Excellent work! We couldn’t be happier! Can’t wait to have our sink functioning again, but that for tomorrow! Picked our product at the factory. Estimated perfectly. Measurement within a week. Install just a few days later. They make it look easy!

I am a repeat customer over last 6 years. I am disheartened by issues encountered with my recent countertop order (originally placed in June) from Factory Plaza and the subsequent handling by their employee/PM. I ordered a stone countertop for a 36-inch sink base cabinet, specifying sink and faucet cutouts and an industry-standard overhang. This was a very simple order. Here is a summary of the problems encountered and specifically attributable to the Project Manager: Sink Cutout Issue: I provided a sink template for the countertop cutout and was billed accordingly. Instructed to pick up the countertop, it lacked the sink cutout. PM had not provided fabrication team with the sink template. Countertop was not ready and was sent back to fabrication. Faucet Cutout Issue: Advised to bring in the sink for an accurate cutout. Upon another pickup attempt, discovered that the faucet cutout was missing. Countertop sent back to fabrication. Overhang Issue: Advised to pick up the countertop, it was discovered that it was an inch short due to missing industry-standard overhang. These repeated errors indicate a severe lack of due diligence and attention to detail. Factory Plaza has been negligent and uncompromising and failed to accurately document and follow through with the specified requirements. I have previously had successful experiences with different Project Managers employed by Factory Plaza, including: - Full kitchen countertop fabrication and installation - Outdoor bar countertop fabrication and installation - Custom bathroom vanity and countertop fabrication and installation - Laundry room countertop fabrication with customer provided measurements (Same order request as in this formal complaint.) Issues with this particular project highlight a significant lapse in service quality, stemming from PM's inadequate management. These missteps have delayed the project and resulted in additional inconvenience and frustration.

The whole process went smooth and easy. From picking up the stone ( they had a nice variety), to pricing ( very competitive) to scheduling and installation.We had 2 slabs because of our L shape and I was nervous the vines in the granite would not have a flow. It looks amazing, just got it installed today. Thank you Tara for dealing with all my questions. You guys are awesome!

I like my cabinets, but the reason for my low review is the service (our really the lack of) provided by this company. As you can see our invoice was dated on 9/9/23. We received some type of Memorial Day discount. I'm going to state now that I would've preferred to spend a couple extra thousand dollars to avoid all the headaches these people caused. My wife and I were going through IVF and we had a transfer date set for 11/20. We wanted the kitchen done before then. Per the salesman, the company was to come out and measure, and the cabinets would be made and installed within 2-3 weeks with an additional 3-5 days for the installation of the countertop. It took them 20 days just to come out and measure. We were assured at this time along with many times after that everything would be done by specific dates. I have the emails to prove it. On 9/29 a man came to measure. So, we figured by the timeline they gave us the cabinets would be delivered and installed by 10/21/23. Without any proactive communication by the company we continuously reached out to them to receive updates. We demolished our kitchen with the previous expectation (set by them) in mind. We finally received a response on 11/2 that the cabinets would be delivered and installed on 11/8. We were without a kitchen for two weeks at that point and it was now going to be nearly three weeks or more by the time the counter was going to be installed. We got them to deliver the cabinets on 11/7 and the only installed the base cabinets so that the counter person could come and measure. 11/8 the wall cabinets were half installed and there were problems with hinges, doors, handles were not installed, and there were problems with the panels (wrong size). For the next few weeks, we didn't get any answers. We made call after call. Nothing was being done. I eventually filed a claim with the BBB (Better Business Bureau). They contacted the company and then that is when it became an even bigger joke. The "General Manager" who claims to be on the Board I'd Directors for the company (I have the email) made more promises of timelines that were going to be met and that he was going to do an internal audit and find out where the breakdown in the company happened and then we basically never heard from him again. We called more and more and everything was eventually completed on 11/30/24. Just short of three whole months from when we purchased the cabinets to when they were completed. It was at least a month without a kitchen. We had to transfer embryos during this and I feel that the stress may have led to her not being able to hold the pregnancy.

