Mike is very knowledgeable, patient and honest. In three words - GREAT GREAT GREAT!!!! He was the only person to give us an honest (i.e. more cost effective) solution to our water problem. Would absolutely hire him again for water, drainage, waterproofing issues.

We were at our wit's end trying to locate the source of water that was entering our utility room causing damage to our carpet and creating mold on the drywall. The last incompetent plumber who had come out told us we had a foundation leak hence I called the waterproofers for an estimate. Mike arrived, checked where the water was and quickly determined it was not a foundation leak. He decided to to some troubleshooting to see if he could find the source of the water. He worked and worked and discovered a leaking pipe partially behind a kitchen cabinet. He made the cut in the cabinet and drywall to expose the leaking pipe for the plumber. He worked for several hours and wouldn't charge me for his time or service! He was prompt, courteous, professional and most importantly COMPETENT. He even checked out a mold problem and gave me a referral to someone he'd worked on jobs with and he deemed competent and honest. I heartily recommend him.

Mike initially came out in March or so to view our garden unit to access our seepage issue. He got such great reviews on Angie's List for being honest and even recommending other people if need be. At that that he mentioned he would be happy to look at the unit again once all the damaged drywall was removed. I called Mike to come back out, which he did and spent at least an hour with us discussing issues and remedies. He would be in the running for the work to be done, but despite an email and phone call, we never got a quote.

Mike looked at our ejector, tried to clear it but it needed to be replaced. He then replaced the pump and valve.

Mike and his helper were prompt and got right to work. Everything was done according to plan. Downspout drains well and away from my foundation now.

We had been having problems with water leaking into the basement after heavy rains. We had called and paid several individuals in the past to fix the problem with negative results. Mike promptly returned our call. He quickly located the source of the leak and repaired the problem. He was very professional and honest. His fee was very reasonable and he did not attempt to overcharge us as others had in the past.

After a large snow melt, we noticed some water in our crawl space and the concrete foundation wall below the crawl space was wet and was slightly bowing out. I called Mike and left a message on Thursday to let him know the situation. He called me back on Saturday morning and asked if he could stop by to look at our crawl space. He looked everything over and suggested that we buy a downspout connector and direct water away from the edge of the roof. (Water was dripping off the edge of the roof down under our crawl space.) He said that we should just monitor the crawlspace situation and wall. He said that replacing the concrete wall was going to be really expensive and redirecting the water should make a big difference. We also had him look at a few minor foundation cracks in our basement, and he suggested that we just monitor them. This is the second time that we've had Mike to our home, and both my husband and I were very impressed with him. You genuinely feel like he's telling you the truth and isn't just trying to sell you something that you don't need. I highly recommend him.

Mike, the owner, came out to give us an estimate. We got 3 different estimates, and Mike was slightly the cheapest (all three estimates were comparable) but that wasn't our main reason for hiring him. He seemed much more knowledgable than the other companies, and honest. My husband pointed to another crack that didn't seem to be leaking, but looked scary. Mike told us it was strictly cosmetic, and not to worry about it, while both other companies tried to convince us to fill that one too. He spent a long time looking around and answering questions. When the day came to do the repair, he was thoughtful enough to call and let us know that he was running a tiny bit late--not a problem at all. His work was amazing! He spent a great deal of time cleaning the crack, and drilled many more injection points than the other company had done previously. He doesn't use epoxy, but uses something else (polyurethane or something?) that is supposed to hold up better against water and expansion, and he injects it under high pressure. We were surprised to see the stuff oozing out of tiny little hairline cracks a few feet away from the main crack. It obviously spread throughout the area and sealed it well. Mike did a great job of cleaning up after he was done, and again spent a lot of time talking to us about waterproofing and what to look for. The real test will be when the spring rains come, but I have confidence that the work was done properly, and that Mike will be there to support us if we require more help.

They were excellent. They came out quickly. Also they cam back the day after to fix the crack. We had no rain leaking in after they did their job. We were very happy with them. I would highly recommend them. He had excellent service, knowledge, and quick response time. He has a pleasant attitude and doesn't do unnecessary work.

The beginning stages are just starting, when the project is finished I will update these comments.

Let me start by saying that water seeping into a finished basement is not fun. I have had a re-occouring problem for a while however never was able to find or repair the source. After the last rain I took quite a bit of water and decided enough was enough. I checked Angie's List and found Rite-Way Injections. Mike came out that day and located the problem. He removed trim from the basement and water tested the crack. A few days later (weather permitting) he dug up the side of the house, repaired the crack and backfilled it in. A few days later he came back, fixed my landscaping, put back all of the interior trim and we were all done! Mike was extremely clean and professional. My basement is finished so he took the time not to damage my walls or tear up my paneling. This was a huge concern for me and he did the repair like it was never there! If you have a leaky basement this is the company to call! Mike & crew thank you again!

