It went well. The salesman was not pushy and I appreciate that. They also accurately estimated the cost of the job.

Painter were very professional. On time. And made sure that the mess was cleaned up before they left. Took the time to tell us of every step and any issues that came up.

They got paint on my curtains and on my bedspread and they broke the foot on my armour. It is a very expensive armour (and the curtain and bedspread were not cheap either!) They tried to fix all of the issues but the chemical they used ate through my bedspread. I also had to have them come back because they missed several spots. I was not very happy and I did complain to the company.

We dealt with the Certa Pro president, and he came to our home, and we went through all our details, and gave us an estimate, and we were very impressed with him. He told us who would be doing the actual work, and that person came in and did the work.

I had most of the bathroom emptied except for the vanity lights. They removed them and my wall to wall mirror. They had the colors that I had picked out in May when I talked with Jim,the estimator. The three of them painted my ceiling, walls, baseboards, in my bathroom. They had to cover a dark green with red paint on my front door. They were working in some limited lighting due to the vanity lights being mostly off. They did a wonderful job and I'm happy with the color and their cleanup after. They had to match the color of old paint from the year 2000 and they aced it. Nice job!

The bid portion of the job went well. The gentleman showed up on time, and was knowledgeable and professional. Things went downhill from there. One of the painters assigned to prep and pressure wash the deck called and said he would be out on a specific day and time. No show. No phone call. He finally showed up several days later and said that a part on his washer broke. He also tried to tell us that our deck really didn't need pressure washed. We respectfully disagreed as it was obvious that the deck needed some preparation in order to get good results, not to mention that it was part of what we agreed to pay for. He left. The following week or so, a couple of guys showed up to do the painting. I informed them that the deck hadn't been pressure washed yet. They were surprised and obviously hadn't been communicated to. I offered to let them try to use my pressure washer to prep the deck. They were game and tried hard to get it started, but the washer hadn't been used in several years and had varnished up. They finally had to give it up and left. I appreciated their effort. The first painter came back with a working washer and prepped the deck. A day or so later he came back and stained the deck. He did not do a very good job. Many, many areas of the deck were missed, and it was obvious. He did not adequately protect under the deck (the deck is on an upper level of our home), and quite a bit of stain dripped onto the concrete patio below. He made no initial attempt to clean this up that I could tell. The owner of the franchise called a few days later to arrange for payment. I explained my dissatisfaction with the work. He came to our home to look the job over and agreed that some things needed to be cared for. After some time, the first painter came back out and stained some of the areas he missed, and made some attempt to get the stain off our patio. When I got home and could inspect the deck, I found that there were still many areas that were missed, and that there was still stain on the patio. The owner and I talked again. He came out for another look and agreed that the job still wasn't right. The painter came back out and finally finished the job in a reasonably appropriate way, although I'll probably always have dark blotches on my patio from the dripped stain. To sum things up, the owner was reasonable and seemed to care that the job wasn't well done. He stayed on it until I was satisfied. But the painter assigned to our job was terrible. He never showed up when he said he would. He never called to say he wouldn't be able to make the appointment. (I'm just glad this was an exterior job and I didn't have to take off work to be home for another missed appointment). And it took him three tries to do the job the way it should have been done the first time. Ultimately we got our deck stained and it does look good. But this experience was way more time consuming, arduous and frustrating than it should have been.

They were great, personable and did everything I asked them to do, including changes. They worked well with us. They were excellent. The guy was here everyday at the same time and worked all day. He cleaned up after himself.

I have nothing but praise for the estimator and painters. Everything was done quickly and flawlessly. We had a lot of questions which were answered paitently. If we noticed anything it was taken care of immediately. They could have sprayed our exterior, which would have been expedient and cheaper for them. They decided to roll the stain on which takes longer and used more stain, but was what we really needed. They put us before their profit. Nothing for praise for Shannon and his team.

The owner of the company came out and gave me the estimate. He then told me he would have a team of painters out. The painters are all subbed out. The supervisor was obnoxious. He yelled at me and broke my furniture and lied to me about it. The painting supervisor was talking pricing with me when I already had a price. I have not called them back because I don't want them back in my home.

