Great! Maurizio and his partner showed up on-time. They laid down floor protection from the front door all the way to the kitchen. They made the repairs, which were done very well. They cleaned and vacuumed any mess and even scrubbed the counters to a nice shine. Maurizio (the owner) explained everything in detail and was very friendly and great to work with.

The owner was very informative on the first visit to our home. He took his time and explained all of our options as well as the pros and cons for each option. Once we received the quote the owner helped us with our granite selection. He even came to the warehouse to inspect the granite slabs we were interested in. The owner did the install. He was very detailed in his measurements and installation of our new countertops. They turned out great! I would highly recommend Avanti Stone.

Needed a granite counter cut quickly and these guys responded, provided a quote, and had it cut in place with no dust 2 days after I contacted them. Priced seem a little high for the time it actually took but it was a specialized project and I needed it done quickly so I was happy to pay it. Plan to quote them again when I need add a piece to the counter to finish our project.

I cannot say enough good things about this company and the guys who came to do the job. Pleasant, polite, punctual and very professional. The counter looks amazing! You can't even tell that it was cut from a bigger piece - the edge is smooth as silk and looks beautiful! Plus, they took the piece out for me to dispose of or use as scrap. Mauritzio is fantastic and quick to respond to my inquiry, too. I messaged him on Angie's List and heard back within that day with an appointment set within two days of our correspondence. Very impressive all around. I will definitely refer them to my friends and family.

Maurizio the owner was punctual the day of the installation. He was very careful when installing granite counter. He took his time to make sure the counter was laid correctly and he was through in explanation of how to care for granite. Customer satisfaction is very important to him!

Excellent. Owner, Maurizio, provides outstanding customer service. He's patient with questions and changes, adjusted estimates as I changed materials, he provides comprehensive instructions on what needs to be done to prepare for the installation, what to expect during installation, impacts on plumbing and gas.

I met with Maurizio last week, and he had multiple slabs of granite from which to choose. He explained the process thoroughly from selecting the stone to the installation and sealing of a new vanity top and sink. I explained that I wanted this done ASAP and he was able come out to measure and ultimately to finish the job even earlier than originally promised. Best of all, the granite is gorgeous and the vanity looks amazing. One of the pipes was old and crumbling and his team pointed this out and replaced it with parts I provided. The previous vanity was removed and everything was cleaned up and left in immaculate condition. I'm extremely pleased with the product and service and will use them for any future granite or stone installations.

Every thing went great each and every detail was taken care of. Maurcio and his staff are the ultimate professionals.

How did it go? -Maruizio is a rock-star! We are so very pleased and happy with our lovely new kitchen and bathroom granite counter-tops! After first talking with Maurizio on the phone; I measured out the space for the new counter-tops, and met with him at his office in Bensenville. During that visit, I selected two remnant pieces for the bathrooms; there was quite a variety of different colors of granite (and a few quartz) from which to choose. For the kitchen, he asked a few questions on our budget and preferences, and then provided advice on what to look for and printed out a listing of stone suppliers/importers, and the hours they were open. Based on the measurements, he said we needed to select two slabs of the same color/family at the supplier, and once we were sure of our choice, to be sure to have them tag the slabs with our names. -All we had to tell the supplier was that we were working with Avanti Stone, and they put our name on the selected slabs. We did not have to pay the supplier separately, (the cost was included in our estimate) and Maurizio arranges for the stone to be delivered to his shop for the fabrication work. Maurizio, who had supplied the estimate via email (which is very handy for us), said the timing of the installation was up to us, just to let him know a date and he would do his best to accommodate our schedule. He came out to the house to take the detailed measurements, answered all of our questions, and offered us great advice on how to solve a problem, (which resulted in us gaining extra counter-top space by adding a new base cabinet.) We just LOVE having this new useful workspace, and all due to his great suggestion; we provided Maurizio a down payment at this time. We decided to do our own demo to save a few dollars, so on the day of installation, everything was ready for the expert to begin his work. We followed Maurizio's advice on having the kitchen and bathroom cabinets cleaned out and the workspace clear so they could more easily work. -The installation was done with great skill and precision, the men worked very hard and it is very evident how much pride is taken in the work done. -Maurizio works as if he is installing the stone in his own home, -truly. Without hesitation, I/we highly recommend Maurizio of Avanti Stone for the his professionalism, his expertise, his attention to detail, the great communication by phone or email, ...and best of all, he's all around a great guy to work with!

