Description of Work: Service sprayed for bees. We had used their service last year and was pleased with the outcome. We did not see any bees trying to make nests anywhere on the places that were sprayed. As a person allergic to bees, I was very happy with that. They also assured me that if I noticed anything that they would return and re spray.

Description of Work: Sprayed around all the eaves to prevent wasps from forming nests. Satisfied and so far no wasps have been by.

Description of Work: they called when we purchased the deal and explained they would call in the spring to come out and spray. They came out and did everything they said they would do.

Description of Work: The house was sprayed outside for bee and wasp protection. He explained that some of the spray would get on the outside of the windows in advance. He sprayed under all the eaves and around all the windows. He was efficient and polite. My original appointment date was rainy and instead of spraying and having it be ineffective the worker suggested we postpone. I was grateful to him for his willingness to return.

Description of Work: They came to exterminate ants- but I was just a little disappointed that they only worked in my kitchen and outside around the house. I wanted him to go into the basement - as any exterminator would, but he said they would do that next time. That seemed kind of off!

Description of Work: I found Chem-wise last winter through Angies List. I wanted to try a smaller pest control company instead of these big companies that really don't take their time with you...Just in and out. Jim came out with the mice issue and was great. Looked through the entire house and the outside then set traps. No mice were seen after that. We called again because of large carpenter ants that were in and outside the house. Again, we got Jim who was on time, real friendly, had lots of questions etc. He baited the house inside and out and said that if I see ants again in 2 weeks to call. I did see ants right around that time...I read that they are harder to get rid of than regular mini ants. And my neighbors were all having the same issues and comments about the carpenter ants. So, I called again. Chem-Wise didn't give me any problems, just made a date right away. Jim came out and baited the house again. So, we will just wait and see. We did sign up for their maintenance program since we do get a lot of spiders and box elders during the year too. We live in a wooded area. All in all I am very happy with the company. I like to give my business to local companies who care about their customers. Also, Jim has been with the company for a long time and is knowledgeable about "pests" in general. I think that has some credibility! Thanks Chem-Wise.

Description of Work: The company staff has come and visited my house twice, put (in the basement and around the house) totally ~12 boxes containing some bait which would make mice thirsty and thereby push them going out of the house. They also spread some chemical along the edge and corner of basement/garage to prevent/kill spiders. In general, the job seemed well done and no more mice found in our basement for a couple of months. However, the mice (and spiders) came back again after several months. When calling the company, I was told that the warranty only covered 2 or 3 months and therefore no longer applicable. If I need to get rid of the mice/spiders, I'll have to wait until next year to purchase the "Big Deal" once again for the same service, which made me somewhat disappointing.

Description of Work: We have only had an initial visit so far during which the lock boxes with some food were placed in certain places. These are not supposed to trap the mouse or other insects, it is just to find out if there are critters in the basement, garage, and the attic. A 2-week follow up is still pending. Will update the ratings after the follow-up visit.

Description of Work: Arrived promptly at the indicated time. Was very courteous. Explained what he intended to do and about how long it would take. Explained the warranty. Indicated the spray would need to dry for about an hour. Completed his work within an hour. Left an invoice with a description of chemicals and the area applied; contact info included. Pleasant experience - would use again.
