They were great. We were bee/wasp free all summer for the first time. I saw their big deal just came up again so I re-purchased this year as well.

A tech analyzed my situation and pointed out the places where the mice were gaining access. The tech left traps designed to encourage the mice to leave the house. Subsequent follow-ups indicated the little creatures were gone.I definitely will use them again for future pest issues.

The technician was early, professional and did conduct an inspection for the suspected termites. We did not have termites and did not need the service. We also learned about other insects that are helpful to our home environment (Mud Dobbers = spider killers = amazing to learn). If we have any wasp, ant or other pest problems due to the plethora of information and honest, professional approach; we will call Chem Wise and trust them to service our home annually.

We live in a semi-rural area where field mice entering the home in winter is just an accepted part of life. We've put out our own traps in the past but got tired of the cleanup, so we jumped at the chance to use this mouse proofing deal on Angie's List. The technician that came out was prompt, courteous and very professional. We discussed our mouse issues from previous winters in depth and he set up roughly a dozen bait stations throughout the house and garage. Two weeks later the same technician returned to check which, if any, bait stations showed activity. At that point we didn't have any, so he did a very, very thorough walk around the house and sealed up a couple of possible entry points using steel wool and foam insulation. About a month later, we found a dead mouse in the basement while unpacking our holiday decorations and Chem-Wise sent our technician out with a day or two to inspect. None of the bait stations had been touched and there were no other signs of activity, so it appeared the mouse was a remnant from (possibly a year) prior to Chem-wise coming to our house. We're now in February and have yet to see any mouse activity. I couldn't be happier with the quality of service Chem-wise provided as well as their willingness to stand behind their service and respond quickly to a possible issue. I'll be using them every fall to mouse proof and will also use them this spring for wasp control based on the positive experience I had.

They immediately called me, without me having to call them, after i purchased the deal to schedule an appointment. The rep over the phone was very pleasant as was the guy who came out. He answered all my questions I had and put the bait boxes around the house.

The exterminator arrived on time. They actually called a few days earlier to see if they could stop by but unfortunately I was at work so I couldn't accommodate them but it was refreshing to know that they will try to schedule earlier if need be. Once the exterminator (sorry can't remember his name) arrived and I told him what was happening he immediately knew what was going on. He then went on to spraying outside with an eco friendly pesticide and also added some caulking repellant stuff on the inside of my kitchen. Took around 30-45 minutes from start to finish and problem solved! Have not had any more ant issues since. Am thinking about signing up for their annual exterminating maintenance service as a result of their service.

We have an autistic grandson who is totally freaked by flying bugs and we were having a pool party. I signed up with Chem-wise. I was surprised they came out this far (Illinois-Wisc. border) We set a date for someone to come out. He kept in contact with me as the date got closer. When he got here he walked around the house and asked some questions. He went right to work. Sprayed everywhere. I didn't even know there was such a things as carpenter bees! We had the pool party the next day and the bees never came back. My grandson was so happy that he could go outside with no "flying things"!

I've been using them for a month. We had a problem with ants so they sent someone different out 4 weeks later to treat it. They came exactly when they said they would.

It was a very professional experience, from initial contact through the house visits. The technician called prior to arriving and let me know when to expect him. Upon arrival he did a thorough check of the basement and garage and answered all of my questions. He placed bait stations throughout. He inspected the exterior of the house for entry points and let me know what he found. The follow-up visit was two weeks later and he let me know what bait station activity there had been. He sealed the entry points outside the house. While I hope not to need pest management services in the future, if I do, I would definitely call this company again.

First Visit (11/15/11): Jim who services the Wheaton area arrived exactly on time. He was very friendly, pleasant, and professional. He listened to our tale of woe. He inspected the basement carefully. Based on his 15-year experience, he spotted: A mouse bore in the installation inside. A hole under the siding outside corresponding to the bore. The fact that the electric box had not been completely sealed. He then went above and beyond by removing some ceiling tiles and insulation and checking the suspected route of the mice. He also figured out, based on evidence, that the bay-window was a hot spot. Given the depth of the window and the inaccessibility of it, he recommended the removal of some of the deck boards and said that he would come back and seal the window from the outside. He then put bait stations at strategic locations all around the basement (and the garage) and promised to come back in 2 weeks. Second Visit (12/1/11): Jim courteously called to say that he would be late by a few minutes. When he arrived, he checked the bait stations, and we talked about the one that had been hit. After I mentioned that removing the deck boards would not be easy, he again went above and beyond by: Removing some dirty insulation (and a dead mouse) to get to the bay window from the inside. He noticed that the two ends of the window had air flow. Under difficult conditions (light fixtures, wiring), he tried hard to reach into the depths of the bay window. On one end, he used a large amount of Great Stuff (foam) to seal the area. On the other end, he used steel wool to patch holes. Again, this was hard to do as he was standing on a ladder, trying to reach deep into a hole with obstacles in the way and poor lighting. He then sealed the electric box completely on the outside. He also put steel wool in the hole under the siding outside. He moved some bait stations to track any future movement. He checked again inside for air flow and noticed an unexplained breeze. He promised to come back in two weeks to check on the air flow, check the baits, and examine the results of the innovative work on the bay window. Jim was excellent, thorough, and patient in answering questions and explaining his work. A class act all around. An A+! We would recommend this company, and specifically Jim, to anyone with no hesitation at all. I was so impressed that I called Jim's boss and thanked him!

We had an ant problem in our condo. I had tried a number of over the counter solutions, but they kept coming back. We called Chem-Wise based on Angie List recs and they did a great job. They had Saturday appointments, arrived on time, and took care of the issue with one visit. Now 3 months later and no evidence of ants in the whole place. I would use them again.
