We hired Semper Fi two years ago to do the landscaping around our home as well as install a paver patio. Robert at Semper Fi listened to our ideas and provided us with a plan that we liked and worked with me to make a few changes. The finished product was even better than anticipated and we now have one of the nicer yards in the neighborhood. This year we hired Semper Fi to do one more garden bed, plant two trees as well as to edge and mulch the existing landscaping. As usual Robert was punctual and good to work with. His crews are always friendly, professional and hard-working. I would recommend Semper Fi.

This team was amazing! they worked for two days straight on our entire yard. They removed a man-made pond, filled with top soil and covered with sod. In addition, they removed unwanted shrubs and weeds and pushed back the flower beds to allow more lawn space. All of the flower beds were muched as well.

My husband called Sempri the week of June 9 and they showed up the following week to perform some basic landscaping. Mulching the front, Side and Back of the yard. Pulled weeds and bad vegietations in the front. The also trimmed bushes and trees. I was greated by Robert when i arrived home and was pleastanly surprised at how well the yard looked. Everything went smoothly once project began after start was delayed 4 weeks because of rainy conditions. As homeowners we removed an existing side walkway, removed a few bushes and modified the design of existing wood porch before the crew came. Robert, the owner/designer, suggested a 6' wide x 3' deep curved step & adding contrasting banding on the new 4' paver walkway which blends well with the new asphalt driveway and makes the curb appeal pop! The four person crew was excellent, very professional & pleasant to have around for 2 1/2 days. Because of all the intricate curves included in the design they came back on Saturday morning to finish our project & each one thanked us for the opportunity.

The service was excellent. They were professional and efficient as well as punctual and courteous when keeping us up to date as far as any conflicts or scheduling would be concerned. I am very satisfied with the results of their work.

Great work. Very quick and professional. They also cleaned up after themselves nicely which is a real change compared to most other contractors (of ANY profession). All in all, I was very happy with their work.

The bed cleaning was only fair the plantings were not in great shape and weeds came through the mulch in less than two weeks showing that the beds were not cleaned well and that mulch was too thin. Due to the weather the job was postponed several times so it will take until spring to see how everything survives.

I worked with Rudy. He was very professional. He came on time, gave me great advice on what to plant. We had to wait almost a month due to the HOA but as soon as it was approved he got things rolling. The workers came to the house and planted everything and it looks great.

. Robert worked with me to come up with an option that reduced the original price, but still corrected the majority of the drainage problems. Robert also recommended we use special drain plates instead of attaching the drain tiles directly to the downspouts, which will prevent leaves from clogging the drain pipes.

Robert was prompt and friendly when he arrived for to give us an estimate for the work. He emailed the estimate and also mailed a copy. Robert was attentive and helpful throughout the process. The workers continued their work even through an afternoon of rain. Robert checked in with us at intervals to be sure we were pleased with the work being done. Every aspect of the project was handled professionally and the outcome is beautiful. We even received a handwritten thank you note from Robert upon completion of the work. I would highly recommend this company.

I had the front step/stoop repaired two years ago by a different landscaper and it was already falling apart and caving in!! Communication with Robert was very good and he quickly responded to my initial inquiry and in providing a quote. The work was completed in a timely manner and Robert did an excellent job! My husband and I are very happy with the work and will be using Semper Fi again next year to repair the back steps (also clay pavers). Thanks Robert!!

Jobs have been done well with no followup necessary.

I contacted Semper Fi via email requesting an estimate for yard clean-up. I was contacted within 5 days via email that appointments were being scheduled approximately 3 weeks out and was I still interested. I replied that I was still interested and was told I would be contacted to set up a meeting. I never heard from Semper Fi again. I ended up contacting and using another provider. I based my initial choice of Semper Fi on the great ratings on Angie's List and was surprised by my experience.

Robert is very friendly and extremely knowledgable on all of the plants, trees, etc. There was no added damage to the yard and they cleaned everything up.

Supervisor Rudy followed up with us the next day to see if we were completely satisfied with the work. I would recommend Semper Fi Yard Services to anyone needing yard work done.

Semper Fi was very professional. They listened to what we had to say and made suggestions. They gave us a realistic time line for work, but arrived a couple of days later than we were initially told. The work was exceptional and they left the area free of debris. Semper Fi contacted us a couple of days later to ask if everything was completed to our satisfaction. We told them that it was except for one tree. They came out the next day and fixed the issue. We also received a thank you card in the mail. Exceptional work, fair price and amazing customer service. We will definitely use them again.

From the start our experience with Robert was extremely positive. He was very professional and always showed up on time. He offered his opinions on design and gave us some extra options for different bricks. When we did decide to use Semper Fi, we put down a 50% deposit and waited for nice weather so we could have our new front patio. About a month later we had enough consecutive warm and dry days to get started, his crew showed up early in the morning, they were very polite and hard working. They only took a short lunch break, which they brought with them. They worked almost 12 hours that first day, came back early the next morning, finished the project that afternoon, and cleaned everything up. They also put back some landscaping that had to be moved and seeded the areas surrounding the patio and walkway. Robert and his crew were wonderful, we would absolutely use them again.

Promised an estimate and never provided it

I don't know how it would have gone since I was contacted by two other companies that I left messages with and they replied within 24 hours. I chose one of them and it was great.

We went with another provider from Angie's list mostly because they saw things that needed to be done that we didn't recognize. Things like removing some sod to give a large tree, that is not doing well, less competition for resources. They also suggested building up the beds near the house to gain better draining. I added these things to the estimate with Semper Fi to ensure that all estimates we received were apples to apples comparison. Semper Fi was willing to do the work and I'm sure would have done a good job, but the price for the chosen provider was only slightly higher (<$200) and we were impressed with the other provider's knowledge and commitment to make our yard look better.

It was fantastic, I didn't know that I'm going to hire them. First of all, from a professional stand point they were the loss professional landscapers that we've encountered and we did rely to them, price was very reasonable, the work that they do is excellent, and the follow up that they do here is also excellent. They removed the stone on plants, they removed the weeds, the trees all needed to be trimmed, the bushes needed to be trimmed. Landscaping - plants needed to be replaced, trees needed to be planted.

We were looking for quotes to get a brick mailbox and some bricks in front of the house. I had the brick already, so their quote seemed quite expensive. We weren't going to go with them because of the price. They were very nice. The guy that came out was very nice and very polite. It took 3 weeks to get the quote, I wish it would have been a little quicker and it seemed quite high for a mailbox.
