Description of Work: there was paint on rails, floors and white trim that was never cleaned up. Was told I could keep the left over paint from Certapro and the painter said no and left a half can. He belittled his co-worker. When I called to complain, was told to use soap and water to clean up paint.

They even went a little beyond the call of duty in helping complete work in a way that exceeded what was asked. | |We discussed one problem that occurred with sanding dust being left in areas that had just been carefully cleaned by another company. This problem was resolved to our satisfaction.

+ -1 moreThe estimate was around $4000. I chose to go with another company because they were less expensive. I did use their color coordinator. I called and had her come in separately and took her advice on the colors. I was pleased with their price as well as the color coordinator. I wanted multiple quotes. CertaPro Painters of Belleville also provided me with color coordinators and cards that were on Angie’s List. I didn’t go with them as this is a much bigger house and I had a lot of work I had to do on it to get it ready in the next 7 months. I was shopping as well. I would have used them if there was really a difference in the price at the time. Their price was a good $1000 more compared to the other company for the same area that was going to be painted. I have a basement too that has more rooms. Once I get it cleared, I plan on calling both the companies for another quote.
Description of Work: I got an estimate from CertaPro Painters of Belleville a few weeks ago. They would have painted my upstairs which has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, family room, reading room, living room, laundry room, dining and kitchen area.
