Description of Work: Bad problem with ants. Also hate earwigs and spiders. Talked with their customer service and was given lots of attention and details and pricing. Technician came out. We explored possible ant patterns and traced it to a nearby tree. He treated the entire house and the tree and path. As they stated, it took about two weeks, but they were gone. Asked them back to treat for a wasp problem, GONE. I signed up for the seasonal plan. They came back in the fall, treated, and I have spent a bug free fall and winter. VERY happy customer. They will be back in the spring to treat again.

Description of Work: I have (and still have) a mice infestation. Chem Wise came out and placed bate around the ground and middle floors of our house. But no bait stations were placed in the attic. 2.5 weeks later, Mark showed up and sealed some holes from the inside and some holes on the outside using expansion foam. 3 weeks later someone else came out and did nothing since the bait stations were not touched by the mice, even though the mice ran through the walls making very noticeable noises. This happened a few times and after about 5 weeks, I heard tons on noise in the attic. Mark came back and stuck his head in the attic but would not walk in it. He said there are signs of mice up there and he does not not to fall through the ceiling as reasons not to go in the attic. My attic has trusses only and no floor to walk or crawl upon. He came back 3 weeks later as the sound increased in noise and frequency. Mark came back, checked the bait station he placed in the attic at arms reach and said, no activity, guess the mice are gone. He threw some bait cubes around the attic also. He had to use my ladder to stick his head in the attic. I had to call a different exterminator because Chem Wise refused to go in my attic. None of the people from Chem Wise went in the attic. All they did is move the mice to the attic and then refused to go in the attic. They should have been honest and told me to get someone else from the start so we would not have wasted 2.5 months while the mice were increasing in population. Very disappointing in Chem Wise, and I would not recommend them to anyone!. I would have appreciated them much more if they looked in the attic the 1st day they were out here and told me to get someone else rather than do what they did to me.

Description of Work: Chem-wise was great! They followed-up multiple times until the mouse problem was completely eradicated. Always contacting us to make follow -up appointments and able to work around our difficult schedules. They were punctual and explained everything so we knew what we were dealing with.

Description of Work: I had wasps in the soffits above both the front and back porches. Chem-Wise came out promptly and sprayed, chasing out a lot of wasps. I was concerned about the chemicals in the sprays (it required a couple of gallons of two chemicals), but I looked up the chemicals and both were approved for use in food-service areas. He sprayed the house perimeter and also sprayed a couple of nests around the garage. There were no lingering odors. We've had a record year for warmth, and although I had this service performed over a year ago, I haven't had a recurrence.

Description of Work: Called Chem Wise because we were catching mice in old style traps in our basement. Initial call they came out and placed bait stations through out the basement area plus a few upstairs (garage, kitchen). Then on follow up about two weeks later they checked bait stations for any sign of activity, and inspected outsdie of house for any points of entry. They found three, all of which they obstructed with steel wool All of these activities were exactly as described to me in my initial call to them, and then were explained again by the techs that came out for the two calls.

Description of Work: I purchased the bee/wasp treatment from Angie's list discount offer for the summer and was very pleased with the restuls. We were able to enjoy sunny days on the patio without the bees hanging around even during mealtime. I will definitely renew the service for next summer. Well worth the price. Update: I have subscribed to full year pest control after seeing far too many spiders and creepy crawlers this winter, maybe due to the warmer temps. The service is excellent and reasonablly priced for 3x year treatements.

Description of Work: I asked Chem-Wise to come to an older home that I had just purchased. The home was uninhabited for almost a year, so i was concerned about rodents/insects in the home. The technician looked throughout the house, inside and out, and placed mouse bait stations in many different locations. There was a follow-up two weeks later to check the bait stations.
