Description of Work: They moved a Steinway B grand piano from a house into a building, 18th floor. They measured building elevator to make sure the piano would fit (cost $100.00). It did fit into the elevator. Very nice to deal with. When told that movers had nicked one spot and gotten sticky hands on the body of the instrument, they asked a repair person to correct the damage. I have met the repair person, but he has not yet come to do the job. As his company is moving, I hope to see him soon.

Description of Work: The piano to be moved is an antique and turned out to be one of the heaviest models ever made by Steinway. The movers were timely and professional. My aunt (from whom the piano came) said that they were very careful in her house and managed the job very well. They arrived on-time at the destination (about 2 hours away) and were efficient and polite. While slightly more expensive than another quote I received, I think they were well-worth it. I plan to use them again when we do remodel our living room.

Description of Work: I purchased a used piano and needed it moved locally from one residence to my own. I was under a time crunch and needed it moved asap. I contacted them on a monday and they were able to accommodate our schedules and move the piano 48 hours later (but were prepared to move it sooner) They were very responsive throughout the entire process. They called me when they were on their way to the pick up location, were right on time. These guys were perfect. It was as easy of an experience as it could have been. I was very nervous to have this done, within minutes of them arriving I was at ease after talking to them briefly, and they are insured for the full value of the piano and even sent me a copy of their insurance ahead of time. They were on time, very nice and friendly, professional, and very efficient. They move a TON of pianos apparently, and by watching them work it was quickly apparent they knew exactly what they were doing.

Description of Work: They moved a large, fairly heavy spinet piano from my neighbors house to mine (down 4 stairs, up 6 stairs). There was some confusion initially as to what type of piano it actually was, but the owner straightened it out and showed up personally to help with the move. The move out of the neighbors was very tight, and they did it without hitting a wall or door. Most reasonably priced of the companies I researched.

Description of Work: Called the company giving them a tight schedule for a piano move. Not only did they meet my schedule the pricing was very reasonable as opposed to other piano movers. They sent me a copy of insurance immediately after the quote. Today they moved the piano , the crew that showed up was very pleasant making the whole process of moving the paino to its new home a lot less stressful and must i add that they knew there job. The piano was handled and moved in a very safe way. Thank you for making this a very affordable and happy experience.

+ -1 moreThis company provides excellent service! I e-mailed the company through Angie's List and got a call back within 15 minutes. A very nice lady named Jessica took my information, told me about the company and then gave me a quote. She also gave me three dates and time frames to coordinate with the seller of the piano. After confirming the date, I called her back to make the appointment and let her know that we have a very tight entrance in our bungalow (in case she thought it wouldn't fit). The move went very smoothly! The seller let me know that everything went great on their end. The two gentlemen who delivered the piano were very pleasant and professional. They took great care to protect the piano, especially when bringing it into our house. They made sure not to damage the door, door frame or any other part of the house during the move. The price was exactly what they quoted, and the move was perfect. I chose this company because they specialize in moving pianos and pianos only. I will recommend them to everyone in need of this service because of their pleasant and professional demeanor!

They were in and out of my house by eight fifteen in the morning, which I think was really great. They picked it up in Lombard at quarter to eight and they were done by eight fifteen. They did what they said they would do. My piano was treated very well. They did no damage moving it in or out to my house or my uncle's house. We were very happy. They were very punctual.
Description of Work: I used Quality Piano Moving for delivery service of my piano. My last interaction with them was today. I paid $260 for the job done.

They arrived on time, had the piano in the house within minutes, and moved my china cabinet to make room for the piano. The movers were pleasant and professional. + -1 moreAfter searching Angie's list, I discovered this company is with best reviews and best prices. Besides from this research, our piano tuning specialist recommended Jand J Piano moving as well. Price quoted was the best among piano moving companies in Illinois. Crew came to job exactly time scheduled. Job was performed very accurately and fast. At both destinations all floors were covered to protect from scratches. Very accommodating and polite crew was trying to do more then asked in order to keep us happy.
Description of Work: 5'10" Grand piano was moved from second floor apartment (very difficult stairs) to my house ten miles away.
