Chem-Wise Ecological Pest Management

We had a wasp nest under the even of our house and had been battling carpenter bees, as well. Chem-wise came out and sprayed the eve of our house, eliminating both our problems in one visit. The bee-proofing we purchased was for the calendar year, so when yellow jackets began nesting in the ground a few months later, a technician came out within days to kill the nest. I can't speak highly enough of this service and will be using them every year as a preventative measure. Highly effective and professional!

The appointment was made promptly by the receptionist. Rob, the technician, was on time as well as professional and polite. He had the proper attire on and explained to me what he was going to do. After the services were provided he took me to the areas that he treated and thoroughly explained what he had done and what he was unable to do (he could not reach one area without removing some of the structure of my home). He also explained the time frame of the warranty of the work. He asked me if I had any questions and he wanted to make sure I understood all aspects. The treatment resolved the problem, which was significant, and I would gladly hire this company again should I have any pest issues. Good job and I highly recommend!

They came out right as we headed into a cool spell, so the poison and the weather combined to pretty much eliminate the yellow jacket problem. A few weeks later, a couple wasps were heading back into the hole, and the provider came back out, re-applied the poison, and I've been wasp-free since.

Bought a coupon on Angies list to have the lawn aerated and overseeded. It rained the day they were scheduled to come out and do the work so they came early the next day to do the work. The worker they sent out was friendly and did a good job. Great value for what seems like pretty good work.

First call to them was Great. Lady very helpful and wanted to provide the services we needed quickly. Gentleman arrived on time and was very professional.. Explained what he was going to do and the results and went to work. When done he stated he would be back to remove hive and clean up area...

They did the work exactly and when they said it would. I was satisfied with the work.

said they would do follow up in two weeks, I haven't heard from them. still have minor insect problem.

Excellent service. This is the 3rd year I've purchased the Bee & Wasp proofing special via Angie's List. I've always had trouble with wasps on my deck -- under the seats and tables, on the satellite dish on the wall above the deck. Also much trouble with the area under the eaves on the front and side of the house. The Chem-Wise Bee & Wasp Proofing treatment takes care of the problem. This year, for the first time, I noticed a wasp nest being constructed underneath a seat on the deck a few weeks after Chem-Wise had sprayed. I called about it one afternoon and they had someone at the house early the next morning to re-treat. I had no more wasp problems for the remainder of the summer. I have lots of flowers in my yard and don't want anything to affect the bees. When the Chem-Wise technician comes to treat my house, I request he not spray on or near my flowers. My instructions have always been followed exactly. I will definitely purchase Chem-Wise's Bee & Wasp Proofing treatment again.

I was working on repairs (caulking prior to painting) to the fascia board on the front of my house near the front door when I noticed yellowjackets entering and leaving a ~1/4" gap in the board. I tried to take care of the problem myself w/OTC sprays and foams. It did not work, so I found this company on Angie's List and called them, as they were very highly rated. I called the Friday just before Labor Day weekend and explained the issue (including that I found one inside the house). The person I spoke to (didn't note the name) said she would have the Branch 2 (?) manager, Alan, contact me on Tuesday, as it was the holiday weekend. No one called on Tuesday. Followed up on Weds. am and spoke to Tiffany. Apparently Alan had some vacation days that the person I spoke to on Friday was not aware of. Tiffany did get me on the schedule for Friday of that week. Alan came out exactly when scheduled, explained what he was going to do and what type of product he uses, identified the area where the nest was, and did the spraying. I left the area alone for the recommended 3 days. I then was able to get back to the repair project and complete it this week. Since the treatment I found 1 yellowjacket inside the house, which I was able to easily remove (it was crawling on the carpeting, not sure how it got in). No further 'sightings' inside. Outside I have only observed 1 yellowjacket around the repair area, and I killed it w/OTC spray. I have seen others around flowers in my yard and 1 around a 2nd story window at the back to the house. I believe these are likely from other nests (ground?) in the area, maybe even from neighboring yards. I haven't observed any other entry points in or around my house. I believe they took care of the problem and will call them again if I observe any other nests.

