Chem-Wise Ecological Pest Management

Scheduled around my busy schedule, arrived exactly when they said they would, very professional.

We had had a terrible wasp problem with wasp nests behind the shutters on the front first floor windows. Those who were working on the shrubs around those windows risked getting stung. The wasps severly limited the work done. Jim from Chem-Wise came out and did his thing. We have been wasp free since. If they came back I would not hesitate to call Chem-Wise back.

They got back to me right away when I contacted them through e-mail, and we were able to set up an appointment a few days later (mainly because I could only have them over at a certain time). The guy that came over was right on time, friendly and knowledgeable. He gave me tips on how to further prevent the ant problem. Within days, we saw ants go for the bait and die a day or two after that. Now I haven't seen too many come by, and that makes me happy. Even though he did warn me we'd have to be patient and that this takes time, I can already tell a huge difference. I would absolutely use these guys again. Probably something I should get done yearly. I'm even considering the bee/wasp proofing service. Very reliable, professional, and more than fair when it came to pricing.

Everything went great. The mice seem to be gone after the second visit. The crack and hole sealer they used really worked and is still working 6 months later.

Used for Rodent control. Found the source of the problem and came back for follow up. Technicain was pleasent and always on time. Bought a Big Deal to use them again

We had mice in our basement. I looked on Angies List for a recommendation, called and got someone live on the phone. They responded with a service call. The technician was very nice, courteous, professional. He treated the house inside and out. We now use Chem-Wise for our quarterly treatments for pest control.

I first used them as a angie's list special, but am now using them regularly for the summer. I have an old house, bees and wasps love it. It's white, I get a lot of those non-ladybug ladybugs that are supposed to be great for the garden--but bite if they're in the house. Plus there are four children, no airconditioning and food particles all over the place which attract ants. They've been great about being responsive, when we have an infestation of something.

We had found a couple roaches in our basement. Chemwise was very flexible in scheduling an appointment. The exterminator showed up right on time, explained to us what he was doing and was very willing to answer our questions. All of the employees that we have encountered have been very friendly. They also provided a 2 week follow up visit which is included in the price.

They were great. They were knowledgeable, came out quickly, and offered a good price.

Our service tech "Rudy" came out and explained everything he would be doing. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional.He ran into a problem with his sprayer and he had to return to the shop to fix it and come back to the house which he did willingly. They will return for follow up visits as needed. I saw a few dead bugs immediately following but none since. There will literally hundreds on the outside and several found around the windows inside before I called. We are extremely happy with the service.

All around a great company! From my very first phone call to them, I was approached with very kind and helpful people. The lady who took my orginal phone call for an estimate was so nice on the phone that I honestly hired them on the spot. Then ( I wish I would have gotten his name) the man who came over to do the spraying was such a sweet man! We have been getting tons of box elders and the big ants in our house. He told me that a lot of people were having the same issue, that gave me comfort knowing it wasn't just something we were doing or not doing. He did his job quickly and then told me if we had any activity at all to call them back and they would come out and spray again for no additional cost. Since their service I have been able to walk without my socks on again in our house =) This girl is not a big fan of bugs and they just made this summer even better.

I called to schedule an appointment and mentioned the Angie's List coupon so I received the discount. They scheduled an appointment for the next day. The gentleman arrived right on time. He sprayed all around the house and then came in and did some spot treatments where we saw ants. He said to wait 2 weeks for the full effect but the ants are already gone! Also outside our house we had seen a lot of bees near the deck and they are gone as well. We will definitely be using their services every summer!

Very personable technician, he did the work, and told me what to expect. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions.

It went well. We are should have two more treatments for ants.

Each technician that has come to my home has been timely, friendly and efficient. I will definitely continue to use the company.

He came out in November 2011. We wanted him for Mice in the winter. He was good. He setup mouse traps. The quality was very good. Though the traps did not catch any Mice. He used some kind of spider spray too. We passed on that though, as we had little kids. He was very enthusiastic. He was attentive and he wanted to do his job. He was fine.

Came when scheduled. Efficient. Effective. Well priced.

I noticed that we had black ants but they seemed bigger than normal and my husband wasn't sure what it was. When we talked to our neighbor they said they had carpenter ants last year. So I figured we had them also. Checked the ratings in Angie's List to find a good company and there came up was Chem-Wise.Called them up and they came out that Friday on the 15th of March. He had said that it was carpenter ants and he checked around and then outside. Then he put his chemical down and by the 29th of March when he came back they seemed to have gone. Plus now that they have sprayed our outside we have not seen anymore of them. We have decided to go with the annual to keep them and other critters out of our house. I would highly recommend this company. We are thinking of trying some of their other services that they have. Thanks Chem-Wise!!!!!

They helped us with that so we're very pleased. We haven't had a pest problem so they seem to have taken care of that. They call before they come and usually knock on the door when they are here. They are very pleasant.

I was very pleased with the service I received-and the courtesy and professionalism of everyone I dealt with. The person who initially took my call was very pleasant and helpful-and the young man who actually came out (I believe his name is Luke) answered all of my questions, and offered a number of different options of service. In fact, I was so pleased with them that I am doing the Tri-Annual Treatment for bugs. I also had them come out for a mouse problem I was having last fall. The same person came out-and again, he provided me with several options-and came back a few times to make sure that the problem was resolved.

Had Chem-Wise come out to my daughter's new home in Naperville. She recently noticed bugs in the home. We called Chem-Wise on Monday and they were out on Tuesday. Their schedule was very accomodating. The office was knowledgeable about the pest problems we had and were able to reccomend a service level for them. Steve was the technician that came out to their home. He was extremely polite! He answered all of her questions and gave them tips on other ways to reduce the chance of any further bug problems. She signed up for the Tri-Annual plan. Steve treated the inside and outside of the home. All the work is guaranteed. If they have any bug problems in between their service they will take care of it. We are so happy we found Chem-Wise and look forward to working with them in the future.

The service call went well, they were on time, professional, and after an inspection of the home, they determined where to place the mouse traps. After placing traps in the attic, basement, and garage, they also offered us other services they offer but we declined. Two weeks later they came back in order to inspect the traps. The food was not eaten and we were still hearing noises in the attic so they recommended a wildlife removal company as they stated it might be squirrels. They left the traps in place and said if we ever needed any other service to please contact them again for an inspection. Wee were very satisfied with the company and proceeded to review Angie's list for a Wildlife Control company (which is reviewed under Pest removal).

It took a while to get the firm to come to our home/building. By the time they came in August the problem was largely past for that calendar year, so the spraying may not have done much difference.
