Chem-Wise Ecological Pest Management

We had a lot of yellow jackets this year, and after finding two nests on my property and wiping them out using a few bottles of Spectracide, we were still bothered every time we grilled out on our patio. I called Chem-Wise to discuss my problem. They indicated that the yellow jackets may be coming in from another property, and there may be very little they could do if we didn?t know of an active nest. They offered to come out free of charge to take a look, which I thought was great. I ultimately decided to buy their Big Deal for $95 and had them come out to spray to see if it would help, even if they couldn't find an active nest. Unfortunately, it didn?t seem to have an impact. The people I spoke to at their office were very pleasant, knowledgeable, and easy to deal with. They were able to have someone come out that week to spray. The person that came out to spray was great. He took his time, talked to me about what he was doing, and methodically sprayed around my house and bushes. While this particular treatment didn?t resolve my issue (again, the yellow jackets may have been coming in from a neighbor's property), I would not hesitate to call them again for pest/rodent control if the need arises.

The service went well. The technician did a fine job. The service seemed to help the pest issue. I do not recall any problem scheduling the deal.

We have had a big problem with box elder bug infestations on the south wall of our home. Chemwise has completely eradicated the problem. Inside our home they also perform preventative pest services on a routine basis and we have ceased to have any bug or mice issues which is amazing given our home is over 100 years old thus has lots of ways for unwanted pests to get in. Chemwise personnel are courtesy, punctual and knowledgable. They also use eco friendly materials.

From the start of this experience it went very well. They were very professional and courteous, also wore covers on there shoes which deserves a token of appreciation. They set the traps, inspected the entrance points and came back again after 2 weeks to patch up the holes. I chose them solely because of their amazing reviews and the service I got was exactly as expected. Highly recommend!

The service was prompt, and the technician and scheduler were courteous. The service entailed a spray for the spiders and setting mouse traps (self-contained like roach motels rather than spring traps) and then returning a few weeks later to investigate mousetrap activity. Recommendation was to keep pets away from spray for 6-24 hours (memory fails here; I do not have pets but sometimes pet-it). All-in-all, great experience.

Two guys came in a timely manner and on time. Asked about the history of where we are having issues and took care of them promptly. Came back about 10 days later as a follow up to see results and found nothing.

I've been happy with them. I just used them last season. They are awesome. They are very accommodating and I like what they offer like just being able to do the weed control for the garden, to me that was great. I didn't want us to pay for the entire house I could just schedule it if I wanted.

Not so good. I used two or three vendors from the guy and not of them are very good at all. You know hey have good review. Either they are rude even they come out to give us a call or even if we use them. The service wasn't good at all. Its really disappointing with them because I thought it was waste of money for 99$. I'm going through the review they say they get 9 or 10 cans whenever they spray the whole entire house. He did only one part and I'm pretty sure it wasn't 9 or whatever can they were supposed to do it. It was like 1 can and that was it and then we had a problem again. We had to call them again and then they did come out lie couple of days later and at the same time, even he would do anything, he feel "okay I'm done" within five minutes. Ask exactly what they do with 95$ because its very misleading. You think you're buying the whole package where they're doing the whole house for you but its just he didn't do the whole house, he did only one part where we thought we had a bee issue and just double check what you're buying. Really its terrible like that. Besides, they rip you off. I thought its over priced. Its very misleading because there it says whole house proof, all around the exterior house, so it wasn't that way at all.

I thought it went well. Service person was punctual, clean, and professional. He checked the entire exterior of my house paying special attention to an area where I thought I had some bees getting in. There were no problems. I especially liked that for the same $95.00 service charge he stated he would return if I had a problem anytime this year. Since I have had bee and wasp problems in the past, I appreciated that I could call again for the same one fee.

They were polite and on time. They guy was very, very nice and knew his stuff. We came up with some ideas and he took care. I would definitely use them again.

It went very well! Keith explained that, due to the time of the year, and the fact that it's unusual for small ants to appear now (spring & summer would be more common), he may need to return again in a few weeks, rather than wait until spring. We will be his on site 'eyes & ears'!

Oh my goodness. After just 3 weeks the improvement was outstanding. I haven't seen a mouse in a few days now. We had a really bad mouse problem since they dug up the sewer in front of our house in the summer. But now, I can get some sleep.

The overall experience was good. They were good. The real test is that they come out, and they come back a week later, and then they come back out within 90 days after that. The real trouble would be if I called them, and they didn't come out. They did what they said they were going to do, and they called.

I actually bought one of those things and it was fine. It was good because we had one of those special things. They were very fast.

Technician explained how the issue would be handled and answered all my questions. He also offered to do preventive spraying on the entire outside of my town home at no additional charge. Although part of the deal was any necessary follow-up if the issue was not resolved, the pests were gone almost immediately and, three months out, they haven't returned. (The only reason this review is tardy is because I thought I had already written and submitted it within a couple days of service.) I would definitely recommend this provider.

Everything went well. They found out that the mice were mainly entering my house in 2 areas. They filled those areas so that mice cannot enter those access points in the future. They left the traps and said that I could call them in the next 90 days if I saw any more mice.

On our initial date the provider came to my home. He was on time and asked questions about my bee activity. He went right to work and said it may take a week for the bees to subside. He warned that they would be upset for the next day or so and that we should stay away from the nest. We had had swarms that did not respond to any over the counter abatement products. Test me I tried each product out there with very little results. The provider also said I may need to recall for another service call. He let me know that all recalls were free until the end of the year. Results were amazing!! Dead bees on the ground and greatly diminished activity!! I had to recall a few weeks later for another treatment. They came out quickly and as of today, we appear to be bee free!!

We've used this company in the past and would use them again. However, I gave a B for responsiveness (not knowing which category to use) because "rodent" in the rodent exclusion service is rather misleading. It means mice only, so just be aware of that in case you have rats or squirrels in the mix. Also, over the phone they agreed to do spider prevention which was included in the coupon, but they didn't do it on either the first visit or the follow-up. I also forgot to remind them so it's partly my fault. They distributed mouse baits around the house and were kind enough to plug up a hole in our enclosed porch addition where rats had come in (but fortunately not nested) over the winter. On the follow up visit they checked all the baits and found no mouse activity, and went around the exterior of the house to check for holes and seal them. Very professional and punctual.

Overall, I am happy with the service. The company was very responsive and showed up on scheduled. The technician completed his work quickly removing several wasps nests which had accumulated. I rated quality a "B" because tiny fragments of the nests were left behind which stood out against our white trim. However, this is minimal as they went away over time. I would use this company and service again.
