Chem-Wise Ecological Pest Management

We bought the Big Deal from ChemWise a couple years back to do some bee and wasp proofing in our backyard. We were so impressed with their service, responsiveness, and price that we've been using them consistently as our pest management ever since. The number one thing that drew us to their business is the eco-friendly approach. We have two dogs, and I'm very careful about the use of any chemicals in the house or backyard where they hangout. That's where the "wise" comes from - they actually are cognizant of what goes in their sprays and talk to customers about it. I've called other pest control companies and asked about pet safety, and they honestly don't even care. This company cares and gives you great service for a good price. The tri-annual service is a very reasonable price, and the guys are so friendly and very prompt. If you need to be at home for the service, they will give you a one hour window - and 10 times out of 10 they show up the minute that window begins.

Chem-wise did a good job we have not had any bee issues on the house since Chem-wise sprayed. I would use them again.

Chem-Wise called us immediately after we purchased a "Big Deal" for an outside house spray. They were very flexible with scheduling and came exactly when they said. The wasp spray they applied was very effective for months. We generally have a serious problem with paper wasps because they are attracted to our wood deck. Chem-Wise's treatment significantly improved the situation for us.

I was able to make an appointment and quickly get the house sprayed. The treatment was very effective in reducing the number of bees. I was a bit disappointed with the less than careful application; furniture on my deck was moved around and not put back and a brick was knocked loose from a wall by my garage. Given the price and the effectiveness of the application I would likely use this company again.

They come bi-annually and spray for general pests and will cover more specific items within the package. They have taken care of a mouse problem and are currently working on a hornets nest. My experience has been good. They generally show up on time and they handle all issues professionally.

They were great . They showed up on time and quickly did their work. They were quick to come back. for no charge, when the ants re-appeared 10 days later. The problem has been taken care of . I highly recommend them.

I must say I did not have problems with ants or anything other pesky crawling creatures the entire summer. Very satisfied. Thinking of using them again this fall.

Very professional and courteous all around. The technician came promptly as scheduled, asked questions and explained what he was going to do and then told us when the work was completed along with a write-up. Haven't had any wasp issues all summer. Plan on using them again in the future.

These guys are GREAT! Fantastic customer service, quick & responsive. Came out to our house and got rid of a wasp infestation we had going. Since they came out, we haven't seen hide nor hair of the creatures. They are my new go-to company for pest management.

The staff is very friendly and they are extremely helpful with any questions. The organic fertilizer is expensive and to get weed control, it is an extra cost. The regular fertilizer/weed control price is more reasonable.

It was great. They came out, did the job and left a note on the door of what was done and their number and that was it. They also guaranteed. It was very simple.

They came out the same week that I called them. The extermination costed about $120. The worker was very professional and the quality of the work was great.

They sprayed for bees on our back deck. We haven’t had any bees return since the service. Everything seemed to be fine and I have no complaints. They did what they were supposed to do and charged what they said it would be. They also came out very quickly after the deal was purchased.

Initial Review, With overall grade of D: Technician, on visit of 8/26/13, was very friendly, but unable to identify the cause of damage, which was disappointing. I had found wood shavings/frass in basement closets, and a hole chewed- out of the wood piece in the back of the closet. At his visit, a few dead carpenter ants were found in spider webbing/frass, and some live ones were noted on exterior brick wall near the area of interior damage. There were also some areas of mortar missing in some joints of the concrete block foundation behind one of the adjacent closets, with piles of mortar dust on the shelves below the gaps. And some signs of chewing on one of the shelves where some cat kibble had been spilled. He attempted unsuccessfully to reach supervisor at office, for assistance. He declined to treat, suggesting I close the chewed- out hole in the closet and wait to see if I see any activity (I had never seen active ants, only the damage left behind, and the closets are rarely used, and the backs of them had not been viewed in years.) He suggested that maybe the invaders had been there and left of their own accord. I fear that closing the hole without doing something is like sticking my head in the sand. I never saw live ants inside the house to start, but the damage is obvious, so they have been there, and likely still are, since they have not been treated. The day after his visit, I saw carpenter ants entering my home under the siding on the attic, where it meets the stone. UPDATED REVIEW: After the review above posted, was contacted by company management, who were apologetic, recognized their errors, and offered to come back out. As I had already hired a second company who treated for ants,, but was still concerned, they sent a rep out to give a second opinion, without charge. Jim came out this AM, was personable and seemed knowledgeable, and set my mind at ease. I would not hesitate to give this company another chance in the future, as their attitude was great. Am considering signing up for one of their maintenance plans. Have every confidence their service would be A-plus quality. Changed the grade from D to B,as although follow-up was first-rate, had to deduct a point for the first encounter.

We started regular services with them after the Big Deal purchases. They come 3 times a year. They spray the outdoor perimeter. We like them! Our pest problems have improved.

Jim showed up right on time, was super friendly, extremely professional, and explained what he was going to do. We had a some issues with wasps and Jim got rid of them. All went well and we are pleased with the service.

They had to come back a couple times to satisfy the 100% removal of all the bees & wasp nests but were very responsive when we contacted them to return for additional treatments. We've been very satisfied with the Mosquito Abatement and have seen a significant reduction in the mosquitoes on our property.

It went very well. The $75 I paid for the package I bought was well worth every penny. The guy providing the service was friendly and did a great job eliminating a significant number of wasp nests and a hive behind my siding. Spots high along the roof edge that I would never be able to get too were treated as well. I plan on using this service again next year.

They contacted us proactively (the offer indicated that we should contact them), they arrived promptly and they applied a treatment to our gazebo (which was above and beyond the scope of the offer). I will definitely use this service.
