This is the worse experience I've had with any company. Mario sounded helpful at first. His delays cost me several trips back and forth to my Moms house (to the tune of $950). The measurements were initially made for backsplash. I decided not to use backsplash at the time of the initial measurements. The cutting people apparently did not get the message and they cut the granite slabs with backsplash notches. So when installer came, I had to tell Mario to put back the backsplash. Instead of apologizing for his granite cutters error, he blamed me for "changing my mind" and then forced me to pay for the backsplash. At first Mario said, the price was with the back splash and when i pointed out they didn't bring enough granite backsplash, Mario changed his tune and stated we must pay for backsplash. He hung up on me while I was trying to explain the problem. When I called him back, he went on a rant blaming me for all the issues. Finally, when I had to order backsplash, Mario asked me how tall. I stated it had to be 5 inches tall. Instead he provided backsplash that is barely 4 inches in height. This makes the whole job look unprofessional and shoddy. Worse even, their demand to sign a waiver against any damages to my Mom's kitchen. The granite installer did damage the wall leaving a gaping 5 inch by 4 inch hole in the wall. Initially the installer said he would take care of it, but Mario told installer not to because " we signed a waiver". Except for the installer Phillip who tried his best to do a good job and truly cares about the quality of work he provides, I would not recommend this company to anyone. I'm deeply disappointed in this experience and would steer clear from them for anything especially granite countertops.

Working with Anna Phillips was an outstanding experience. She listens well and went above and beyond to help me pick my stone, super white quartzite, and then pick out the perfect pieces for my project. I think we moved 10 slabs around to get the perfect match. She also asked several questions and determined based on a possible future appliance change, I may need another small piece, which she incorporated. All in all, great options and excellent service. I highly recommend!!

As an avid DIY'er, I'm always skeptical when I need to hire someone to do work for me. My experience with Factory Plaza couldn't have been better. When I visited their showroom, I was greeted by a member of their staff who handed me a price list and directed me to the area where I could view the various slabs of granite. There was an area there where you could also take samples from at no cost. I spent about 45 minutes looking around without any sales pressure. When I had some questions one of the men there answered them and was very pleasant. I took several samples home and after deciding on what I wanted I placed a call and spoke with Mario to set up an appointment for measuring. The gentleman who came to measure (Simon) was very professional and explained the process to me while he made a template for the counter top. He stated that it would probably be 10 -14 days until the tops would be fabricated and installed. I was pleasantly surprised later that afternoon when I received an email from Mario saying that the install date would be the following Thursday, which was only one week! The installers showed up as promised and did a great job. They were very professional and took care to cover my new hardwood floors with drop clothes before they brought any of their equipment in. I am very pleased with the job Factory Plaza did on my counter tops. The price was very reasonable and the work done was high quality. There were no surprises or hidden costs. The granite was even sealed! I plan on using them again in the not too distant future and would recommend them to anyone! Thanks Factory Plaza!!

Factory Plaza provided substandard work with their installer Terrell Goeke. The granite has gaps in between wall and stone, wrong measurement, chipped edges. Sink put in wrong place by Factory Plaza and Terrell Goeke. Used piece of stone put in with scratches and marks, smudges. I would not recommend Factory Plaza or Terrell Goeke to anyone.

I thought it went well but: ceramic tile on the floor was ruined near the front of the dishwasher. The sink faucet that I purchased from The Factory Plaza is of poor quality. It can't be screwed in tightly under the countertop (one year later), and the handle sinks down so I have to hold it up with a rubber band. Cheap faucet.

