WOW! These guys are amazing! They conducted a detailed 30 minute inspection of our 8000 sq ft house and pointed out all of the areas we needed to have addressed to resolve our problem. This even involved the rep getting on a ladder and pulling down insulation. We were also given the option of setting our own traps or having them put traps out until we could get all of the small holes fixed. When I asked how much the guy said the inspection was FREE. Can you believe this?! What a wonderful company to deal with. We have dealt with them before for wasps and spiders and they are always top notch! Thanks Barrington Exterminating!

They are great. When you call, they go through troubleshooting tips to make sure there really is a problem. They don't try to sell you something that isn't needed. They even offer advice on how to take care of the problem yourself without having to pay them.

He was prompt, polite, and honest about my needs. Did not try to sell me services. Because he was so forthright, when I do need pest control services I will definitely call Barrington Exterminating.

Very thorough. Told us exactly what to do ourselves in order to save money. Educated us on how mice got into our basement, and how to prevent it. Knew a lot about the habits of mice, and could even tell that we only had 2 or 3 based on their droppings (ick). Nice company to work with. Came out the day after we called them.

We called Barrington Exterminating based on proximity and Angie's List recommendation. John Murphy responded immediately and we set and appointment for the next day. John was running late and called to tell me so. When he arrived he looked at the area where we had the problem and gave me two alternatives. I could solve the problem myself inexpensively, or he could do it and charge me much more. He was forthcoming with information and his recommendations about consumer products I could use and didn't charge for the trip. I will definitely call him back if I do not solve the problem myself.

Steve was very helpful to talk to regarding carpenter ant & sugar ant problems. He recommended two things I can do (spreading granules on the nests outside and fixing a leaking skylight) which should help to take care of the ant problems we are having. If the issue is not resolved, I plan to hire him to spray the house.

Our rep took time to educate us on wasps,mice and spiders. We did indeed have a wasp problem which they resolved quickly. They told us how to stay on top of this ourselves in the future. They advised us to wait until the winter for the spider problem to resolve (we chose to go ahead and get sprayed). They also advised us that we did not have a problem with mice and did a FULL HOUSE (8,000 square feet) inspection at no charge. I LOVE this company because I feel they are not out to rip us off like the larger exterminating companies--THEY EDUCATE US!!

MY PHONE CALL WAS RETURNED PROMPTLY. THE GENTLEMAN WHO RETURNED MY CALL EDUCATED ME ABOUT THE ANTS THAT WE HAD. THANKS TO HIM, WE DID NOT REQUIRE HIS SERVICES. THE TIME HE SPENT EDUCATING AND REASSURING ME SAVED ME SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS, BASED ON OTHER ESTIMATES I WAS GIVEN. WE NO LONGER HAVE ANTS. I WOULD CALL HERE FIRST IF I NEED AN EXTERMINATOR IN THE FUTURE. THE INFORMATION GIVEN TO ME BY THIS COMPANY WAS THE ONLY INFORMATION THAT MATCHED OUR RESEARCH. I BELIEVE HE WAS VERY HONEST. IF MEMORY SERVES, HIS NAME WAS STEVE.

STEVE IS EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT PESTS AND THE BEST WAYS TO REMOVE THEM. AFTER GETTING NO SATISFACTION FROM A LARGE, NATIONAL EXTERMINATING COMPANY, I SWITCHED TO STEVE'S COMPANY AND HAVE SEEN NOTICEABLE IMPROVEMENTS IN THE BUGS IN OUR HOUSE. OUR BOX ELDER PROBLEM IS ALMOST NON-EXISTENT, AND THE BUGS IN THE BASEMENT (SPIDERS, POTATO BUGS) ARE DRAMATICALLY REDUCED. STEVE TAKES THE TIME TO GET IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME.
