Chem-Wise Ecological Pest Management

The problem is that every Fall one or two mice seem to be getting into the house somehow. We assume it is through the garage. Bait/traps have been placed throughout the home with no re-occurrence, until just recently. Bait/traps were checked with not much sign of activity. Their work has definitely briught the activiy to a bare minimum, but the main concern now is to determine the source or entry point which seems elusive for now.

Chem-Wise Ecological Pest Management did work for us at the end of the year. They came twice, only twice that was part of some deal that I paid for. And the second time they sent different guys who didn't know where any of the traps were. It wasn't everything I was hoping, but it was cheap and I got the value of what I paid, because I paid for a cheap offer. and I didn't see any mice after they came.

The Chem-Wise team was wonderful. They followed through on promises. The actual technician explained what he would be doing to solve the problem, how long it would take to control the problem and what follow up was necessary. They arrived on time when promised and remained patient through many questions. When I had follow up questions, the technician who worked on the home called me back. The price was reasonable and the service excellent!

He looked thoroughly outside where the mice could come in. He put little boxes in corners and in the basement. We have not seen any mice or bugs. He came back to recheck all the boxes. I signed up to have them come out quarterly.

They came on time, and performed the services as advertised. They were courteous and professional, and answered our questions in a clear and cogent manner.

This review is about services performed last year. This is the second time that I used this company. I used an Angie's List coupon offer for this service. They were prompt, courteous, did a good job and showed up on time. Spraying the house seems to keep the bees away. I will use them again in the future.

We had a big problem and when I say big i mean BIG! The biggest carpenter ants I have ever seen. They were eating our deck, porch and getting into our house. After reading reviews and trusting Angies List I gave Chem-Wise a call. They put me on a maintenance plan which sounds expensive but it is not. Since Chem-Wise has been out we hardly even see bugs anymore. We have two huge trees in our backyard and I was shocked that we could enjoy a bug-free summer last year. Their plan also includes mice control which we used them for and we haven't seen or heard anything in our house. They are a true treasure!!

Chem-Wise did a great job from the intial phone call to the service-tech driving away. I believe his name was Mike who addressed my issues. I was was for happy to work with him and Chem-Wise Pest Management and would definately use them again.

It was great. We have yellow jackets every year and they were the perfect answer. During the cold weather, we got a mouse in the house and I don't need to tell you how scared and disgusted I am with mice. Never had another problem.

Their quality was fine; I am going to give him one more try for another year to see if they help get rid of the problem that I have. He is coming back for a touch-up on Thursday.

We actually caught the second mouse in one of our own traps, but I believe it was their presence and the traps that they put down that prompted the mouse to move to the downstairs level of our home where he was finally caught.

The company was very prompt in getting back to me after I purchased their services. We set up a time for them to come out and access the mouse problem. They placed mouse traps (those little black mouse houses) and put down some mouse poison. Came back two weeks later and we had only 1 dead mouse. They supposedly plugged the holes (we weren't home, and they didn't leave details as to where the holes were), and left a lot of mouse houses for future visits perhaps? So far, so good, no mouses reported in the house, so I guess it worked. They sent over a final invoice afterwards but it was hard to read, so I may call to get a second copy to make sure I understand what they did and where.

The whole experience was easy and very thorough. He came at the designated time explained the process and proceeded to do his job. He came back and did his follow-up in two weeks and I am very satisfied with the process.

This spraying did help the wasp problem. The spray did get on windows. A window washing will have to follow this spraying. I do plan on having the spraying done again however.

They were excellent. They gave a clear explanation on how rodents enter the house and then also inspected parts of the foundation that other companies had not.

They were pretty good except the first time the guy didn't wipe his boots off and got mud all over the floor. I thought that other people that do that usually put slippers around their boots. Our basement has rugs in it and that really pissed me off, royally. I told the guy afterward and he went, oh okay. I think he said he was sorry or something like that, but thanks a lot, I have to clean my own rug now and it was very dirty. The marks off of his boots were real, real dirt. I hate to complain about anybody, and the guy was a nice guy, but I did not appreciate that at all. I did have them back a second time and the second time I did not have a problem. They did a good job, we don't have any more problems with rodents.

I've been with Chem-Wise Ecological Pest Management for a couple of years now. They are pretty good. I originally called them for ants, pretty much outside the house, not too many inside the house. I really like them and they're another one that they will come out more than 3 times a year if you need them to and they won't charge you. If you get on their program. I pay for a year program so they will come out 3 times a year for sure, but they will come out every time that you call them. If you pay in advance they will give you a better deal. Now that I know that I like them, I pay in advance. When I first got them I did price around and they were one of the cheaper ones out there.

and spray for spiders. very nice and I have not seen any more mice..they came set traps and returned 3 weeks later to refill traps

and This company has come to our house 3 times and is coming on March 2nd. They have placed several locked bait traps in different parts of the lower part of our home. Thru process of elimination (by bait not being touched) they have found approximately where the mice are coming from. They have shoved steel wool between the siding and the house where he felt a gap. Then told us to seal with caulk those areas so the steel wool would not rust away from elements. This is still ongoing and the tech that has been coming out is knowledgeable and professional. He is really trying to help us stop the mice from coming into our home, we just have to figure, with his help, where they are coming in from.

Everybody who had come out for Chem-Wise Ecological Pest Management has been fantastic. They got rid of the carpenter ants.

The company returned my emails promptly to set up the appointments. They came out and put down bait traps in the house and crawlspace. A few weeks later, they returned to examine and remove the traps and plug up holes where they thought the mice were using to enter the house. The servicemen were on time for both visits, were professional, and very courteous.