We are so happy we went with Factory Plaza for our new kitchen countertops! They were significantly cheaper than the other company we spoke with and even suggested ways to save more after the measurements were taken for the template. The whole process took less than 2 weeks from the time we placed our order to the time the countertops were installed. We worked closely with Project Manager Anna Phillips, who was both knowledgeable and helpful. They had an excellent selection of granite in the warehouse and their showroom was phenomenal. The support staff was very nice & gracious. The installers were on time, professional & finished fairly quickly. We would definitely recommend them :)

This was the easiest part of the remodel as from or ding to install they did everything like it should be done and for price the beat offers we had by a lot and even had to order special for one color. The install was easy and they cleaned any thug that was there which was not much as they used vacuum cleaner with any tools they used. We had 40 square feet of tops. Would for sure use them again.

They showed up on time. Tarped off the entire area. They needed to perform one of the cutout cuts while here. They used the Garage and made all the final cuts and installed it perfectly. They cleaned up everything, the countertop, the floor around the island and they did a commendable job sweeping up in the Garage. It took them less than an hour.

This is a follow up post to our initial post on January 14. The earlier post covered the sales process (browsing, selection, sale and scheduling). This just addresses the installation. The installers were on time. They tarped out the entire Kitchen area where they were going to install the granite. They did the final cuts on the granite on-site since we had some unique corners in it. They moved it into place and cleaned off the slab after installation. They cleaned up after themselves and all in it took about 45 minutes. We couldn't be happier.

The two guys that installed the tops could not have been any better the came an put down a drop cloth before starting to work. Tops looked great and so did the house Thanks Anna P for a GREAT JOB at a great price also.

Provider installed custom granite countertops for a deal I purchased online. I conducted my entire business over phone and/or e-mail and had all my questions answered. Their showroom location is quite a distance from me so they mailed me the color sample of the granite I had chosen online. The process from start to finish went smoothly and installation was done quickly and efficiently. Very happy with my new countertops.

It's such a joy to work with people who do what they say they will do, when they say they will do it, for the price they quoted. No haggling, no excuses. Very professional. They came out and measured, wrote up a quote with a drawing and emailed it to me the next day. I knew I wanted a solid white surface. They only had it in Quartz, which was fine by me. When the tops were ready, they set up an appointment, removed the old vanity tops and installed the new ones, cleaning up after themselves. They looked wonderful. They caulked the vanities, too, but since Quartz is so heavy, the caulking later cracked. Don't know if they used the right caulking, but that was a minor thing. The only thing I wished is that they would have installed the faucets. They cut out the holes for them but wouldn't install the faucets, even though they were to be installed in exactly the same place as the original faucets. They just wouldn't do that. I'd understand if we were moving plumbing or using different faucets, but we weren't. Extra cost on our part to find someone to do it. All in all, very professional. If I needed vanity tops again, I'd definitely use them.

The visit to the warehouse was fine. We found the warehouse a lot nicer than most competitors. They have large aisles so you can step back and really see the slabs rather then staring down a valley between two large slabs. The lighting is the best we've seen (seems like all lighting is poor at these warehouses). We worked with Anna Phillips who shows a genuine desire to help consult on the choices we have to make. Once we selected our type of granite they took time to move all of the slabs in that lot to let you see all you could choose from. We were able to take samples so we could match our color scheme at home. When they came to measure that went fine as well. They showed concern about the shape and type of stone we had chosen and gave us some workable options on how they can do the install with the least amount of disruption to the Kitchen. The best visit was the last when we took the template and were able to lay it on the slab we had chosen. By using a little tape Anna showed us the actual layout for the stone, where the fissures were, how the color would change from section to section. This was very helpful to give a a good sense of what it'll look like installed. As I said earlier, once the install occurs, I'll write another review. So far so good.

Fantastic. The seam between the two pieces is now totally hidden and the granite looks great. We are going to work with them again for sure. Very easy to schedule and pre-pay. They did the work on-time, per the appointment and cleaned up. Really nice overall!

