Description of Work: I don't exactly remember what I spent without looking it up (an Angie's List Deal), so I estimated...However, I wanted to take the time to commend this company for their professionalism and quality of service. The technician they sent was extremely pleasant and conscientious. And, he found spots to seal on the exterior of my home that three previous services (over the last several years) failed to find. Once he pointed them out, it seemed obvious to me and made me wonder why the others hadn't looked there (i.e. the exterior corners of the home. As a matter of fact, one area that the third of the three previous services DID fix (after the two prior had completely overlooked) and gone bad (something he said should not have happened) and he took care of that too. For the record, the two of the three other services (which I will never use again) are Terminix and Rose Pest Control. The third was a local and they were at least much more helpful than the aforementioned. At any rate, I consider myself now an 'expert' (from the homeowner's perspective) on this kind of problem and, as such, I recommend Chem-Wise highly. They are also exceptional with follow-up. When I didn't call back to set my 2nd follow-up appointment (which was pre-paid, so they weren't doing to get their payment), they called and left messages until I did get back to them. Much appreciated and the girl on the phone is most pleasant!

Description of Work: I phone Chem-Wise when I suspected we might have some termite or carpenter ant activity in our detached garage. The gentleman in charge offered to send over a technician, free of charge, to check for ants and to determine whether or not a full termite inspection might be warranted. Keith, the technician, was WONDERFUL. He was punctual, polite, professional, knowledgeable, and when he found nothing suspicious at all in my garage, was completely honest about it. He could have invented a story about finding a carpenter ant's next just to get me to spend money, but he didn't. He was even kind enough to knock down a wasp's nest for free. I will definitely use this company in the future, and I will ask for Keith!

He took great care in performing the service. I was again impressed. He sprayed for wasps. I will definetly use them again. Keep the coupons coming..

Description of Work: I responded to one of the BIG DEALS and was very pleased with Chem-Wise for mice/spiders. Both young servicemen (there was a two week follow-up to check traps and seal openings) were knowledgeable, polite, respectful, punctual, and efficient. BRAVO! I give Chem-Wise an A++ and would recommend them to everyone.

Description of Work: chem wise did not complete the job requested. The service provided was totally inadequate and did not address the problem. I would not use them again.It was a waste of money, and the pest problem persisted until resolved by another company.

Description of Work: This guy arrived on time, in uniform, nice clean maintained vehicle, ready to work.

Description of Work: I had seen a couple of mice and had droppings in my kitchen. The tech came out, on time, and placed locked bait traps around my kitchen, garage and laundry room. Upon his return two weeks later and after checking the traps, he was able to determine that the mice were getting in from a gaping hole behind my stove which he promptly filled with a liquid to plastic filler. So far, so good. No droppings and no more mice. 7-13-2011 Happy to report STILL no droppings and NO mice!

Description of Work: We used Chem-Wise for extermination of carpenter ants and for lawn care. We had to have them come out a second time for the ants. I have still seen a few, but they seem to be contained. The lawn was fertilized and a weed remover applied. All the products that they have used, I belive, have been envioronmentally sound. That is why I picked this company. The weeds have been killed and the grass seems to be growing better. Time will tell. The company was very easy to work with.
