I spoke with Steve on the phone and he was extremely helpful in advising me as to what to do. He essentially said that the problem would be best handled by replacing the wood and handling it with some ant/roach spray available via retail, but did state if the problem isn't corrected after replacing the wood and spraying that they would come out. He could have charged me a huge bill, but instead walked me through it. I appreciate the honesty. We will use them again in the future.

They come out every six months. They are great people. I have them for at least 10 years. My daughters also have them. They are kinda a family owned business. If I see an ant on the floor, they will come out and kill it. They are really nice people like that. They want to make sure that everything is right. They are very responsive. They are on time, all the time. They are never late. You have to give them an "A" on everything. Every six months, they come into my house.

I left a message and was called back promptly. Steve came within the hour and took care of the nest. Glad to have such quick service!

Steve showed up the same day I called him. He spent the time needed to locate the nest and get rid of it. It was tricky as it was under my pool deck. I located a 2nd nest in a different area the next day and he came right back out to take care of that one. He is my go to guy on bugs from here out.

The one thing they can do to improve their service was the follow up calls. I can't tell you the quality because I wasn't there to see. That's good enough I guess. I would use this provider again in the future.

Rudy came exactly on time, explained entire process and answered all my questions, then proceeded to apply treatment to all baseboards inside and along all exterior walls. He was thoroughly professional and knowledgeable. He explained that one treatment could only deal with the ants present at that time, and if we saw more after 6 weeks, he would come back and reapply the solution everywhere at no additional charge. Ants are gone after one week, but we are confident that if they do come back, Barrington Exterminating will too.

The yellow-jackets had built a nest in a woodpecker hole in the side of our house. We were about to get work done on our roof, so we needed the nest taken care of right away. Steve came out the same day that I called. He treated the nest with some sort of powder and within a few hours the yellow-jackets were gone. I was very happy with his promptness and professionalism. I'm not really sure if the price was good (since I didn't get other quotes), but I gave him an 'A' on price because he offered an Angie's List discount, and it was well worth it to me.

He came out promptly, told me what insect had invaded my home, sprayed the entrance they were using, explained what I could expect to experience and see after the spraying, and left. He was really good, explained everything, was fairly priced and I will use him again if needed.

After the tech sprayed for the springtails, I noticed that they were gone within a week. He told me to wait six weeks and if they were not gone he would come back for free. Great tech!

They were very good. After their service we didn't see any more ants. And then we had issues with a mouse. I called him within a month and the man said they would come out for free. I think they do their job properly. The quality of their work stood out. It's worth it to pay them to do the job. The price includes that they come twice a year.

We have used this company multiple times in the past 3+ years. They have always been responsive, on time, and professional. The work is done well and spiders have kept away since last visit. The rep sprayed the inside of the house, under sinks, and the outside parameter of house. I will continue to use this company as needed.

We had springtails invading our house. I tried to treat them and was unsuccessful. I actually called another company first and after 3 applications the springtails were still present. Barrington Exterminting was able to exterminate the springtails in one application. I would definately use them again.

They had to come back a total of 3 times. The final time Steve came in and sprayed inside the house once we found the nest, well hidden and clearly out of sight, which had been built between one of the floor rafters and wall foundation near the basement window. We have finally won the war but there were 300+ yellow jackets that had gotten in the house and were aggressively building the nest. I caulked / sealed the hole to prevent the parade of bugs going in and out and once they were trapped inside, between the dehydration and the bug spray applied, we think they are finally all dead!

They were really professional and took care of what we needed. They did a good job - we would use them again if we need their services.

Each year when the earwigs and ants start to show themselves on our porch and patio (and occasionally indoors!), we phone Barrington Exterminating Co. They are prompt, friendly, professional. They do their thing for a half-hour or so, and the bugs go away. This is the third year we've contacted them, and they are the company we will call next year.

He had a back and shoulder problem and he was able to eliminate it. He sprayed the outside and got the job done. He was here for 45minutes and he gave us a 3 month warranty. He didn't wreck the flowers; he was very careful where he sprayed the stuff.

This company is located within a mile from our house and yet there is a note that says they "will not service" our area (zip code 60010). I was curious as to why so I called them anyway. They returned my call after I've scheduled for another company to come out to the house.

Jeff returned my initial phone call the same day I left a message, and we scheduled an inspection for two business days out. He arrived exactly at 10am, as promised, and was professionally dressed in a uniform identifying the company. Jeff was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to spend as much time as needed to explain about ants, answer my questions, review options, and make a plan. He determined that, for the time being, the Raid ant stakes and spray were adequate to control the small ants. He recommended a granule product for the ant hills in the berm on our lawn, that can be purchased at any hardware store. He said that the carpenter ants could be revisited after the repairs to my siding, but to do so now would be a waste of money. I was so impressed that he wasn't intent on pushing a long-term contract, or suggesting a service that wouldn't really be effective right now. Quite a departure from the national exterminating companies who only want to talk about long-term contracts!

I would use them again. I asked him to do some preventative maintance while he was at my house, so he sprayed the basement.

Quick response for an estimate. A learning experience; I now know more about the habits of mice and how to prevent them from getting in my house.

I was really happy with this pest control service. They got rid of my ants, so that is no longer a problem that I have to worry about. I thought the price was good of the amount of work they did and I was obviously happy that it got rid of the ants. I felt like it was worth the money and it was effective too.

We called, set up a convenient time for the work to be done. Barrington Exterminating came right on time. They were courteous, friendly and professional. As a result of their work the earwigs disappeared. We are entirely happy with our experience with this company, and will gladly contact them next time we need an exterminator.

Called on Monday and they were out on Tuesday. Looked around and told me where potential problems existed. Provided me with helpful hints. They also baited for any remaining mice. Told me what I can expect and suggested how to handle. Would definitely call them again. They were very nice and informative. They were not out to just make a sale, they told me how to handle it myself or I can use them to do it. Wish more companies treated their customers like this.