I had a great experience with Factory Plaza from start to finish. I was installing new quartz countertops to replace laminated countertops that were part of a customized built in kitchen so I knew the removal of the existing countertops was going to be tricky and I was worried about the existing backsplashes and cabinetry being damaged. I also didn't want to have to spend a lot of time going back and forth to Factory Plaza since I live in downtown Chicago. None of my concerns turned out to be an issue. I only visited the shop once and was greeted by the expert help of Anna Phillips who answered all my questions, made some helpful suggestions, and worked with me to process the order over the phone once I had made my decision. I was given measurement and install dates once I executed the contract and they were very quick. The entire project, from picking out the quartz to installation, took less than a month. The installation went smoothly and the installers were real pros. They installed my undermount sink and cut out the space for my cooktop perfectly. The finished product is high quality and looks beautiful. And all this for a phenomenal price! I would highly recommend Factory Plaza for anyone considering a granite or quartz purchase. I doubt you will be able to beat the quality, price and customer service anywhere else.

Great from start to finish and was the best experience we've ever had working with any contractor. Anna P. was outstanding as a project manager - she gave us a price list and we viewed multiple granite slabs and selected them with no pressure. We provided our measurements and immediately received an estimate. Anna P. gave us a heads up on the lead time for measurement and installation and made sure our construction schedule worked with theirs. Measurement was completed as scheduled and we taped the actual slabs, which was important because we wanted a certain piece cut for the island; Anna P. was very patient with us during the taping process and made suggestions on how to get the best look. Installation was completed as scheduled and the fit, finish and results are amazing. Everyone we worked with at FP are true professionals and they were very timely in responding to our calls, emails and questions. We would highly recommend FP and will be using them for our bathroom project.

I used them before and they did an excellent job and will use them again, keep up the good work.

Factory Plaza was an A+ class act from start to finish. We drove to their business and were warmly greeted by an associate and took our time picking out our granite piece. When finished they took us through step by step of what to expect and asked if we would like to go pick out our slab. We were also given a generous sample piece to take home to show to family and friends. The price can't be matched, and the installation came with the total. They called and came when they said they would. Did I mention they sent someone out to measure prior to installation free of charge? The guy that measured was superb and the guys who installed were phenomenal, I would and will be using them again and have already recommended them to family and friends that I know who are in need of granite. Thank you, Factory Plaza!!!!!

The entire experience was great. We thought the price and selection of the granite were excellent. Mario and Anna were very friendly, helpful and efficient. The installers, Peter & Bob, were also friendly, professional and did a wonderful job. The measurements and planning were very thorough. We appreciate the extra effort that was made to ensure that the granite slabs were cut and installed with a lot of attention to detail. The installation was much better than the installation of the original counter tops. We look forward to working with them all again.

After looking at all the positive reviews on Angie's List, we decided to go with Factory Plaza. Anna S at the warehouse provided excellent customer service. She was very helpful during the process. Our own measurements were confirmed when Factory Plaza came out and measured our counter space - so what was quoted at the beginning was exactly what we paid. I would definitely use again.

Ann S, is fantastic! I went to the warehouse at least 3 times. Anna S. took so much time with me, assisting with my choices, giving me samples to take home, answering all my questions. The gentleman that came out to measure was fantastic and figured a way to get all the granite cut with NO seams. The installers were great and cleaned up nicely. My counters are gorgeous! I had 2 very large counter areas and a desk. The granite is flawless, there are NO seams and it is beautiful quality. I am a real estate agent and have already referred Factory Plaza and Anna S. to two of my clients and will continue to do so.

We shopped around a lot before picking Factory Plaza. We walked into the Factory Plaza, picked the slab, made an appointment for the measurement. Right after one week the technician showed up and took the measurement. I was working with Mario on this project. Mario was very helpful and gave me all the information I needed for the project. Initial install was a month and half after the measurement. But as per my request Mario accommodated early date for the installation. The installation went very well. The technicians were very good and did the job perfect. Everything went well from start to finish. I would definitely recommend using the Factory Plaza services.

Everything went super smoothly, they have great customer service, and all the associates, measurement and install team are very friendly and professional.
