Description of Work: James arrived on time and did a great job of covering every area of concern. Last year Chem-Wise Ecological Pest Management Services came out and addressed a serious problem with a yellow jacket nest under our air conditioning unit. James examined the footing of the unit and did not find evidence of a new nest. He applied the solution to the area of the air conditioning unit, the house and our shed. James removed two wasp nests on the shed and several pests flew out as the solution was applied.

The man was very helpful and pay special attention to my areas of concerns. He also knocked down some nests I didn't even know where there. What was really nice is that there is no residue odor left at all! Highly recommend!

On the day of our appointment he called to let me know he was actually ahead of schedule and asked if it would be okay for him to arrive 15 minutes early. I wasn't home at the time, but I told him to go ahead, and he was wrapping up just as I arrived. He explained the work he did and gave some recommendations for further measures that would also save me money. Our home has wood siding, so it's common for us to see large bees flying around our gutters every spring. But we haven't seen any bees flying around after this treatment by Chem-Wise. I plan on using them again in the future, especially if they offer this $95 deal through Angie's List.

 + 0 moreThe inspector, who acted very professionally, assured me that because I had just installed new glass block windows for the basement, the only way rats could get in was through either the front or back basement doors. He provided me with some traps (mouse size) and seemed satisfied that rats would not get into my basement. The only complaint that I have is that I think that the price was a bit high for such a quick inspection. From what I could see, and from what I know about rat abatement (very little), he did do a good job.
Description of Work: We have a rat problem in the neighborhood, and I've seen some mice in my apartment. I used a common mice trap that eliminated the two that I saw (over a long interval between the two). I was concerned about rats entering my house so I contracted for this service.

 + -1 moreDuring this season Chem wise was extremely busy, but they were able to send someone out within a few days. He arrived at night, around 8pm. However, even though he arrived late he did not rush the job he sprayed the entire house and fence. However, a day later we still seen bees flying around. We called Chem Wise back and they sent out the same guy again to respray and place powder in between crevices. We didn't see another bee... or bug for that matter. I will use them this summer as well!

 + -1 moreI believe it was Alex who came out to spray around the parameter of the house. We also have a wooden arbor where carpenter bees drilled into too. Alex sprayed and also inserted the powder into the holes. Hopefully they won't be back! He was on time and very polite and professional. I like the fact that they guarantee until the end of the year so if we have any additional problems we'll be able to have them back at no charge.

 + -1 moreWe have used Chen-Wise before. They are very professional and on time. The technician knows what he is doing and listens carefully to our concerns. We tend to get ants coming into our house in the spring and fall. Chem-Wise treats the inside - everywhere we may see the ants, in the cracks and out of the way so our pets do not come into contact with the poison. Then Chen-Wise treats the outside - completely around the house. We do not see an insect again. We definitely recommend Chem-Wise to everyone.

We had not moved into our new house yet, however, it was nice to do so without worrying that the moving crew would track ants into the house. He laid traps which were totally safe for our nosy dogs and gave instructions on how to monitor them. He came back twice at scheduled intervals to check on the progress. Mice gone! Jim did a great job with bait traps and outside blocking of all holes that might let rodents enter. I couldn't be happier. I am purchasing the bee and wasp protection this week. Highly recommend this company.
Description of Work: I was out of town for a family emergency for an extended amount of time. I had my house watched by neighbors and family but they did not notice I had little rodent visitors. I had this problem when a nearby road was constructed and called a different company. I was not impressed with their service. Before I left town I purchased a "deal" from Angie's List so I would be ready to deal with any future problems. While I was out of town my coupon expired. I called Chem-Wise and explained my situation and the owner said he would honor my original coupon. Jim came out and assessed the situation. He told me it would take at least 2 visits to be sure we had all critters taken care of completely. He worked his magic! Well done service. Feel confident we stopped the invaders.
