Bought an Angie's List deal for sewer cleaning by Mann Made Plumbing for $260. Was contacted for an appointment one day later. Worker (Matt) showed up on the date and time promised. Although problems were encountered and the procedure took almost four hours and required Matt to depart my house to obtain stronger equipment, Mann Made Plumbing stood by the coupon price without trying to gouge more money out of me by nit-picking details. I MAY repeat May need further work but for now the problem has been resolved. It is sure a breath of fresh air to deal with a honest company like Mann Made Plumbing.

I spoke to Clint the week before and explained the work that I needed done. When Matt arrived he took one look at my old water heater and realized that the one quoted would not work. I was not aware that my old water heater was a "power vent" type which is not a typical set up. Matt proceeded to do the work on my ice maker line and Clint called me back with a new quote for the installation of a Bradford-White Power Vent water heater. We rescheduled the water heater installation for the following week. I was very impressed with Matt. He was on time on both dates and went right to work getting the jobs done. The copper tubing for the water line needed to be routed through an entire wall of kitchen cabinets and he took the time to do a very professional job. I believe that installation of the water heater was a bit more involved as well as he needed to route the new PVC exhaust pipe through the exterior wall of our house but once again, job well done! I will definitely use Mann Made Plumbing for any future plumbing work.

On 9/29/14, we purchased the coupon on Angie's List for sewer rodding and camera inspection, with drain cleaning for $260. Clint contacted us right away and we scheduled our appointment for Thursday, 10/2/14. Matt was sent out. He was running a little behind but he was considerate and called to let us know. Matt rodded the sewer and cleaned the drain and then ran the camera. He found a problem and said they would get back with an estimate on Monday. Our shut off valves to the washing machine were leaking and we asked if he would replace them since he was there. He said since he was already there, the price would be $65 so we had that done also. On Saturday, 10/4/14 we had a problem with the laundry sewer. Thinking it was related to the sewer rodding and drain cleaning we had done we called Mann Made Plumbing. Matt came out and rodded the p-trap but it did not fix the problem because it was related to the work that needed to be done in the estimate. We were not charged for this visit. Matt was very nice and explained everything. We would use them again.

Called Mann Made Plumping for a quote to fix my old toilet, talked to Clint, set a appointment for him to come out and have a look. Very nice experience, what made it better is that I did not have to do the work myself!! Clint was very professional, called me to say that he was running a little late, but other than that, everything went very smoothly!!

Arrived on time. Removed and drained old water heater (50 gallon gas water heater - 25 yrs old) Replaced water heater with 50 gallon - gas Bradford White and put on new dielectric fittings and flue pipe. Removed old water heater and hauled away. Removed old wash tup next to washing machine. Replaced with new tub and faucet (we supplied tub and faucet set) Removed old 20yr old Maytag dishwasher and removed from house. Installed dishwasher (Maytag - $699 - we provided. This was a major challenge due to ceramic flooring and granite countertop which were added after the dishwasher was installed - extremely tight fit with minimal top clearance. Took off rear wheels and carefully slid in the unit and secured. Took time to get electrical hook up, made modifications to connect water through the base of the kitchen sink delta faucet. Slick installation. Powered up and it was ready to go. Last job was a leaking cold water sink faucet valve - delta widespread. In all Clint worked continuously for three hours until all the scheduled work was done. I also had them estimate the remodel plans we have for our upstairs bedroom bathroom. I would use them again and highly recommend them. Completely satisfied - Thanks Clint

Owner returned my call promptly and gave me very good advise about what to do for my specific issue which was installing a new tankless water heating unit on the home I am currently building in Valpo. I will definitely use their service when I am ready!

Everything went very well. Talked with the owner one day and had worker out the next ...as this was in no way an emergency I was pleased with the timing. Worker was courteous, professional and had the new disposal with him so no wait for parts. He cleaned up afterward and the new disposal works great! I would definitely use again.

There was an issue with the billing, but I discussed the problem with the owner and he satisfied my issue. Quick service. Reasonable pricing.

matt from the company came. owner always responds quickly if not answers the phone right away. priced right, came same day, fixed the problem. we have used Mann a few times and have been happy with the experiences.

I received a call back with in an hour to replace our broken sub pump. Clint was very professional and replaced our pump quickly. We called at noon and had a new pump in by 3pm.

It was fine. The guy was relatively on time. I had purchased the faucet ahead of time but decided to have it done professionally when the cold water shutoff valve froze and wouldn't work. Also the laundry room sink is just a cramped pain to work on. He changed the sink and the shutoff pretty quickly, then went to work in the basement. The basement had two calcified saddle valves leading from the main hot water line to the furnace humidifiers. One of the humidifiers wasn't working, so I had to tread carefully when I was trying to work on it, since the shut off on the saddle didn't work. I thought that one day it might cause a disaster, so I just asked him to replace them. He did that fairly quickly too. The final price matched the one he mentioned before the job. It would have been nice if he had replaced the hot water shutoff on the laundry room sink too out of courtesy, but that one is still working anyhow. So no real complaints.

The service man was very professional and informed me what I needed and why. He ordered the back-up system and installed it as stated on the Saturday. The company even allowed me a coupon deal on the new back-up even though the coupon was for another system that I did not have and could not use anyway. The installation took about 1 half hour or so and he took my old system with him. I would use this company again for any plumbing needs that may arise.

