Description of Work: I had asked 3 roofing contractors for bids. Kanga Roof was the only one that required my presence on the job site. Their representative immediately told me that I had hail damage and that I should contact my insurance agent. He said he would like to meet onsite with the adjuster. While I waited, he took roof measurements and asked for my input on a variety of things, all the while making comments about how difficult it was to bid the job for one reason or another. In the following weeks he called me a couple of times to tell me why it was a difficult job to do and what methods they could use to address what he saw as difficult issues. I finally asked him to give me a verbal ballpark figure and he told me to do it right that it would be roughly $30,000. I told him the building was worth only about $130,000. He left me one more message later that week and I never heard from him again - he never mailed me a bid of any kind. The other two roofing contractors I called came back with bids of $10,400 and $10,500! Both of them mailed me a bid in the form of a contract I could sign and return to them. I can't make any claims about their work because I obviously didn't give them the contract but I won't call them again for any reason.