*Update* After providing this well deserved 1 star review factory plaza canceled our order referencing our review online. Then were refusing to give my husband our sink template threatening him with legal action if we didn’t remove our review. That’s not how business or the internet works, factory plaza. They did eventually give my husband our sink template (crumpled up, but hopefully usable). ***important to note: they tell customers to show proof of a 5-star review to get the sink cut out as a cutting board. Purchase process was fine, it wasn’t until we had to call repeatedly to get an appointment to measure that it started going down hill. The very rude woman that works at the front desk told my husband “you’re not our only customer” when he asked if they could come after 8am. So my husband called again and spoke with someone else and they said moving the time back wouldn’t be a problem, but then called back and said rude woman wouldn’t allow it (power trip perhaps?) she then canceled our measure appointment and moved it back to the next week, thus delaying our project. Guy comes to measure, he was pleasant, seemed to know what he was doing says it will be about a week to week and a half for install. Wait a couple days to hear from them and don’t, so we again start calling to get a install date, my husband spoke to Mario who said it will be next Monday. A few days before install we call multiple times to find out the install window, no return call. Monday comes, and they don’t show up. We start calling again since we have our contractor at our house now to hook up the plumbing. They tell us we didn’t approve the slab so they didn’t fabricate. Not only did they not return our phone calls, but wouldn’t you think if they needed us to approve a carbon copied slab of quartz they would have mentioned this? I go there to tape the slab and they tell me it will be another week, and they can’t move it up even after our sales guy (Jerry) admitted that it was their fault and he forgot to put it through to fabrication.

I have been working with Mario, and found the experience to be incredibly difficult and disappointing. I provided pictures of the layout of my kitchen and measurements of cabinets, and inquired multiple times if there is anything else I need to ensure my kitchen is "finished". Mario was little to no help, and stated he isn't a designer. I was not expecting him to design anything, merely ensure as a cabinet expert and project manager for your company that all components needed to finish my kitchen were included in my order. I was first told that the cabinets were solid wood cabinets by Mario - only to find out the boxes are actually not solid wood and neither is my complete door for my shaker cabinet. This was not upfront or honest. My cabinets were delivered (with some damage pictures attached - Mario did not respond when I called repeatedly as they were being delivered or my urgent emails. Over a day later he advised I could drive my cabinets back in myself and they can fix them - I live in downtown Chicago and paid for delivery - obviously this was not an option), and despite telling me I had white shaker cabinets, I actually have unpainted boxes and an unfinished bottom on my cabinets. Additionally, there was not a panel to cover where this unpainted box would show by my microwave and no shelves for two of my upper cabinets. Mario took zero responsibility when I called and voiced my frustration and concerns. He informed me "he is not a mind reader". I did not expect him to be a mind reader, but did expect him to be a professional with better customer service. Also, when placing the order for the cabinets Mario stated he would keep me updated every step of the way. This NEVER happened. I pushed for every update, they were delayed beyond the date he advised I would have them. During my countertop measurements I was told by the very nice gentleman, Tom, that came out that the countertop would not fit in my elevator (despite the fact the same size countertop has already been in my place in that same elevator - and neighbors also had the same size countertop in one piece). Thankfully, Natalia helped me while Mario was out, and worked to find an option to have these countertops delivered in one piece (kudos to her). I was so grateful at instillation that countertop was in one piece. I provided pictures to Natalia prior to instillation showing my level cabinets. At no point did the installers state my cabinets were not level to lay the countertop. They placed the countertop DIRECTLY WITH WEIGHT on my DISHWASHER! Pictures of this are included. Shivs where put in, but the weight was not on them. MY contractor (not factory plaza) saw this and was immediately VERY concerned. He rectified the situation immediately out of fear the legs were going to break off my dishwasher. He also filled in part of the area around the shiv and countertop as NOTHING had been filled in or sealed correctly, and he was mortified another professional would leave my kitchen in this shape. There were also two small chips on the edge of my countertop from instillation which my contractor pointed out to me. After a week of emails, the installers were back out today to try and fix what had gone wrong. They sealed what was missed, evened out out the caulking for the shivs which had been left sticking out. Then when I asked if anything could be down about the chips they said yes, we can buff them right out. This resulted in one hand sanding creating a divot in my countertop. Then Roberto working endlessly to try to even this back out and match the corner rounds and even/smooth the side. He worked very hard to do this, but the corners do not match as they did at the time of installation, and the side is smooth but uneven (spots that have a noticeable dip when you run your hand across the surface). My purchase was for countertops with flat edges and matching corners. I do not have this. Also, when trying to repair the chips to the countertop which were from installation the workers began sanding the countertops (with no furniture coverings or warning about the amount of dust that was about to be generated). My furniture will need to be professionally cleaned due to how this was done, and the quartz dust that covered EVERYTHING in the condo. Additionally, an installer broker a pricey glass and chrome soap dispenser. I found it very unprofessional that the item was broken and NOT mentioned to me. I went into the bathroom to find it broken and no one else besides the installer had used that bathroom. Mario has to call me as he as he said he would do 5 days ago, I have followed up via phone and email. I also emailed and called the owner/VP - Darek Bosek with no response. His email if you need it for the future is Darek@factoryplaza.com. I would never work with them again. The price was right, but this is a situation of you get what you pay for from them.