Very friendly guy to work with, but because of the rain this summer, the work was postponed many times. When it could finally be done, he showed up with broken equipment. Another delay. While power washing the house, one section between windows at the rear of the house was overlooked. My husband had to finish the job. Except for that section, we were very pleased with end result. If we had to do it again, we would rent powerwasher and do it ourselves and save the money.

The work turned out good. They arrived on time and put everything back to where it belonged. One thing I didn’t like is that they did clean their tools in my backyard. The painting itself was done good.

Went fine. i thought their price was on the high side, but they did what they were contracted to do and on time and cleaned up afterwards so I have no complaints.

I knew we were in trouble as soon as they arrived. When the crew showed up there was one pro painter, one apprentice and one who was supposed to be an apprentice. The line between the walls and the ceiling was crooked. The ceiling looked terrible, they either missed areas are the did not put on enough paint. They used flat pint instead of eggshell. We have been finding little dabs of paint on all our furniture since they left. There were paint footprints on the hardwood hallway floor. They were supposed to put on two coats and they only did one. They came back to fix the areas. After they left we found more areas that were either not painted or painted with not enough paint. When we had the new flooring put in the workers had to move two large units and we found where they had not painted around three outlets. We did not have them do the baseboards and they took off $100. They had charged $275 to paint the baseboards. The owner said he would have them come back out and fix everything, but we had the new flooring all ready down and did not want to run the risk of getting paint on the new flooring that would ruin it. Or they would have to move the large furniture to get to the outlets and scratch up the hardwood and put a tear in the carpeting. When the paint gets a little soil on it and my wife goes to clean it the paint come off. I would not have CertaPro Painters paint a bird house. They did not offer to return any of our money.

I had a problem with the cabinets and they did a good job on that.

Good overall.Used an assistant to do some painting in some areas and those were not as professional looking as other areas.

Jim the owner came to our house and looked at the job. Gave us a bid and after some small negotiations due to a golf tournamnt auction purchase for an amount off we came up with an amount we agreed to. Christmas was coming up and he agreed to get it done before the holidays. starting the first week in December for potentialy 2 days. The day they were due to start the job they did not show. I took off work 2 days to be at home and let them in but they never did show. Called the owner Jim who is very nice and professional asking what was going on and he was unaware they were not there. Said he had to make a few phone calls to see what was up and would call me back. Hours later I talked to him and he was not sure where the painters were and could not reach them. Owner never did get a hold of them that day and also had not made contact with them the following day so the 2 days I took off to get this done was lost. The owner then asked if it was Ok to do the job after the holidays in January. I told him that was not an option with us since we had tore the room apart to get ready for this including taking down pictures, curtains and blinds, wall paper, moving furniture around and even removing some furniture to other areas to clear out room to paint. Beside the fact Christmas was coming and the room was tore up now. point of no return He then called and told us he had a 2 man crew lined up from another job that they will come and get it done in 1 day vs 2 days cause they had to get back to other job they were working on. had to get it done that day. The origianl crew was MIA. The new crew came after my son let them in and did the job in one day. They left my house around 8pm that night dtermined to get it done. Did a good job painting room considering the fact we thought it was rushed to get it done. One issue was a wall we had wallpaper on that left wall with some uneven areas that needed to be leveled out with joint compound. We had showed this during the bid process but it never got communicated to painters so they just painted the wall without leveling it out. Painter told me he did not know about this and if he did he would have brought what he needed to do it right. He was not happy with it. Seems like a painting company would have materials to handle any situation especially one as common as this. Also found paint on leather couch and brass light in dining room. Asked the one painter to clean off an area of baseboard that had paint on it. There were other areas of baseboard I cleaned up that weekend. Overall the room looked very nice but if it wasnt for the vaulted ceiling, I know I could have done it as well or even better. Interesting chain of events during the process and I know some of the stuff was out of the owners control. He offered to come back to fix the wallpaper wall which I was wanting done but my wife did not want them back to do it. Was ready to move on to our next house adventure.

My experience with CertaPro was very good. I appreciated the one on one contact in my home to fully explain all the work that was to be done. I also appreciated the follow-up from Jim (my original contact point) after each step was completed. Anthony, who performed the power washing and staining/sealing was both professional and courteous. He was careful to be sure the area was finished to my specifications and made sure the work area was cleaned up after the job was done.

They were good, very courteous, efficient, quality job. good to work with.
