"We hired Juan for drywall repair and to paint the interior of our 1,960 sf home. He estimated 5 days but finished in 2.5, resulting in a poorly executed job. The ceilings and walls weren’t completely prepped, and the spackled areas weren't sanded properly, creating noticeable texture differences. Some areas lack adequate paint coverage, revealing drywall tape lines. Cut-in lines are uneven, showing visible brush strokes, and some areas didn’t receive 2 coats. You can see paint drips and blobs throughout. The walls get easily scuffed and hard to clean. Bedroom closets were left unfinished, and we found a paint spill above a bathroom cabinet. Removing the tape too soon left paint on the baseboards, with splatters also on casings, handrails, and shower surrounds. Despite Juan’s pleasant demeanor and punctuality, the job was rushed and incomplete. Lack of supervision of his team led to subpar work. Now it’s costing us more to fix. Unfortunately, we can’t recommend his services."

Don't expect them to honor their warranty, and would warn anyone about NOT using this service in the future. Miguel and Jose were the project managers on our home painting project. The group was very professional and courteous. They did excellent work painting our home and cleaning up afterwards. They answered all our questions without hesitation. We have already received many compliments from our neighbors. They also worked with us for special requests and questions about paint brands and colors. They finished the work promptly and had a reasonable and competitive price."

"Matt and his team are the ultimate professionals. Matt spent hours with us recommending color choices for our living room, kitchen, main bathroom, hallway, master bedroom/bathroom and family room. His color consultation and choice of colors for the various rooms in our house was priceless. He mixed a custom color for the wall behind our bar. This took about 10 different formululations and turned out perfect. Our master bedroom had textured paint and ceilings that needed to be scraped/sanded down. Multiple coats of joint compound were applied to smooth out the walls. The team did a wonderful job and the walls turned out beautiful. He returned after we had carpeting installed in our master bedroom and touched up all of the marks from the installers. He went over our house with a fine tooth comb after the painting was completed and any imperfections that were found were fixed immediately. We highly recommend Matt and his team. When you’re considering hiring a painter, a quote should include the following items:

You may need to provide your own paint, depending on the agreement you make with the painter. Some painters prefer that you buy the paint and they supply the labor. However, some professional painters get a better price on paint and can pass that savings along to you even after accounting for labor costs.
The average cost to paint a ceiling ranges from $3 to $8.50 per square foot, which is about $1 to $2.50 more per square foot than the cost to paint the walls. Rooms with high ceilings require working from a ladder or scaffolding and often include trim or detail work, which adds to the final price.
Professional painters charge $20 to $50 per hour, on average. Hourly rate cost factors include the complexity of the paint job, the type of paint, the height of the walls and ceiling, and the type of prep and repairs needed. For example, removing wallpaper costs an additional $3 per square foot because it can be very time consuming and labor intensive. Your location will also impact the hour rate.
To estimate the cost to paint interior walls, multiply the square footage by the average price range to paint interior walls, which is $2 to $6 per square foot.
