After picking out the type of granite, the company sent a person to measure the kitchen countertops. This was done in a timely manner. The installers arrived at the exact projected time and worked approximately 4 hours removing the old countertops and installing the sink and new countertops. They were polite and cleaned the entire area when done.

Once I gave them the measurements, it took about 2 weeks longer than stated. Otherwise, the quality, finish, and price were definitely worth it.

They did a beautiful job and handled the complex island very well. Our contactor was very impressed as we didn't use his granite guy. He now wants to use Factory Plaza since they did such a great job. Everything went smooth during the install. Make sure you schedule an install date plenty ahead of time as they are very busy and book quite far in advance. We ended up waiting on the countertops for several weeks because of this. In the end, they did a great job and it was worth the wait.

Very good experience. I am detail oriented so I wanted to be sure that there was no miscommunication. You have to take responsibility for accurate measurements and layout since FP isn't coming to your location. So be sure to be accurate and clear and do it in writing.

The granite counter tops are the crowning jewel to our full kitchen renovation. Factory Plaza was professional and courteous from the time we entered their showroom until the job was completed. The estimate was detailed and accurate. Staff was very helpful in the slab selection. Measurements were perfect. Fabrication was exact. Installation was timely and excellent. Would definitely recommend them. I love my new kitchen! I want to thank all of you at Factory Plaza for your part in making it so gorgeous!!

Installation crew showed up on time, answered all our concerns and very detail-oriented. The job site was cleaned and the job was very well done. I would recommend Faculty Plaza to our friends and family for sure.

We were upgrading our countertops to granite. I searched Angie's List and saw Factory Plaza. I'd already clipped newspaper ads on them, so was happy to have a listing here. The description of other jobs and rating convinced us to make the trek. They were quit a drive for us--all the way to Bensenville, but they were definitely worth it!!! Huge selection of slabs in a wide range of prices--way under what we had seen in other places. You can actually pick the slab and mark it the same day (with a deposit). During the month we were looking, they had a special of $21/sq ft. of a white granite with grey flecks This stone was actually there--not a bait & switch. It would not work for our kitchen, but it was very popular because it was a good stone. You are given a price list when you go into the warehouse--they are upfront about everything. You can even take home as many free samples as you need to see the stone in your environment. Beata is very knowledgeable and offered suggestions and tips throughout the process. The slabs we selected were near the top of the price range--but was on special at half price. It was carmel (I forgot the name) with browns, just a bit of taupe and flecks of gold throughout--gorgeous. We chose the straight edge, but there are other options available at extra cost per sq ft.All counters come with a stainless sink (we chose the 60/40 configuration). We removed the old counters ourselves. There is an extra charge of $100 for demo (which I think is very reasonable). They were able to give us a complete quote based on our measurements, but, of course, pending their professionals coming out and taking the exact measurements (there was only 1ft difference). They have a huge project board that shows what installations they have planned in the near future, so it was easy for them to plug us in, working around theirs and our schedule. The installers (2) were on time, friendly and very skilled. We had three countertops to install and they were done in around 90 minutes (or less). They were careful during the installation to minimize the amount of dust and cleaned up after the installation. As they instructed, we had on hand our faucet, cooktop and accessories that required drill holes. They do not install cooktops or faucets, but we were told that in advance. In addition, the installers were very informative about how to care for the countertops. I am all too happy to offer and outstanding rating for the company and have already referred a co-worker, who has purchased countertops from them.

I researched Factory Plaza, and others via the web for pricing on granite countertops. I decided to ONLY use places that were reviewed here on Angies List so I discarded the cheapest quote we got. However, Factory Plaza was the next lowest price; they beat a local competitor rated highly here by $400 and Lowe's by almost $800. So, we called Peter and asked them to come measure. We had new RTA cabinets installed in our kitchen so there was no countertop so our kitchen was useless until we got the countertop installed. Peter was great and got the measurement done within a couple of days and the day after the measurement, we came out to the showroom to pick our granite slab. We chose tan brown. Peter was courteous and unlike some other places we went to he itemized each cost on the final quote and even gave us a slight discount because we chose a single bowl sink (sinks are included for FREE at Factory Plaza). Now, the one snag in the process came when Peter told us he could install on "Tuesday". We were shocked considering it was Friday afternoon when we came to pick out the slab and pay the 50% deposit. He forgot to put the date on the shop ticket and we forgot to look. On Tuesday, my wife called frantic about the installers not being there at the appointed time. So I called Peter and he said we had the wrong day. I was shocked and asked him what day it was supposed to be then and he said "Tuesday". I paused for a second and asked him to repeat it slowly because he has a fairly heavy Eastern European accent and he said "Thursday" this time. Ha! We heard him wrong the first time. However, when I explained that we had no use of the kitchen he said he would have folks out on the next day which he did. They arrived about 30 minutes late but were quick, clean and courteous. They also gave us cleaning tips for the granite. Except for that brief hiccup, I'd say Peter and Factory Plaza are AWESOME and would recommend them.

