This was our 2nd time to use this company. They painted all my hallways and nooks and crannies last time. Only company I will ever use.

Weather played a critical role. The job was schedules twice and had to be rescheduled because of rain. I was notified as soon as they had an opening. Once they got started, all went smoothly. Yes, they worked on a holiday.

They were curtesous and asked several times about the areas to be included. All done in one day — hall, stairwell, and front door and sidelights inside. Two coats. The baseboards were caulked and painted.

Painters were courteous, on time and were very concerned with the quality of their work.

Mark was very efficient and flexible around my schedule. He was great and did a nice job.

Mark was ontime, friendly, kept the place clean, and the finished product was excellent.

These folks were great. Quality of work was excellent and they completed the job ahead of schedule. I would definitely hire them again.

Great. The person worked efficiently and completed the job in a timely manner. I had contacted Home Advisor for bids on the same project, was given 5 names that I contacted and had no response. Went on my own contacting CertaPro and was very happy I did. Won't ever bother with Home Advisor again.

They did good timing and finishing.

They are excellent. They always arrived on time. They took two fifteen minutes breaks during the day, and that was it. They did a job that should have taken four or fives days, done in two days, and stayed late to finish up the second day. Very professional, customer service is excellent. They have a very strong team leader. They were nice guys. They were polite. It probably is a little bit higher. I got them out of St. Louis. A little bit higher, but they were worth it.

Went very smooth from start to finish. No complaints at all.

Please keep in mind that CertaPro Painters are independently owned and operated franchises. I’m reviewing my experience with the Belleville, Illinois franchise. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a contractor. I contracted with CertaPro Painters to fix cracked drywall tape lines along a vaulted bedroom ceiling/walls, reapply popcorn texture to the repair areas, paint the ceiling, remove wallpaper from one wall, apply texture to that wall, and to paint the entire bedroom. The estimate was fair and professionally conducted by Jim, the franchise owner. The repair/painting crew arrived two weeks later (Saturday), laid drop cloth down, moved a lot of equipment/black boxes into my bedroom and upstairs hallway, then left to get paint. They returned 4 hours later to drop off paint and left for the day. By Sunday night, very little had been done (2 hours of work). I called Jim to express my concern and was assured that the job would be completed by Monday night. The crew boss called and asked if he could work late Sunday night, so I arranged to stay somewhere else. I returned home Monday morning to find that he had spent the entire night in my house - presumably working. He explained that he was having personal housing and vehicle issues. I was concerned about the quality of the work as I could see bubbles behind repaired tape lines. I told him to get some sleep and to slow the work down in an attempt to help this guy recover from some unfortunate luck. The following week was excuse after excuse why he couldn’t be at my house working – only showing up on Wednesday for a few hours. I took off work on Friday to wait for him with the intention of asking him to pack his stuff and leave (he had begun storing items for other jobs in my garage). He would show up at my house to move things in and out of my garage but perform no work. I called Jim at 9am on Friday and asked him to come to my house. The crew boss arrived shortly after Jim and I was asked if I would allow him to finish the job. They assured me it would be finished by Friday evening. I gave in and agreed to allow him to finish. He and his crew worked until 1pm and left. On Saturday morning, his excuse for not finishing was that he was thrown in jail on Friday night. He left 2 guys at my house on Saturday and left. At 4pm, I walked into my bedroom to find paint on my ceiling (large roller marks), paint on my window sashes/door trim, paint on my carpeting, damaged ceiling fan blades (damaged earlier in the week) and spray texture dripping from the ceiling. The ceiling had not been painted, yet they were painting the walls? I called the crew boss and asked him to get back to my house, pack his stuff and leave. I was surprised Jim had not checked in with me given my concerns the day before. Jim came over on Sunday, saw the condition of the room and apologized. He promptly brought in another contractor on Monday evening to review the job. The new contractor started a week later and had the job completed in 2 days. I am pleased with the results. However, I will be spending the weekend trying to remove grey paint from white window sashes/trim/carpeting and reinstalling window treatment hardware. I paid the original contracted price minus the cost of 2 extra gallons of paint used by the second contractor. I am extremely disappointed in the management of the job. I’m a single woman who contracted with a name brand company for peace of mind and received the opposite. The first contractor had an interesting cast of characters coming in and out of my home who were ultimately unqualified. I have successfully worked with other contractors in the past to have a kitchen remodeled, a basement finished and a deck built. I never dreamed a simple one room drywall repair/painting job would be so upsetting. I sincerely hope my experience is an isolated incident and all parties can learn from it.

Group was on time and did a professional job.