The technician can't even locate where the bait/trap he placed during his first visit, mumbling about "possible" activities but couldn't provide preventive closure of the case - where could be the possible entry point - don't know; do you provide service to seal the possible entry point - no. A year later the mice returns.

everything went well. He needed to reschedule three times because his technician called in sick. But at the end the requested work was complete and for now it appears to everyone satisfaction.

He came on time and I went over all my concerns. I had been stung by a bee while I was just standing on my driveway. Also, I saw bees around one of our vents. He sprayed all around the outside of the house. Then he got a long pole and really sprayed the vent. He went over everything with me and left. A few days later the bees were back at the vent, not as many, but they were there. I called and in a couple of days the man came back and sprayed again at no charge. The bees are now gone as far as I can tell.

First visit inspection done and traps set. Second visit traps checked for activity. Will come back in fall for third visit and trap check.

This was a second visit to administer the second dose of a treatment for one of our trees that has had a sort of rust on the leaves. They were responsive, on time and did exactly what they said they would. They also helped us identify our trees and gave us some details on how to take care of them.

Random bee all of summer. Fair to say it did the job.

I have been using Chemwise for over a year. I went with them because they do not spray inside of the house and the reviews were all really positive about both their customer service and work results. My first service was to proof the house for wasps that were getting in. The gentleman who came over inspected the house inside and out and gave me simple solutions on how to prevent them from coming in he also closed some entry ways on the outside of the house. We have not see a wasp since! Chemwise also does the tri-annual general pest treatment and over the past year we have barely saw any critters. Some spiders have come back recently with the fall weather and I was able to schedule someone within couple of days to respray the outside at no additional cost. The customer service is outstanding - prompt and professional. I schedule early days appointments and have not waited once yet. Overall, I am very satisfied and grateful to have found these guys.

Wasn't here longer than 5-10 min but it seemed to do the trick! Never saw the beetles I was having issues with again after the one shot!

This company was offering a deal on Angie's List, but instead of taking the deal I went to the company's website, twice, and filled out the form to have them contact me so I could discuss their services with them. Not once did they respond to my contacts. I mentioned the deal on Angie's List, no response. Why would I pre-purchase a deal from Angie's List when I am unable to get them to respond to their contact form on their own website? This is why pre-purchasing is not always a good idea

I had wasps coming into the house in my master bath. I had Chem-Wise come out to take care of them. The tech got there early when I wasn't there and treated the exterior points where the wasps were coming into the interior void where there was apparently a nest. He also returned shortly after I got there for the appointment and inspected inside the house but was unable to definitively determine where they were entering. The tech was pleasant and professional. This seemed to kill all the wasps over the next 2 days. However, a week later one showed up, then more a couple days later. I called on Friday and they sent out the tech on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend. He further treated where he believed the wasps were coming in and they have since all died (again). He was very pleasant about the return visit and it fell under their guarantee, so no charge (a point they made, I didn't need to even bring it up).

The experience went very well.

While doing a home project on Labor Day, came across a nest of Carpenter ants in my home. I called chemwise right away because they are literally less than a mile from my house. I left them an urgent message labor day evening to call me in the morning.(NO REPLY OR CALL) I went on the site here and contacted them via email. They asked for my phone number so someone could call me right away. I gave them my phone number (NO REPLY OR CALL) Business must be too good if they wont even return a phone call.

Great. This is the 3rd year I have used this service. nO WASPS. done while I am not at home. Will use this company again.

Found and blocked holes where mice were getting in, including crawling under the back porch. Problem was taken care of within 24 hours. He also killed a carpenter bees nest on my porch that I've been trying to take care of for years. He was pleasant and knowledgeable and worked around my schedule. One hour later the little beasts were gone! Great job!!
