Chem-Wise Ecological Pest Management

All went very well. The Pest Control Tech was great. He did inform me that they are no longer called Exterminators. He was very knowledgeable and I trusted his words. He sprayed around the exterior of the house. Every morning I would see spider webs in my kitchen window but since the treatment, I have not seen any. I purchased the deal for future seasonal treatments. I am happy.

saw a few dead bees inside on kitchen window seals after a week or two. nothing since then, no bees anywhere. the tech was professional, friendly and efficient. would definitely use them again.

Very disappointed that the technician did not bring a ladder. He had difficulty reaching (spraying up to) the nests that were in the highest eaves, but other than that, service was fine. He also sprayed a foot or so into/under the deck, where he could reach, but the side boards prevented him from reaching all the way under. Most of the wasps were gone within 3-4 days, but still have the one nest high up in the eaves.

They were very professional and on time. They set traps inside the house and also checked around outside for areas the mice were getting in. We still have mice from time to time, not as bad as it was, and Chem-Wise has been very diligent in coming back and checking the traps for us. They will come out anytime you call to check traps. We will continue to use them.

Due to a family emergency no one could be home when they came, I called and let them know what the situation was. When they were done he texted me (I requested text over VM) with all of the details of what they found and what they did. Great service!

Appointment set up was easy and no problem that I wouldn't be home. Clear invoice left after service. Took care of the problem.

Another successful application. Freedom from the wasps for another summer so far. So worthwhile.

When I called the company, the woman on the phone asked how I'd heard about them. When I told her Angie's List, she recommended that I purchase the deal through Angie's list, to save money. She waited on the phone while I did that, then scheduled someone to come out within the next day or two (I can't recall, but it was quick.) Not only did they get rid of the problem bees, they "bee proofed" our entire house. We have a very wide house, and they went around the entire home to make sure the bees didn't make another nest somewhere else. Very quick service, very reasonable price!

Provider set bait traps for mice and inspected basement, family room and garage and find out where they were coming in. He was able to rule out the garage. He returned a week later and mice had been caught. He reset bait traps and put steel wool in small probable entry places. He also showed me two bigger places where wood had rotted which were probable entry points and said I needed to get a handyman or carpenter to replace the wood. He came back a third time several weeks later, and confirmed that there were no additional mice. Steve was very professional and I highly recommend him and his company.

Our appointment was scheduled in a timely manner, the tech showed up on time, and he quickly analyzed the problem areas with me. For years we have dealt with bees boring holes in our eaves and soffits. One Chem Wise application in May, and we haven't seen a carpenter bee since. Really nice that it did not affect the bees in the flower garden ( the good ones) only the nasty big ones that do the damage to our old wood home. Very satisfied with Chem-Wise service.

We called them out to get an estimate on removing some wasp nests on our shed, and maybe check out an ant situation. I showed the guy the nests on the shed, and told him to take care of them, and went back inside the house. Before I knew it, he had sprayed the entire front of my house with bug spray, all the way up on our eaves, so it was dripping down all over the place. When I went to open the garage door to get my daughter to the bus stop, the chemicals were literally dripping all over the place when the door went up, we couldn't even get out of the house and had to go around back. That this guy NEVER thought to mention to me -- what he was going to do with the treatment blows my mind. I didn't have time to talk to him because I had to get my kids to school and even then had no idea the extent of how much he sprayed. He never told me what he was going to do, and I would NEVER have approved it -- I have two small children and a dog that are constantly in and out. Plus my HOUSE didn't need to be treated -- our shed was the issue. I quick wrote him a check for $195 because I had to get my daughter to school and then when I got back home, noticed the estimate for the wasp treatment that was typed on the invoice was only $85. They overcharged us and over-treated our home, without informing us of what they were going to do -- or even ASKING if we wanted to have all that sprayed. Do not call these guys. The office our receipt is from is from Rolling Meadows. I don't know if the other offices are better, but I do know Point Pest Control was a much better outfit that we used in the past. They were NEVER so careless.

Sprayed for wasps--and that did the job. The rodent problem continues. I think I need to find a provider to identify where they are getting in and to rectify that issue in order to really get rid of the problem. While the poison seems to work--the mice or voles appear to be bringing their friends--and when I found one dead in the basement, I got visions of other carcasses lurking elsewhere. However, I would highly recommend for bug abatement.

Excellent experience! Appointment was quickly scheduled. Employee provided full explanation of what would be done. Made sure I understood terms (ie., if I saw additional activity after giving the poison a chance to work, I should call them back and they'd come back to finish the job). Work done quickly and thoroughly, and no return visit was necessary.

The first visit was very thorough. It entailed meeting with the technician and an indoor and outdoor spray of the house. Everything was explained to me as to what to expect after the spray such as I would see more dead ants over the next couple of weeks because the spray is working. Everything happened as explained. I like the product because it is ecofriendly, there is no odor or residue. The subsequent treatments only involve outside spraying and was provided on time. Overall, a good experience.

The gentleman was very friendly and early due to a storm coming that afternoon. He sprayed the entire outside of the building and as of 08/11/15, I have not seen any bees or wasps within this area.

I had carpenter bees around the entire house, eating away holes in the wood siding. After purchasing the deal, I was quickly able to schedule an appointment. I didn't need to be home, so they came and treated the house and left a receipt. Over a month later and have not seen any bees.

Service man came out and sprayed the whole house and our shed where they had started a fourth nest. So far, any wasps we see which have been few and far between, seem to know not to come here anymore! Thank you! They even gave us a special discount for mentioning we found them on Angies List.

great. This was the second time we used them for a pest problem. I highly recommend.

He came on time, inspected the problem, and used bait and spray to take care of it. The bait has worked and we no longer have ants in the kitchen. They will come two more times this year to control pests.

I have not seen a wasp since ChemWise sprayed my property.
