Chem-Wise Ecological Pest Management

It was really good. We did have to call them out a second time to spray again but it took care of it. The holes were plugged up and we haven't had any issues since then.

Went as expected. Did say they were coming on a certain date, but did not show up, no call. Came the next day, no call saying they were coming so kind of a surprise. The inspector was really nice and friendly and explained they were shorthanded. We didn't mind, since I work from home.

I went well. They explained everything. We had mice coming into our house and they told us what could have made them to come in. The sprayed the basement and were able to pinpoint which areas in the garage. The staff is good and give many options.

I have used ChemWise for over 10 years. When we first moved into our home in 1996, it was apparent that the house had been built on a wasp nest. While we had no problems in the house, each May-October, our lives were h*** dodging mean, nasty, angry wasps when accessing or leaving the dwelling. My biggest concern was the chemicals used to treat these nasties. My child has serious health conditions and I was worried it would impact her health. I was amazed from Day 1 that she had absolutely no reaction to anything that was used to treat the wasps. No matter which tech came out, they were very professional and nice. They have all done a wonderful job and we have enjoyed our summers outside with no wasp attacks. I do recommend ChemWise to all my neighbors and friends only because they have proven themselves over the years and are worth the money we have spent on their services.

We had used ChemWise for numerous services in the past so when this issue came up I did not hesitate in calling them. As usual they were very responsive and came out to my home within a few days. They had the service man come to my home two or three times and told me I had no bugs, definitely no bed bugs. Th manager suggested that it was static electricity causing the rash my daughter and I were getting. A month later we were still experiencing these bites so I decided to call another company. Right away they said we had bed bugs were able to quickly help us get rid of them. I have never written a negative review about a company in the past but I felt I needed to do it for other Angie List customers out there. While ChemWise was very good in helping us with most pest control issues, they are definitely not equipped to handle bed bugs. On top of that, when they could not find the problem they blamed it on "static electricity" which is not even possible, according to a physicist and ecological expert. Bed bugs are a terrible issue for anyone to deal with and diagnosing the problem as early as possible is best. Because they were not equipped/trained in this area our problem got worse before getting better.

I did use Angie's List to get them. I love them. I signed a contract with them. They're fantastic. They're good. I do a whole year. That includes the times they come out. It's for everything. They're just polite and on time. When they say they're going to be here, they're here. The guys were so nice.

The previous summer/fall we struggled with these pests, fighting them with traps and products from the home improvment store, with limited results. After this service we were rid of these pests. We will use them again if needed.

Chem-Wise came out and determined, based on droppings, that we had a mouse (or mice). They put black bait boxes throughout our home; I think around eight. They then came back a few weeks later checked the boxes; no bait was taken, and we had more droppings. They then came back a few weeks later checked the boxes; bait was taken from one box, so they sealed some places through which they thought the mice could be coming in. But, we continued to see new droppings, so we put out a snap trap ourselves and caught -- a RAT! We thought we were done then, but coming into the house one night we saw a tail flash under some furniture, and upon chasing the beast, discovered it was a mouse. So we put out some glue traps and caught that vermin as well. Since then, no problems -- but I'm not sure how much Chem-Wise contributed. They were very nice, though.

I gave them a B in quality only because they did not treat the little strip on the side of the garage. They had told us we did not need to be present so we were not home, and they may have thought that it belonged to our next door neighbor. It wasn't a huge deal so we did not ask them to come back to correct the situation. Next time I will make sure we are home to monitor the work.

First appointment was scheduled for 4/10, @ 3pm on 4/10 I received a call from the technician that the chain broke on his aereator. He had ordered the part and would receive it the following Tuesday, it would take him a few hours to repair the machine. As a service provider myself I am thinking the technician should rent an aereator from the local Home Depot so he can keep his customers appointments until the chain comes in......Oh well. So the next appointment is scheduled for 4/21, I agree to this date and am looking forward to getting my lawn back in shape. So 4/21 comes and goes no call, no service, no aereation. I would not recommend this company to provide any type of service. After I left a message on Angie's list about the no show the company apologized and offered a free weed control treatment, I declined based on past performance.

I am in a 3 flat so it was much higher than I could reach. They were out within the week of me purchasing the big deal. They were out fast. I did not have to pay anything additional. The guy they sent out knew what he was doing, and he was very cooperative. He was interested in getting all the stuff out and he indicated that if a week went out and they were still out, we should call them back and they would come back and redo it. He had some type of motor or compressor, and it was able to generate pressure to be able to reach the stuff, and he sprayed it underneath the back porch, and areas where they would be able to nest in addition to where the nest was. They use stuff which is supposed to be logically healthy. The price was good because it was half of what it would normally be, because it was a deal.

They did not even call to schedule this service. The deal should not have been offered if they were not ready to provide the service.

Sorry can't provide all the details. He did a great job, clean and safe. Things went well.

The day after they came by we had a mouse in the house, we called them back and they came out right away. I had to ask them to look for the entry point, and after a short while we discovered we needed to close some outside holes. This should have been addressed during the first visit. They sprayed the perimeter of the home for spiders and left bait traps for mice in common problem areas. We have not had any issues during this past winter, so the fixes have worked.

They were great communicators and showed up exactly when they said they would. The rep, Jarrell, was very customer friendly and did a great job making sure that he aerated every square inch of the yard.

Provider: Chem-wise .. The person came to do the Aeration service, but didn't do it. He cited the reason that the sprinkler system valves were located on the ground with Flags. They should do it themselves or at least tell us to keep it ready. Now, I have been asked to flag the sprinkler system's valves with Flags and then call them. - Brij Kamboj

Contact was professional and thorough. Explained everything to me and clean up droppings as he went. Following up was 2 months later and they were also excellent.

There was a special that they had. The prices were reasonable. I had a discount given. They were prompt and courteous. They are a good company. I would use them again. The worker was thorough. He was there to attack the problem. He assured me that it wouldn’t be a problem and he would come back if there was a problem. He followed through. He did the job quick and thorough.

It was good. There are no extra charges than the "Big Deal" I purchased. They're prompt and professional. It's a good company.

They were prompt and came on time. They were courteous. They did the work they said they would do. They had good follow up about a week or 2 after the visit.

It was fine. I was satisfied with the service.

We continue to use them for preventative maintenance.
