Description of Work: I had a leaking shower head caused by a bad faucet valve. I had ignored it for weeks and the leak had progressed from a drip to a steady stream before I finally called manning. They first attempted to repair the existing valve (a relatively cheap repair) and only when that didn't work did they replace the part. Even with a valve (and complimentary shower head) replacement the cost was still very good.

Description of Work: Clint Mann was very fair and professional. He explained everything. Also, I had him look at the pipe that was attached to the toilet and he explained that I would not fall through the floor because the pipe supported the toilet and that he can put a board or something to support it further which I will eventually have him do. He was fair in a way in which he gave me a break on the price because when he rooted out the pipe outside the bathroom it was not bad.

Description of Work: 2nd Time User of ManMade Plumbing. As with the first time, Clint was "the Mann". We had a new hot water heater installed with new gas hook-ups. We are also converting our old "wood" fireplace to a ventless gas log fireplace and Clint ran the necessary gas lines from the back to the front of the house (indoors) into the existing fireplace wood box.

Description of Work: Last night the tub next to the washing machine plugged up. This morning I pulled the U tube under the tub expecting to find it full of lint from draining the washing machine, even though I use lint catchers. However, the pipe was clean. So I knew that this problem was beyond my capability. I looked up Clint Mann on Angie's list and since he had a good rating called him. He answered and within two hours was working on the problem in my basement. After an hour of roto-rooting with his snake and drill tool he broke through the blockage that turned out to be tree roots. Evidently the neighbors 40 foot high trees roots go under my basement. So Clint did replace some of the old metal piping with new plastic, and he said the pipe that goes into the floor will eventually have to be replaced since they poured lead around it and it is deteriorating. I said that when that time comes he can also replace the tub since it's about 50 years old. So I give Clint a very good overall rating. Anthony J Jordan After Clint's visit on 15 November 2012 all went well until Saturday, 1 December 2012 when a combination of rags, paper toweling, cooking oil, and tampons plugged the sewerage pipe where it dumps into the street piping. So Clint and associate came with a large roto-rooter and cleaned out the blockage. I had the mistaken idea that dumping cooking oil in the toilet would "lubricate" the sewer pipes and make them "flow" better. So now all the above items are forbidden to be placed in the toilet. Also his advice is that twice a year I dump a container of root killing copper sulfate in the toilet and flush it, then wait 6 hours before running any water. This designed to keep the piping clean and free of tree roots that grow into and block the pipes.

Description of Work: Clint came out to inspect out pipes in the bathroom and in the kitchen which were described as "slow draining" by an inspection that was done due to the sale of my home. Clint inspected and indicated that neither were slow draining. Clint has the opportunity to take advantage of the situation and absolutely did NOT. He also fixed a sump pump that has made a loud thumping noise for the past 5 years...it took him not time at all and the thumping was gone! I would say thumbs up to Clint and I will use him EVERY time I need a plumber!
