From start to finish Robert and his team were incredible..He listened to what my thoughts were and he brilliantly came up with a beautiful landscape package..They were punctual and paid attention to detail, hence is why I hired a fellow military veteran..I highly recommend Semper Fi for all of your landscaping needs; you won’t be disappointed!!

We purchased our home two years ago from a previous owner who had let the property fall into disrepair. The wooden deck was so rotten you could see the ground through it and years of weather had also damaged the siding of the house which the deck was attached to. The paved walkway leading to the deck and adjacent flower beds were overgrown with weeds and trampled rocks which was a major eyesore. We obtained several quotes and Semper Fi was on the higher end but could complete both the demo of the deck, installation of the patio as well as the yard work. Other quotes were higher without the yard work component. Robert was very patient and answered all of our questions. He supplied us with renderings of the patio and made several revisions. We chose the materials and made a few adjustments along the way which he handled with grace saying he wanted us to be happy with the end result. Semper Fi does not repair siding, but was able to recommend someone who was equally skilled. He replaced our rotten sill plate and found a perfect match for our vinyl siding which I NEVER thought we’d be able to match. The Semper Fi crew and had a high attention to detail and the office staff kept us informed along the way. The result is a patio we are very proud of and a yard that we no longer have to be ashamed of. Our neighbors are delighted. We plan on using Semper Fi again to make some more improvements to other areas of our yard in the future and I recommend Robert and his team without any reservations. We are happy with the work and feel the price was reasonable for the quality and amount of work.

We have been using Semper Fi Landscaping for a few years now and I am always pleased with the outcome. Our annual maitenance consists of trimming all existing shrubs and trees, weeding and clean-up of landscaping beds, as well as new mulch added to property. Each year we often add some new landscaping to the yard where needed. This year we lost an established set of boxwoods due to the extreme cold this past winter. I had the guys at Semper Fi take out the old boxwoods and replace them with some new Emerald Green Arborvitae, as well as added 6 new boxwoods to the front of the yard. Everything looks great as usual with the existing landscaping trimmed to perfection, and I absolutely LOVE the new trees and shrubs! I would highly recommend Semper Fi for any and all landscaping needs! They are extremely professional and take care to leave your property looking crisp, clean and the envy of the neighborhood!

I didn't price many service companies, and I think I pay a lot, but I also feel like I get what I pay for, and maybe a little more as well. Let me explain. First of all, they are responsive to my calls. They come out and talk to me about options, costs and pros and cons of what I want to do. Then they do it, they do it right, and they keep my yard looking ridiculously GREAT!. I have three maple trees that dropped to TON of helicopter seeds all over my new mulch planting beds. And it looked like every one of those seeds sprouted. My planting beds were a sea of 1-inch wide green new leaves. In my new mulch. A week or so later, we had a hail storm. All my plants went from looking like the best yard I've ever had to coleslaw within 20 minutes. Of course the little baby trees survived just fine. I was dreading having to go out on my hands and knees and pick all of the little trees, then raking the seeds. And I would probably rake up & bag half my mulch as well. I was not looking forward to several days of back breaking labor. And then Semper Fi showed up, without me calling them, And they cleaned it all up. They used their trimmers on the sprouting trees, raked all the seeds and debris (about 10 or 12 lawn & leaf bags full), trimmed my bushes, re-trenched around my planting beds. It was just. the. best. thing. EVER. They spent an entire day, and when they left, It looked almost as good as it did before the hail storm. Well, my plants were still shredded, but the beds looked just great. And I was totally surprised by them coming out. I knew from talking to them that they took pride in their work, and I knew I had a good crew taking care of me. But I was surprised just how WELL they took care of me. That doesn't happen often in my experience. So I will renew my contract next year. I am very lucky that I hired them, and you will be, too. Oh, and my wife has said on several occasions that Semper Fi is one of the best investments we've made.

Robert came out for our estimate and was on time and very professional. They came out even sooner than we were originally quoted and the work done exceeded my expectations. They were very polite and cleaned up everything when they were finished. I will hire them back for all our landscape needs.

