Description of Work: They replaced the chimmey cap. It had cracked badly. They came and removed old cap. Prepared area and poured a new cap. Area was kept clean. About two weeks later they returned to remove the frame and provide finishing touches. They had worked for us before and on both ocassions did an excellent job. I would call them again.

Description of Work: Despite a description indicating they performed the service we needed (ie, inspecting masonry for leaking and repair), they told us they did not perform those services. We wasted our time researching this and calling them.

Description of Work: I played phone tag with Joseph James Construction in a way that made me feel not only was my patronage NOT a priority to them, but that once I secured them for the work I wouldn't be a priority. I did not pursue an appointment after they promised to call me and waited 3 days to return my call.

Description of Work: What an odd experience. JJC showed up on time for a project estimate to repitch the back side of my driveway towards the backyard. Arthur was very professional and submitted a bid for the job about a week and a half later. Not really responsive, but I've seen worse. The bid was a bid vague on details regarding the timing of the job, what the exact solution would be to solve my issue, whether I'd need a permit from the city, etc. I emailed Arthur indicating I had a few questions. He answered some of them, but not all. I followed up again for further clarification and never heard back from Arthur or the company. Seems to me that if you want to ask a few questions on a $6k job, it's not worth the company's time to spend the time to anwer.