Avanti Stone did an amazing job installing our new granite countertops. We couldn't be happier! The differences between Avanti and other fabricators was evident immediately. Maurizio took the time to answer all of my initial questions over the phone and always reiterated that there was no commitment necessary. He even came out to our home to see the space and answer our questions, again without a commitment. Another fabricator wanted 70% down before they would visit our home. As first time home owners, we wanted to make an informed decision and part of that, of us, included having an in-home consultation. Maurizio went above and beyond throughout the entire process: phone calls, meeting us at the warehouse to see the stone, and talking through the intricacies of working with the type of stone we chose. One of my biggest concerns was the seams and they did an absolutely amazing job. They are hardly noticeable, even with the difficult pattern in our stone. The end result is beautiful - we have amazing countertops that we love to see and use every day. Thank you Maurizio and Avanti Stone!

Maurizio is a class act in every aspect. The care and attention to detail before, during and after the job was flawless. My mother who is a clean freak commented that you could hardly tell they were doing the work as there was NO mess at all. I would highly recommend Avanti Stone. We love our kitchen.

We own a 125 year old home with uneven floors. The contractor worked around this problem and when our counters were installed, they were perfect. Everyone who comes to the hours now raves about the workmanship and beauty of the counters. This includes a neighbor who is a master carpenter.

Avantistone installed the granite countertops and backsplash in our kitchen. Though we purchased a deal in Angiestlist, like many other providers, we were not forced to choose our granite from a very limited types. Infact, Maurizio met us at granite supplier place and spent good amount of time with us answering all our questions, educating and helping us with the right granite selection. He even offered help us with the matching back splash selection. Everything from our first call to final install went very smooth, punctual and very professional. The appointment and work were carried out in a quick and efficient manner. We went back and forth with our backsplash selection. He was polite and helped us change our initial selection of backsplash. He even went above and beyond to help us save time and effort by picking the tiles from his nearby store the previous night for us. On the whole it was a very pleasant experience working with Maurizio and the team. In the future too, we will work with him for any future needs and would not hesitate to recommend him to friends and family.

Maurizio was very thorough with the explanation, the install, and making sure that were completely satisfied with the new counter tops. It was a very easy process which started with picking out the granite. After going to the warehouse and choosing the one we wanted all the information was sent to Avanti and they were installing it two weeks later. They were very clean and caring while installing at our home and it was as if they were never even there other than the great counter tops. After the install Maurizio gave some great tips and tricks on keeping the Granite as fresh as the day it was installed and insisted that if I have any further questions or concerns that I should not hesitate to call him.

I called Maruirizio several time to ask questions before asking him to come out and give us an estimate. He was incredibly patient with my many questions. He came out to look at the job and emailed me an estimate the next day.. I felt that the price estimate was very competitive and I accepted it. We went to pick out the granite slab and he told us that once the slab was delivered to his shop it would take about 2 weeks to prepare it. Once it was ready for installation, he emailed me with a proposed installation date at the end of the week. He advised me how to prepare for the installation and they arrived right on time. The team was extremely careful in my home and rolled up my rugs and put down runners to protect the floors. They worked steadily and straight through lunch. They moved the refrigerator for us which I appreciated since my husband had shoulder surgery and couldn't do it. They cleaned up as they went along. Maurizio was at the house almost the whole day assisting with the install. The job took a little longer than they expected due to a less than ideal plumbing situation under our sink that caused them a lot of extra work.. But in spite of that obstacle they still resolved it and finished the whole thing the same day just as Maurizio had estimated. It was not an easy installation job because in addition to the weird plumbing set up, absolutely nothing in my house is plumb, flush, or square. They worked really hard to make it perfect. I really appreciate their effort and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. The whole experience with Maruizio and the Avanti Stone team was great and the counters and sink look wonderful.. I would highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.

I have looked for a countertop and stone under counter contractors for a couple of years. I go to all of the home shows and see all of the available vendors. How do you know who is the right one? I sent out 4 bids to resources that I found on Angie's list and Avanti Stone was one of them. Avanti Stone was the 2nd lowest bid, so I had Maurizio Cucinella - owner of Avanti Stone visit my home to finalize the details and layout of the bid. After 10 minutes I knew that Maurizio knew his stuff. I gave Avanti Stone the contract and everything went well. Maurizio coordinated the install to happen after my replacement windows were installed, and showed up on Monday morning, at the promised time. The installation happened on time, the workers were clean and courteous, and I could tell that they were professionals. The project went well and both my wife and I are very pleased.with the result. Avanti Stone and the Maurizio Cucinella Tean get an A+ for their design, installation quality, and attention to detail. Tony the stone guy is incredible with his ability to lay out, space and install a complex stone and glass mosaic pattern. Maurizio was very involved with the project from start to finish which made it a great experience. He and his crew did excellent work, they cleaned up after themselves, and the price was competitive with the other estimates that we received.

They didn't follow our instructions during the installation of the tile which resulted in some tile being wasted and an increase in the project's final cost. They were professional and courteous, however, and they made some reparations. Ultimately, it was a mixed experience, and we probably won't use the company again.

Dealt with Maurizio he was helpful and gueded us through project we remodeled our home. never went through a big project. always giving us options. I felt he was always looking out for our best interest.