We have been using Semper Fi for 5 years and have enjoyed working with them. We started using them for lawn maintenance at our old home and was sol pleased that when we moved, we asked them to care for our lawn and landscape at our new home. Most recently, they did our spring cleanup. The yard looks beautiful. They came on a Saturday morning and completed the cleanup within 5 to 6 hours. They laid down fresh mulch around our maple trees and arbor vitae and edged the lawn. The cost of the clean up was $1275.00. They are responsive and professional. They are reliable and deliver the best quality of work every time. We are happy and pleased and look forward to maintaining our longstanding relationship with them.

Work was excellent. Looks great, good ideas. Some unique work with a Prairie resteration and traditional Landscaping.

For the past 7 years the experience has been great. Quality is outstanding. Punctuality is always on time. Very professional. Price is about average.

I need my grass cut hedges trimmed . Was on able to even complete the job because they feel like they couldn’t get in to my area to even work

They did a good job but it took awhile for them to actually do it after my initial call. They said they were behind due to the rain.

I contact Semper Fi nearly a month ago for a quote. After receiving other bids, I reached out to determine when a walk through was going to be completed by their company (2 weeks after initial call]. I was told it was going to be complete that week and if I could send pictures. After not receiving a quote in week 3, I emailed a follow up, in which I would be told an update would be provided Asap. It has now been 4 weeks with no follow through. For a company that gets such high reviews, very disappointed in my experience and will definitely be sharing this experience with friends/neighbors.

Stay away from this unprofessional organization. While living in Batavia, I engaged this company to do spring and fall cleanup and was very pleased with their work. Completely different story when I had them complete spring cleanup as an absentee landlord. Robert, the owner, gave me an estimate to edge, weed, mulch and put down weed preventer. I flew in from another state to visit the property two weeks after the work was done to discover weeds up to my knees, grass uncut, sloppy edging and very little mulch. Robert's excuse was that the property was in much worse shape than he had thought. I think he thought he could get away with a slipshod job as he didn't know that I was planning to visit the property. He then charged me again for redoing the sloppy initial job. Disappointing and disgraceful!

This is the third time we have used Semper Fi over a 5 year time span on major landscaping projects and we will continue to use them in the future. It appears the business continues to grow so I'm sure they are extremely busy. We called in March and work was completed in early May; fantastic timing given weather delays that are out of their control. Robert is extremely courteous and thorough when he provides estimates. When the crew arrived, they didn't miss a thing given that we had a long to-do list that resulted from a complete septic replacement. The crews have always been top notch and very friendly. If I had questions, it was very easy to call their office and get answers. Tree work was completed beautifully, they added new bushes and cleaned up the rest of our landscaping. They fixed a sidewalk that had been demolished due to plumbing repairs, re-leveled our entire yard which was approx. 3/4 acre, added top soil and seeded. They also will be fixing our fence. If you have an issue, it doesn't hurt to ask Robert because I was surprised at what all they could take care of. Aside from landscaping, we have also used them in the past to fix drainage issues at our last property. I have full confidence in this company and we are already planning our next project with them.

It went well. There were times I would need to call because the guys would miss areas. I paid $4000. for spring and fall clean up and for 1 guy to come 1 hour every other week to pull the weeds. I did have some trouble last year with some damage to my property. Backing into my front post light and breaking a front window from a stone being kicked up from the mower. Semper Fi tried to repair the post light but it was snapped in half. I needed a new post to be reset into concrete so the snow from the city plows would not knock the post over with the force of the snow and for the electrician to rewire the new post. Total damage was around $2,000. They did pay for the damage. I called to see if the new contracts had been sent out for the new season and they had. I asked for Robert, the owner to call me. I called three times over the last four weeks and have not received a response. I don't know if he doesn't want to do my landscape maintenance because I had them pay for the damage or what. I summited the invoices I had paid for the items to be repaired so Semper Fi could see I wasn't making any money from the repairs. I feel it is very unprofessional to not return my calls.
