Olson Windows Doors & Siding

We were extremely satisfied with our dealings with Olson. Starting with our sales rep Tony, who was absolutely great. From our initial meeting with him to our final meeting when he came out to review the results, everything was very professional. From the beginning, I knew we had a big job and my wife and I are very particular about what we wanted. We knew we would have a lot of questions, we would need a lot of information and the fact that we wanted to do the job in two stages meant communication would be very important. All my questions to Tony, either by phone, texting or e-mails were answered very quickly. I don't think we ever had to wait more than an hour for a response. Some of our dealings were with the office help. Kristy and Cecelia were very responsive and got us the information we needed in a very timely manner. We wanted to do half the job in the spring and half in late summer due to our daughter's wedding and Olson was very accommodating with that. Marek and Ziggy did both installations for us. Those guys were great. Punctual, very professional, hard working and neat. We couldn't be happier with the job they did. Bottom line is that Olson is a company that: - Realizes that customers want to work with a company that is responsive to their needs and treats them with respect - Hires top notch personnel in all areas of their business - Offers a variety of products at a fair price - Will take that extra step to keep the customer happy We are so happy we picked Olson to do our windows. The work was done on time and very professionally. The products were very high quality and reasonably priced. I am completely satisfied, and would happily recommend Olson to anyone needing window replacement.

Overall, Olson provided excellent service. I have a small home and do not have many windows. Most window installers have a window minimum, and a few places I called would not even send someone out to my place. Olson had a smaller minimum than most. The salesman, Pat, was prompt and very polite and professional. I had done research prior, and generally knew what type of windows I wanted. The salesman listened to what I was requesting and my reasons. He worked with me to decide on correct windows to match my home, budget, and neighborhood (don't want windows that look out of place in the neighborhood). I was never pressured into more than I want or need. The installation went smoothly. The installers did a great job; the finish was very clean and professional. In fact, I didn't even have to do any painting on the trim after they were done. I looked at their work as they progressed, and saw that they installed proper insulation and flashing where needed. To the best of my knowledge, they did everything right. After the install, I noticed that two of the window latches had a little difficultly in closing, and one of the screens was a little too short, allowing bugs to enter. I spoke to the original salesman about this, and he came out for an inspection. He interrupted his personal time to meet me at a time that worked best for me. He never pushed back on my issues, and stated that he wants to ensure that I was fully satisfied with everything, even the little things. Olson arranged for the manufacturer (Lindsey) to come out to address the issues, which they did. Excellent windows and excellent service.

My experience with Olson was as good as it gets. They offer a multitude of window products and companies so you have choices to match your needs and budget. They even arranged for one window manufacturer to bring a mobile showroom to my house! It was a great way to get a look at what our choices were. Our salesman, Tony, was wonderful to work with. He was accommodating to our needs, respected our budget and timeframe, responded very quickly to each email/phone call I made, and he's just a really nice guy. Tony and I must have gone back and forth 15 times to narrow down our choices, re-do quotes and help us find the right fit for our home. Once it was time to for installation, Olson's two-man installer team was great. They were friendly, professional, courteous & hard-working. The showed up on time, worked tirelessly all day long and cleaned up their messes. Every window was installed perfectly and looks great! I can't say enough good things about Olson and I highly recommend them.

Joe responded quickly when we contacted Olson. He discussed our options for replacing the old exterior doors and suggested a good brand for new doors. We visited their showroom to see a sample of the door. Joe was flexible with scheduling the installation around our extended vacation. When the 2-man crew arrived to install the new doors, the job went quickly. They were courteous and professional and left the job site clean, both inside and outside the house. Another man came the next day to stain the inside on the door. He worked carefully to create an exact match to our existing trim color and came back the next day to stain the second coat. He gave me the extra stain he had mixed to use in the future. Now we have 2 beautiful new doors!

Scott from Olson came out and quoted the job. He was very professional and although we chose to go with someone else. Would have felt very comfortable using Olson.

They were fine, but I couldn't get my wife to move on it. I don't remember the cost. I can tell you it was a pleasant experience, they took care of us. It was in the neighborhood of about $4,500. They were very attentive. The reason we didn't get the door replaced at that time was because of us, not because of them. The interaction was very good. They were very attentive, helpful, it was overall, it was a pleasant experience. It was as detailed as it needed to be. They answered all of our questions. It was only a front door. It's a frame squaring it up, how it's going to blend with the outside wall, etc. It was not a difficult project, they took good care of us.

Response after significant hail damage was immediate and they were very helpful in coordinating all the new exterior products.

Installers were professional and courteous, very pleased.

Everything about the process worked for me from initial meetup and estimate to installation to final payment. There were no issues with the installation and the windows look GREAT!

We had used Olson last year to replace windows in our 3 season room and were so pleased with the process we used them again. They recognized and appreciated our repeat business. Receptionists were always friendly and promptly returned calls. They worked with our schedule for appointments and work. Scott was great at explaining options and work. Installers were punctual and professional. We are so pleased with the finished product!

Ultimately I hired another company. While Olson was competitive on the windows, they were not on door prices. However we will be asking them to bid again when we are ready for more windows, siding and a roof.

The company was very professional.The price was comparable.

It went well. They installed the windows and cleaned up after themselves. My only complaint was the woman who set up the appointment wouldn't have the installers call before they came so I could run over to the house. She said they'd get there between 8:00-8:30 without fail. I waited till they showed up at 8:50. If I use them again I'll insist that they call when on the way.

They were excellent and we recommend them. Very attentive to your needs, I knew I was going to call them because we had originally called them to patch some shingles that they were able to take from a less noticeable area after a different provider told us it couldn't be done and would need replaced. They cleaned up after themselves, its a very messy job. We have a two story house in front and three in the back so they were diligent about picking up trash and insured no bushes were broke It took a couple of days and they were gone and we haven't had any problems. I cant thing of anything they need to improve on, I would recommend them to anyone.

Was one of the best companies we have ever had docwork for us. Never 'issued a beat and did everything they promised. Are planning on them doing additional work this fall.

Olson's crew arrived promptly at the time agreed to. They were friendly and responsive. We were concerned that the installation might disturb the interior walls which were recently painted. Olson's team understood and indeed did the removal and installation of a new sliding patio door with minimal impact to the family room. The job was professional, and rapid, just as we had hoped. Details such as scheduling the required local building department inspection before completion were all handled by Olson with little impact to us. The door is beautiful and of high quality with easy operation and was done at a reasonable price. I would recommend Olson's services to others without hesitation.

It went well except for the fact that some of the windows came from the manufacturer with a small defect which was corrected by them in 5 days.

They were very accommodating in scheduling the installation. They patiently answered all my questions and provided great suggestions.

We have been so happy with Olson. We got many quotes when we were shopping around for windows. Not only were their quotes competitive, but they carry quality products. They also do not contract out their work if they get too busy - they always use their own, trusted, experienced installers. We got all of our windows replaced with full frame installation in December. Yes - December! They did a great job and worked very quickly. They did our whole house in less than 2 days. Installers were very respectful, quick, and clean. Our salesperson, Pat, was also great. He always responded quickly and was great with follow up. We went with a high-grade Vinyl - Lindsey with Prairie style inside the glass (10 very large windows and 1 slider - also included converting a door to a window and converting a bow window to a picture/casement combination). Olson recommended a Lindsey window as they are great quality like Simonton, but a little more affordable. They look beautiful and work great too. We would definitely recommend Olson, so much so that when we go to do our siding, we are planning on having them do it as well.