When he injects the solution for the crack, it goes to the outside of the building, so not only is the crack sealed on the inside, it's sealed on the outside as well. Permaseal does not do their sealing this way. Once the work was complete, I checked with the hose to see if any water would sneak through the cracks, and both cracks were filled. I'm satisfied with their services.

I had a leak in my basement that I thought was from the foundation. Mike came out and right away pin pointed that it wasn't a foundation leak at all, but was from the size and orientation of my gutter downspout. He did several simple tests to make sure he was correct, then replaced my downspout and redirected the flow of water away from my house. It solved the problem immediately. Mike could have sold me a repair job that would have cost several thousands of dollars, but instead, had me try the least expensive option first. And it worked! He definately know what he's talking about and is an honest business man.

Very well. During a busy time he squeezed me in to get an estimate. Emailed estimate which worked fine. Showed up on time, did work and cleaned yard. I feel confident that if something goes wrong he'll be back. Not a salesperson - he did the estimate, and the work.

Mike came out explained the problem and how he would fix the crack. He came out and got the job done fast and also recommended a good sidewalk raiser, since that was also part of the problem. We have had heavy rains since the repair and there is no leaking any more. Great Job.

Mike came to look at the work, provide an estimate, and gave suggestions of other easy steps we could take to make an aging basement dry and relatively cozy to use as additional activity space. Great free advice from an expert! We arranged a date for the work to be done, and he and his crew did a great job and left everything clean and tidy. We'd definitely use Mike again!

i had gotten various estimates($2500-$21,000) and various recommendations(drain tiles vs. external repair) before i called riteway when mike came out for the initial estimate he was very informative and very honest in what was going on and what he recommended. he was not pushing to do anything that didnt need to be done. the day of the actual work went smoothly. mike and his assistant spent a lot of time doing water tesing to locate the exact problem. they fixed what they could and pointed out problems that other professionals should do. the price was very reasonable compared to other estimates i had received. i would recommend them to friends

I've been told that my high expectations of service providers are unrealistic, but Mike at Rite-Way exceeded them. My basement had significant water damage from the recent heavy rainfall. I was not home at the time of the flooding so it was difficult to determine the source of the water entry point. I joined Angie's List specifically to find providers for both restoration and to determine the cause of the damage because I was worried about getting ripped off. Rite-Way was highly recommended by users. I can confirm the sentiments of other users who gave high ratings to Rite-Way. They quickly determined the source of the problem and fixed it. I really liked that Mike explained the situation in a thorough, clear, and simple manner. He is focused on solving the problem in the most efficient manner and in the best interest of the homeowner. I just can't say enough of positive things about this experience, and I'm now confident about moving forward with the repair work. I was prepared for a huge waterproofing bill so it would have been easy to have been taken advantage of. Mike also answered my many questions regarding the foundation and sump systems.

He came back the next week with his helper and big ladders (3 story, 100y.o. house) and spent most of the day in the blistering heat doing the job. He also checked the humidifier and said it was doing the job. He clearly was interested in recommending the right plan for us rather than making as much money as possible. He is also very personable and patient. I'm looking forward to working with him again in the future to maintain the gutters and downspouts.

It went very well. They came right away and found some other stuff instead of just the crack we identified. They were very thorough and reasonable.

The service was excellent. Even with the heavy storms he was out 2 days after my late night call (so I would even consider it 1 day). He told me exactly what he thought was happening. He jet 5 underground downspout drains. He and his crew tidied everything up when finished. He also made suggestions as to caps for the drains, tree trimmings, gravel by the foundation, gutter guards, etc. I would highly recommend him and Mike if you read this please don't forget to send me the name of someone honest and reputable to repair my concrete. He was very professional and was able to review the situation and provide details of what was going on. We liked his recommendations / approach / price, so we set up a time to do the job. We were so impressed with Mike's work....it was the best of any contractor of any that we have ever brought in to do work on our house and reflected an attention to detail as well as dedication to get the job done right. In terms of his sump pump repair abilities, we've had 3 plumbers come out before and try to correct the issues we had on the pump (one from Angie's list). After Mike completed the job, it works soundlessly and efficiently. We were so impressed with his work that we ask for a referral on other contractors he knows for some other types of jobs we have around the house.