We purchased our countertops here and although we had a person from Factory Plaza measure our kitchen, we received a beyond poorly installed countertop. There is a 1/2" gap running between our wall and countertop that the crew filled haphazardly and incompletely with silicone. The seam at the sink looks like it was cut with a hacksaw and filled with putty, which immediately begin chipping away. After numerous emails and phone calls they refuse to call us back or even sign a name on their emails. They more or less called us liars when in response to our concerns told us, "they would never have put silicone between a wall and countertop" and it must have been us and that our walls settled or maybe they are not straight, nevermind that they MEASURED our walls!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

Great selection of slabs. Took only two weeks from measurement to installation. Professional and courteous employees. Cheapest price found in bi-state area. This is my second installation with this company and I will go back to them when it is time to redo the bathrooms.

staff members were extremely helpful with the overall selection process and a great deal on granite counter top remnants, highly recommend checking out their selection. prices were great and affordable compared to our warehouses we have previously visited. cost included onsite measurements, planning, cutting, installation and sealing. highly recommended this company. will be definitely visiting again for future projects.

Living over 100 miles from their offices, we were able to receive samples of their granite to help determine what would work best in our kitchen. After asking for his advice, their professional who came out to measure and create a template of our kitchen assisted in making decisions based on our traditional oak cabinets and family style kitchen. Their installers were polite, efficient, and cleaned up after themselves. Factory Plaza employs the type of old world craftsmen who provide quality work and take pride in the results. Additionally, the cost was substantially cheaper than their competitors and the big box stores! We highly recommend Factory Plaza, Inc..

The quality and value of their cabinets was excellent, much better than pre-made cabinets at the big box stores. They do not offer any delivery services for cabinets so we ended up renting a U-Haul to pick them up ourselves. The countertop installation was top notch, very professional and they look great. Even better, their prices just could not be beat.

Went to Factory Plaza Inc. based on the rating that they had with Angies List. Had a great experience! They had such a large selection I had a hard time picking a granite for my kitchen countertops. I had gone to a few other granite companies to check prices before going and Factory Plaza Inc. beat all the other companies prices. The turn around time for my countertop was as promised. The installers showed up on time, were polite and cleaned up after themselves. Experienced no problems! Would definitely use them again!

Stay away for obvious reasons I have outlined.

The work on the granite counter top was fine. I ran into an issue when my tile man pointed out that they had messed up the tile around the front of my dishwasher. I have reached out to the company, and was told that the sales woman who sold me the counter top is no longer with the company. The woman I did speak to tried to challenge me by saying that the work happened almost a year ago, and when I pressed the issue, said she would reach out to her boss. I have yet to hear back. I'm frustrated that they didn't tell me they had cut it uneven when they were moving the dishwasher back into place after putting the counter tops in. They didn't admit that they had a problem with the tile, and I wish they had. It would be a lot easier to fix at the time, than it is now. They knew that they had made a mistake with the floor and overlooked it and kept it from me. It wasn't until I had the tile guy come back that he pointed it out to me. I'm very disappointed in their communication, and I really hope we're able to get this fixed. I even had my house on the market, and it didn't sell. I'm sure the realtors pointed out the tile issue to potential buyers. I've since taken my house off the market.

They did a beautiful job installing my counters. The seams are barely visible.

Everything went well, from meeting the sale staff to actually installing the stones. Everyone was very responsive and helpful, the installation went great and the results are amazing!

We had our counter tops installed today and could not be happier with the end result or with any step in the process to get there. Factory Plaza was excellent in every way. They have a wonderful selection of material on hand. Their salespeople are very knowledgeable and helpful. The estimator was also very very good and was able to answer many other questions we had. We only had to wait about seven days from the estimate, till the cut stone arrived for installation. The installers were quick and able to make last minute alterations on the spot. The counters look awesome. The price was right. We recommend them highly, they are well worth checking out.

Installation has not occurred yet for our current project. But I am confident after meeting with our project manager, Anna, that the installation, timeliness and professionalism will be of a high standard, as was in the past.

Anna P was fantastic. She was friendly, knowledgeable and prompt when responding. I had a deadline for a party and despite the fact that I added farm sink to the mix ( a lot of extra measuring and installing by my plumber & carpenter and extra time on the granite companies part) it all went off without a hitch. The installers were prompt and hard workers. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.

Anna P was our project manager. We liked her a lot. Very knowledgeable, detail oriented and professional. Very competitive prices and we will definitely go back for future projects.