I was very pleased with what they did and their follow thru. They did what they said they they were going to do and when as well. I will use them in the future with any and all of my plumbing needs.

He is coming back tomorrow, I was very pleased with his work and price. His knowledge and professionalism stood out to me. Clinton Mann is very good person to work with. He was very knowledgeable about pluming, when I had another problem with pluming, I called him again. He has good customer service and personality. I was impressed with his knowledge. He worked quickly and gave me suggestions in terms of what I may want to do in the future. The quality was good. He came out here fast and he was on time.

He was very good. He came out and saw that it was a different problem than what I have thought it was and he didn't charge for that visit and then he came back out with the stuff the way it needed to be done and he took care of it within the next day or so. The quality was very good. I would definitely use him again.

Clint looked at kitchen piping and basement PVC. He used an auger he said about 30 feet cleared pipes. Drain working fine he was here about 30 minutes

On Thursday afternoon I found out my basement was flooded. Not knowing what to do I called my insurance company but they did not recommend a plumber. After calling numerous plumbers in Indiana to no avail, I finally found Mann Made plumber on Angie's List. I wasn't sure they would come out as they were listed in Illinois and I live in Indiana. By this time it was late in the day and when the owner found out I had standing water in the basement he made arrangements to come out immediately. I can't tell you how important that was to me as I couldn't bare having standing water in my home. His worker came out and was very pleasant. Prior to his arrival I did research to make sure I would get a good pump installed. I showed the worker the pumps I found online and was very pleased to find out that the pump he was installing was of high quality. As soon as the pump was installed the water began receeding. I have to tell you I'm not the easiest person to work with as I always want the best quality for the best price. That means research and questions. The worker and owner couldn't have been nicer. I was very pleased with the results provided by this company as I felt the owner really cared. My impression is that they do quality work at a fair price. I will definitely use them in the future if needed.

Matt called about 40 minutes before the scheduled appointment time to give me his estimated time of arrival. He was wrapping up another job in Valparaiso when he called. When he arrived I explained the issues we were having and he went right to work. First he located the sewer drain cleanout and brought in the equipment he needed. The cap was rusted in to the cleanout so he cut it out and replaced with a new cap when he was finished. It had been a long time since the drain had been cleared, so it took a little longer than expected, since there were lots of tree roots that had grown into the drain pipe. After clearing the drain, he used a special camera to look down the drain to show me that things had been cleared out. Then he snaked out the bathroom sink drain we were having issues with and replaced all of the old pop-up drain, traps and pipe under the sink. The entire job took about 3 hours. Matt was very professional and took time to explain everything he was doing at every step of the way. He also cleaned up after the job was done. I had compared prices before contacting Mann Made Plumbing, and with their Angie's List special the price was very fair and the work was done well. There was some additional work done above and beyond the special with some additional time and hardware, but I was comfortable with the total price and the job that was done.

The appointment started off on the wrong foot. I asked for the afternoon off at work to be at my place when service provider arrive. How ever, 15 minutes into the time of appointment, service provider was not at show. I placed a call to find out if they were on their way? Clint (owner) apologized for not calling to inform he was running late. They arrived 30 minutes later from the original appointment. Matt (the tech) checked the sump pump, asked me questions about the unit, checked for water filtration, etc. After his evaluation, he discussed with me 3 different options and made sure I understood each one. After carefully considering my options, I decided to change the whole unit (regular). Matt walked me through the whole process and showed me what I needed to know about the new sump pump. He even checked outside and suggested me to get some pipes longer from the ones I have to prevent the water coming back into the basement. Overall, I think I received a very good service. Matt made me feel at ease and I feel confident enough to use their services again in the future. Everybody deserves a second chance! :-)

I called and talked to Clint about my old 50 gallon powervent 14 year old water heater that was leaking, which really never provided the amount of hot water that I needed. I told Clint that I needed a 75 gallon powervent water heater. He quoted me a price on a Bradford White model. I mentioned AngiesList, and Clint told me about the 10% off coupon on AngieList. We set up an installation appointment. I checked internet pricing on the particular model of the proposed Bradford White water heater and Clint's price was very competitive. Mann Made Plumbing showed up on time, replaced my water heater. I had a bad gas shut-off valve and they replaced that also. Total cost was the estimate cost less 10%. They hauled the old water heater away. Most important, when I turn on the hot water on my faucet, I have hot water and pleny of it. It works great and I am completely satisfied with the new hot water heater and Mann Made Plumbing.

Clint was very professional every step of the way. Communicated very well and was always on time. The plumping work came out fine and his crew of carpenters did a great job. One wall in the upstairs bathroom had to be replaced and the ceiling in the downstairs also needed replaced. The work came out looking great. An all around fantastic job. Saved me from having to throw the entire two rooms in the dumpster and replace everything. I would hire them again without hesitation. Great communication, explanations, honesty and friendliness. Wonderful.

My experience with Mann Made Plumbing was very good. I spoke with them by phone first and was instructed to purchase the service off of Angie's List. Shortly after making purchase, the appointment was made. The technician arrived on time and ready to work. He inspected the area, checked out the basement and pretty much knew what the issue was before he started. He quickly found the clog and remedied the problem. Going above and beyond, he saw that part of the problem was a pipe without a cap that had been buried many years ago. He found a cap that would work and capped it at no extra charge. He also spoke to my wife explaining the issue (I had to leave for an appointment), documenting the issue on the receipt. He was professional and nice. I will definitely be using them again.
