Great work by Avanti Stone. They were communicative during the quoting process, got us scheduled very quickly and did clean, beautiful, and fast work. Very pleased with our backsplash installation!

Maurizio and his crews are truly one of the best contractors I’ve ever worked with. I am on the condo board for our building and we had three of our foyers retiled. It is a very old building so the existing flooring was severely off-level in many areas. Prior to starting the project, I had many questions which Maurizio thoroughly answered. From the material purchase to the final finishing details, Maurizio stayed in communication with me throughout the way. I will tell you that I have never worked with a contractor that was as organized and communicative as Maurizio. During the construction period, Maurizio either called or texted me at the end of the work day to provide a summary of what was done and if there were any areas we needed to stay off. The crew on the project was also outstanding. They arrived at the building every weekday on time and worked efficiently. They are skilled in their trade and miraculously leveled the flooring in our foyers. Maurizio estimated that the project would take two weeks and the crews finished in that timeframe. After years of managing projects, Avanti is the only contractor I’ve worked with that has kept to their proposed timeframe! Thank you to Maurizio and his team for making this process so smooth. We love our new beautiful foyers!

I hired Avanti Stone to help me install a new marble fireplace mantel that I ordered from a mantel seller. I was glad that I found Avanti Stone. Not many companies do this kind of work. The mantel seller told me to reach out to stone masons but none of the masons I called do interior work. Maurizio, the owner, was responsive, polite and reliable. He always responded to text, emails, calls within the next business day. He maintained a good communication with me throughout the process. He was easy to work with and explained things very carefully to me. The entire crew worked hard and was professional. Maurizio is someone that makes you feel confident that he can deliver. The team was clean and left no mess behind. I was very pleased with the outcome of the installation. Not many people I found on Angie’s List did this kind of installation, so I cannot comment much on the price. However, I got another quote and the price of Avanti Stone was comparable with the other company. I chose to work with Avanti Stone because Maurizio seemed more enthusiastic with the job than the other company. I would definitely consider Avanti Stone for any future stone work.

Project went very well. Maurizio and his team installed new quartz countertops in a big kitchen and installed tin backsplash. Included in the job was putting quartz on a breakfast bar attached to the main countertop. On the first day of the job, Maurizio took apart the breakfast bar and realized that the underlying structure was too weak to support the quartz countertop. He devised a way to build up the breakfast bar by adding supports to the adjoining wall and slightly modifying the width of the quartz piece that was to be placed on the breakfast bar. Despite the additional work, Maurizio and team finished the project in 3 days as originally planned. Maurizio was very communicative throughout the project - he and his team were polite, professional, and cleaned up well when everything was completed. I am very happy with the outcome and would use Avanti Stone for future work.
