew. They showed up on time each day, were polite and professional. We had a situation where it was going to snow the next day, which would slightly delay completion the job. The crew was very focused on the job and did not stop working until 8 pm to ensure we had complete roofs on our home and garage! They came back immediately after the weather improved in two days and installed our gutters and downspouts. I am very pleased with the work and the amount of time (2 1/2 days) it took them to complete the entire job (as weather permitted). I will surely utilize their services again in the future and recommend them to everyone I know.

I initially called Rafal to check my roof and do minor repairs as needed. But in the course of our discussions in which I told him about the water problem, he proposed a totally "out of the box" and elegant solution. His crew did the job quickly and very well and solved a chronic problem.

The owner of the firm was the contact person. He was a good listener and communicator. He kept me well informed of progress and issues. When a problem arose due to the old sky lights we wanted to keep, he was able to overcome the challenge without an increase in the estimated price. In fact, the final price of the roof was exactly the estimated price. | |I am happy with every phase of the work. I did not rate the quality of the roof because it is too soon to really confirm the quality. But, there are absolutely no leaks to date and no inkling of a problem.
