Chem-Wise Ecological Pest Management

I have hired Chem-wise twice in the past year. In the winter for mouse exclusion. The person who came out to the house was very knowledgeable and thorough. we found one opening right away. it took a second trip to locate a different entrance point. I appreciated him returning until issue was resolved. I more recently had Chem-wise come out to deal with a pavement ant nest situation. Again, the technician who came out was very knowledgeable and took care of the situation in a manner that addressed the root cause. In the past, I had hired a large national service provider, and was extremely displeased. I will definitely hire Chem-wise again if the need arises.

Great! It took 2 trips; those ants are pesky. But no problem with scheduling another visit.

When I called the number to request service, it was answered promptly. The person on the phone was knowledgeable and helpful. A different office had to be contacted to set up the appointment. The other office contacted me quickly to set up the appointment within a day or two. The technician contacted me prior to the scheduled appointment time that he was in the area and asked if he could come early. That was fine with me. When I spoke to the technician about the specifics of the job, he was able to get it started right away. When he came into the house to look into the attic, he put up a couple of traps and confirmed they were baited. I asked about checking the second attic opening in the garage, and he chose not to look into that part of the attic. I understood when I talked to the first person that in 2 weeks when the traps are removed, the technician will check for how the rodents got into the attic and help with closing that up. Per the technician, he will not be doing that. He will only be checking the traps and removing anything that is caught. The job is not complete yet. It will be another week before the technician is scheduled to come back out. We purchased internal sonic rodent/inspect repellents to be plugged into our rooms so we do not know if there is still something in the attic. The majority of the wasp nests were knocked down and we have not seen a return. Some nests were tucked behind the shutters and he could not access them. I have not had these services done before, so I don't know if the price is "excellent" or not, but it was okay, plus we did receive a discount for going through Angie's List.

Arrived same day and removed all wasps around the house. They have not returned.

They setup discreet bait boxes to determine how mice were coming in. They detected small openings around AC tubes and damaged wood board. Repairs were made and the issue resolved. They came back for follow up and offered helpful suggestions at no additional expense.

Chem Wise was quick to respond to my request and scheduled promptly. They have been out multiple times after the initial spray when I continued to see ants at no cost. Very much recommend.

Jim was, as always, knowledgeable, professional, and very helpful with a sense of humor. He always showed up on time. He had a plan to find the entry point(s) and like a good detective narrowed down the choices. In the end, he had found the problem and eliminated it. Furthermore, he inspected other areas and took steps to disallow future activity. A big thank you to Jim for a job well done and for excellent quality and customer service. Highly recommended.

Tech arrived on time, recommended spraying and aerosol treatment ("insect bomb") in attic, followed up by exterior spraying in spring. This was done in timely manner. Insect invasion greatly diminished.

The dealings we have had with Chem Wise has been outstanding. The techs have been great and services are well priced. They have gone over and above to make the customer happy.

The serviceman arrived promptly inspected the basement and the first floor and looked around the outside of the house. He applied treatment both outside and inside, and then set some traps at various strategic points around the interior of the basement to address the field mice issue. Very courteous and professional and the measures taken seem to have worked well.