Overall, our experience with Factory Plaza was fantastic! We couldn't be happier with the professional assistance from Beata...she was helpful and very accommodating. We had to move our installation date more than once, and she did it without question {and she had every reason to be irritated with us!!}. Totally impressed...she was great! We selected a beautiful piece of granite from their showroom. The men who came to measure arrived on time, and the installers arrived on time as well, and did an amazing job! I would definitely recommend Factory Plaza to anyone looking for granite counter-tops!

Our experience with Factory Plaza from start to finish could not have been better. Beata was very accommodating when we visited the showroom and took the time to explain the product and process for us and the estimator and installers were most professional. Thr pricing of our job was very affordable and dramatically less than other quotes we received. The finished countertops are the hallmark of our kitchen rennovation and we will recommend Factory Plaza to anyone who is in the market for a countertop.

I found Factory Plaza listed here on Angie's List. I visited two granite companies and found Factory Plaza to be the easier one to work with. From my first visit I found Beata & Bozena helpful and responsive. The approach was not "high pressure" and I was handed a price list. From measuring to installation, everything went as stated. Servicemen were on time and I knew every step of the way what was happening with my order.

It went very smooth; good communication with the staff; very efficient and on time.

They were very professional from start to finish. Unlike many other placed I visited, the employees were friendly and welcoming and there was no high pressure or hard sell. The variety of granite in their warehouse was smaller than some places but very nicely laid out to display all the stones (some warehouses have them all stacked up and you have to request that they move the individual piece you want to look at). They also had many colors that were hard to find anywhere else, including Super White Granite/Quartzite. The quote was lower than anywhere else by far, and they were very good at explaining how the granite would have to be cut in order to work for my project. The only reason I ended up not going with them is because my general contractor wanted to use a granite person he was used to working with and I thought it might be easier to coordinate schedules that way.

I thought they were really good. They knew what they were talking about and remembered everything very well. The granite I picked they didn't have, I had to get it from a different place. I would have had to buy 2 slabs with them and the price would have been too much. I would have went with them if their price was better.

I went to their facility and walked through aisles and aisles of granite countertops. The selection was amazing and price couldn't be beat. I live in Oak Lawn, but the drive was well worth it. They came to install and were there on the date and time specified, no B.S., no excuses. They gave me a time and they were there. I love my new countertops and would use this company again. It was very reasonably priced for extremely high quality work, from the salesman, estimator to the installers. They had a very quick response time and I would highly recommend them.

We decided to try Factory Plaze because they are located down the street from my husband's work and they offered a price match guarantee stating "factory plaza will meet or beat any written estimate." We did a lot of pricing before we went to them and we came in with a written estimate from a competitor which Alex (our orignal sales associate) said they would beat. He gave us a price of $1900-which was a bit lower than the competetor, so we decided to go with them. Alex immediately scheduled the measure and the installation. The measure went well and the guy took our sink template with him. When I called back about a week later to confirm our installation I was informed that Alex was no longer with the company and they couldn't find our paperwork. After finding our paperwork, my husband stopped in to talk to Gary-our new sales associate- who informed us that we needed to pick a slab. We picked a slab at the fabricators and after not hearing from Factory Plaza for another week, we called only to find out that we either had to pay and extra $200 for the slab we chose or use an inferior slab that they already had in stock. We decided just to pay the extra money to get the job done. Then they called to tell us that they couldn't find the sink template. Eventually the template was found and our new countertops were installed 1 week past the original date. The countertops look great, but I'm not sure it was worth the hassle.
