Description of Work: We had all our doors and windows replaced by Olson Windows in Barrington, IL. They gave exceptional service and follow through. Response time for all communications was very prompt. Workmen were courteous and professional. We couldn't be more pleased.

Description of Work: We purchased windows for our entire home. The project was scheduled to be completed in one week (October 2014). The job was just completed in May 2015. There were many problems along the way, but all have been resolved. We are pleased with the quality of the product. Our biggest complaint was the communication we had with the company once the project was scheduled and the initial payment was made.

Description of Work: We were looking for a company that would be able to complete all the work that we wanted done to our home. This included new siding, windows, gutters, and doors. After interviewing and receiving estimates from several companies, we selected Olson to completed this task. Why? Olson's representative LISTENED to our needs and to what we wanted to have done which included changing an atrium door into a slider and changing the size of a window in the master bath. Joe, our contractor, worked with us from the beginning and oversaw the completion of our home. Each team that came to work on our home was efficient, polite and knowledgeable about the task at hand. Ziggy and Marc did the installation of our windows and doors in January! They worked so well together and did an amazing job. We were able to see them again to install our storm door and complete the finishing touches in March. Greg and his team also did a great job installing our siding and the outdoor fixtures we changed. They worked after the big snowfall. The man who installed the gutters by himself also did a great job. We were so pleased with the result of our home and have received many compliments on its appearance. Olson was definitely the right choice for us even though the entire project took three months to completed. (Understandably,winter weather got in the way.) I highly recommend them to anyone who needs any of the services we received.

The men who did the installation were professional and courteous. They made sure any mess created during the installation was all cleaned up at the end of the day. Very positive experience.

They cleaned up after themselves and worked together, and with my family in a freindly respecful way. The windows have made a huge impact on my home - it is quiet, and so warm that we now have to open a window to light a fire in the family room fireplace!

Description of Work: I was interested in a patio door installation. I did not purchase from them as I felt the cost was too high. I went with another Angie's list A rated contractor who quoted me $1000 less for the same patio door. | |I'm fairly confident they would have performed a quality installation, but I couldn't justify the price differential.

Painters/stainers were highly professional, very polite and courteous. Their work was of very high quality and we are quite pleased with the results.

We are very pleased with the look and with the installation of the siding. Olson, also, installed a Therma-Tru entry entry door and storm on our home. They did a very good job and the doors look and operate very well. Overall, we couldn't be happier with the final results of both the siding and the doors.
